We’ve loved staying here in the past but the price has gone up and quality down. Service is still excellent(cookies and coffee in the lobby). Breakfast is NOT included but guests do get $ 10 off. Linens and towels are tired. Housekeeping is sloppy and maintenance is desperately behind. The lobby smells of pine and a fireplace fire so it’s charming but the rooms are $ 110 quality for $ 170.

Good little spot to chill out after a long drive, p. s. Coopers bar serves a pretty good hamburger and the apps are decent. Views are spectacular of mount Shasta and the hotel is dog friendly. Tip is to get here early enough to get a room on the first floor, you get a little patio and the bathroom has been redone

We truly enjoyed our stay that this hotel. The service was fantastic. The employees were very polite. The rooms were very clean. The décor was very much in line with the hotel name. Lots of beautiful wooden décor, trimmings, etc… Dogs are allowed! We were able to bring out dog for the trails because of the pet policy here. Continental breakfast wasn’t offered, but there is a really really good restaurant and bar and lounge in the hotel. We had a gourmet breakfast and it was delicious. I would very highly recommend this hotel for your next stay. Also, if you’re braving the open road in a Tesla, there are plenty of charging stations.

Overall nice place and right off the freeway so very convenient. My only complaint is that when I booked the hotel it said on their website they offer continental breakfast but when we got there they had stopped doing it. I voiced my displeasure and no one mentioned a voucher or anything. Instead of a nice free easy breakfast we payed $ 50 to eat potatoes and bacon at their restaurant.

This hotel is amazing! I stayed here for a work trip and felt so comfortable in the hotel and room. The room was very clean and spacious. There was a full bathroom and an extra sink outside of the bathroom. The water in the shower heated up really quickly and the water pressure was perfect. There is a restaurant and a bar in the lobby. The bar also serves restaurant style food and was of good quality. The added bonus was the complimentary breakfast in the morning! If I am in the area again, I’ll be coming back to stay here.

First, when I checked in this woman named Mallory was very unpleasant, cold, and rude. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there not did she care. Very unpleasant. Second, my dinner was great, but my server was horrible. She was really inattentive and I could see her on her phone while I was waiting for a refill. Very disappointing.

Heading to northern Idaho from Central California, and needed a pet friendly place with 24 hour check in to stay to break up the drive. We didn’t get in until 5am after a long night of driving. The staff was helpful and set up an extra late check out for us just to make sure we had enough time to recoup before hitting the road again. The hotel is very clean, comfy and nice! Beds are GREAT! We had the double queen room, and it had two separate bathroom vanity areas for getting ready in the morning. This helped us get out and back on the road much faster! The hotel is right off the freeway but you don’t deal with traffic noise at all.(Our room was right on the end, and in the building closest to the freeway) Our room has a slider that went out onto shared guest pathways. This was so nice for taking the dog out for potty breaks. There is a little brook in a field right across the parking lot. It was the perfect spot to walk to dog in the morning. Plenty of parking area, and turn around area if you are pulling a trailer. The room has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a nice big television for our son to watch his morning cartoons. To sum it up. This hotel is Mom, Dad, Kid and Boxer approved!

We love staying at Best Western. They are very attentive and there rooms are clean and very comfortable. You get a terrific breakfast in the morning so you can get on your way. I do wish they had room service sometimes & also it would be nice to be able to check out at 12:00 instead of 11:00. That extra hour makes a difference. God bless Steve & Merrilyn

Stayed here ten years ago. Nice to see it is well taken care of. Large rooms and very quite. Pets are welcome and food is decent. Stayed on a Saturday and was booked up but did not feel crowded. Not cheap but a good value.

Treehouse Inn has the coolest freaking bar tenders in the known universe, I stop in every time I go through Shasta. The veggie burgers are totally killer too. The hotel itself is the homiest place ever, and the hot tub is filled with magic faries, rainbows, and stardust. **update 7⁄2: the coolest bartender, aka miss weed, is no longer employed there and it’s just not the same. The dead response from the new bartender implied to me that she may have been fired, but one can only speculate. This place is far less magical now. This place is dead to me. Was 5 star. Now it’s 1.

I love staying here! Nestled so nicely into Mt. Shasta atmosphere. :) Good stopping place from the PDX to LAX drive. & Micheline at the front desk was so sweet. Greeted me with a smile and a how are you as I was checking out, leaving my sleepy head a little more uplifted. :)

The hotel was perfect for what we were needing, but the best part was the staff! They were so nice and accommodating. My husband and I even came down from the mountain earlier than we thought. We had already checked out of the hotel but rushed back to see if they had cleaned our room yet(we desperately needed showers!) as we had left or bags at the hotel anyway. The rushed to the from desk as they td us to get back to our room and ask the cleaning crew if it was ok for us to go shower. When we got there, the room had already been cleaned completely. We asked the cleaning crew f they minded if we took showers in there anyway. They were so nice and let us know they would just re-clean it. We really appreciated that on the 5 hour drive back to San Francisco! And a side note, the food from the restaurant is amazing!

I enjoyed our stay here(on yet another SF to Seattle road trip). The place is nice and clean and does have amazing views of Shasta. They take dogs, the staff is friendly, and the rooms well appointed for the price range. I was a bit disappointed to learn that my «mountain view» room was on the first floor — but as soon as I expressed this, the staff moved me to a third floor room(I really didn’t want a mountain view that also included the building in front of me). The balcony and view were lovely and the rooms have a bit of a ski lodge vibe which made it much better than most stops along this stretch of I5. The town is cute — a bit western, a bit rundown(but not scarily so), and the clientele is a mix of I5 travelers, hikers and outdoorsy types, and other dog owners.

Great for families, pool and spa are fantastic, we got a great room for our family of 5 with an extra bedroom. Many sections of the hotel have no elevators. Complimentary breakfast.

We come here whenever our favorite bartender is working, Ali W. She makes our dining experience so much better. She is always so sweet and helpful and we make sure to eat in the bar when we see her working. The cedar plank salmon with jalapeño glaze is the best! Super flavorful and beautiful presentation. Ali is actually the one who recommended it to me so I have that to thank her for too.

Best Best Western I’ve stayed in. Very clean and great view of Mt Shasta. Complimentary breakfast is not the normal bagel, waffle, or cereal other hotels offer. It’s scramble eggs, country potatoes, ham, sausages, and more. Pet friendly!

I have no complaints about our stay here. I needed a dog friendly hotel room as I was driving through, and I wanted to hike around Mt Shasta so we decided to stay here. There are indoor and outdoor entrances from all bottom floor rooms which was nice. The beds were comfy and the TV had a good selection of channels to relax to. The AC unit was a little noisy but this didn’t bother me at all. Also they gave us coupons for the diner area. The food at the tree house restaurant was delicious(we had a wedge salad and the fish and chips with sweet potato fries). And the free breakfast was good as well. Lots of grassy areas for your pet to do their business, no bags though so remember to bring your own! And they only charged $ 20/pet/night which I thought was reasonable!(Don’t know if this changes with the seasons however) all in all is definitely stay again!

After staying in a sub standard inn the night before, this Best Western was like winning the lottery. The room was beautiful, w a beautiful view of the mountain. Everything was neat and clean. The pool and hot tub were fantastic! We had dinner in the bar area. It was delicious and our waitress was so nice. The breakfast in the morning was yummy. Family mbr was having to stay in the hospital, this place made it a ton easier to relax while we had to wait out a short stay for him. Thank you!
