Over the last eight months I’ve had five milk and cream products
go sour many days before the expiration date. Why did I buy five
times? Because after each episode I was assured by the store
manager that the refrigeration unit had been fixed. This latest
episode was the last straw for me because the manager was
particularly unhelpful. At this location buyer beware! of
refrigeration products with expiration dates.

Convenient, well-​stocked, and clean, this CVS should do the trick. Sometimes they have some pretty good sales on chocolate and wine.
The cashier I had was very friendly, I had a leftover container from Crepevine and the cashier asked were I ate. I said Crepevine around the corner, have you ever been? She said «I don’t know whats around here, I just work here», and I was taken back by that. Cashier there is much to see in this big world!

Convenient, well-​stocked and clean, this CVS is a great choice for last-​minute needs, home goods, newspapers and even scratch-​off tickets. I have old lady in my blood. I love those things. Find me at CVS scratching off tickets!
Also, it’s quite possible CVS has the longest receipts in the world. Each receipt comes with coupons. Get your scissors! There’s my old lady blood showing!

This is the WORST CVS pharmacy I’ve had the displeasure of having to use.
Slow, slow, slow. It doesn’t matter if there is nobody in line and nobody waiting, expect to wait 20 minutes to be helped while the one pharmacist they have there answers calls, taps on the computer keys forever and ignores your existence. If there is a line, forget it, add another 30 minutes. This is not a once in a while thing. It is every single time I go there.
There is no sense of urgency in anything. I dropped off a prescription this morning and said I needed it ASAP. She looked at me like I am crazy. I am in severe pain and she thinks it’s crazy that I want the medicine ASAP? 30 mins was the best she could do because there were others waiting. Fine. I go to Starbucks and come back 40 minutes later, now cutting it close with my train to work. At this point, there is no line, and nobody waiting. She tells me «It’s not filled yet.» I ask her how much longer and she tells me another 20 minutes. WTF? It takes you 60 minutes to fill a prescription when the place is empty? I decided to just go another day using expired pain medication from a prior procedure so I can get to work on time.
I tel her «I will just deal with the pain and come back later.» She gives me the same puzzled look as if to say «I can’t believe he wouldn’t wait!» Um yeah, I have places to be… like work, and don’t have time to sit around all day long on siesta time.
Going to see if I can get all of my prescriptions out of this CVS and go to a different one.

A kind lady by the name of DELLA provided the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Not only was she kind, but also helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Della’s concern and acumen of customers’ needs is exceptional.

Extremely slow. Non communicative pharmacy. For all the other stuff might be ok. But don’t go there if you expect any service.

This cvs pharmacy is very good and well stocked all the time when I go there feel comfortable and staff is very helpfull they deserve five star for their service

CVS was my primary pharmacy back in college days and early post-​college days, but I went for about 1.5 years afterwards without a CVS in sight. Now that I am back in an area with tons of CVS stores, I’m not sure if I want to go out of my way to a CVS anymore.
CVS used to be very good about advertising prices like 2 for $ 10 so each item was technically $ 5 each. Now I see that they’ve started to do that pricing where it’s $ 5.79 each OR if you buy 2 it’s $ 5 each. What. CVS I thought you were better than that.
Also, at this particular location, the layout is very strange (why is there a gigantic column of stuff near the front registers?) and the décor feels outdated now.

Bald, bad teeth dude is a very sad person, literally carded me, a 22 year old, right after not carding some other person who was buying cigarettes. I confronted him and he asked me what my point was. This is my point.
All the other people there are chill, dude with long hair and dude with short hair, just the bald one is the person to avoid, and perhaps make fun of. (your choice). Hence the two stars, I didn’t want to punish all these chill people who work there when only one of them should leave.
Cvs why? You’re a huge company, why hire someone life this in management? perhaps there is a flaw in your system or the governments, I don’t know… I’m a simple consumer who would like to be treated fairly, and a grown man asking another grown man his age to buy some product when it’s very clear he is of age and chooses not to ask someone else who isn’t clearly of age is something strange. That is the consistency of your hiring policy towards management as far as I can tell with mountain view.

Picked up prescriptions for my daughter, only had to wait for 21 minutes. Not bad at all. Would give it 5 stars but it was not perfect, then again what is…

I came in here on Friday night having just one HELL of a day and to top it all off with a cherry on top, my phone died JUST as I was trying to see the last piece of directions on my GPS and JUST as my friend texted me likely telling me where to meet them. I was already running just a tad late but now, I had no idea where to go, so I pull into the parking garage next to the CVS and barge in there desperate and almost in tears!
I had the pleasure of dealing with Jeff (the assistant manager) who was soo kind and was willing to do anything and everything to make sure I was okay and got what I needed, which at that time, was to charge my damn phone and find out where to go. Initially, he was going to pull a product off the shelf for my use but I had my wall charger so I asked to just use an outlet, which happened to be behind the counter. Jeff was soo incredibly nice, he let me sit back there and charge my phone!
I also dealt with Alfredo who was very attentive to my needs. I honestly won’t forget their generosity that night! After one $h**ty a$$ day, I could not have asked for better service! They obviously went above and beyond what they are expected to do.

This CVS is two blocks from my office, which is more or less the only reason why I keep going back. Otherwise, I routinely have to wait on hold on the phone for 5 minutes or more just to find out whether a prescription is ready, and the wait times in the store are usually even longer. Also, they misspelled my address on the prescription labels, which makes me wonder what else they’re not paying attention to.

I got a 25% off discount (which CVS sent to my email) so I decided to go to this CVS, but the irresponsible cashier won’t look at it, just saying that it is not in the system blablabla.

This location has everything I need. It can be busy at times but it’s a block from downtown MV. They need to fix the outside lights on the corner of California and Bryant. It always make it seem like the place is closed. This has been a gripe of mine for two years now!
Otherwise, excellent and clean location.

It seems like this place is always empty of staff. They do not have enough cashiers for the number of shoppers. I’ve found the selection a little bare… there won’t be enough of an item or if on special, they’ve almost always sold out. Seems like they’re afraid to overstock.
The little boutique place that was attached shut down this spring and has remained empty. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with this place…

They followup with your doctors for refills, always leave a message for you for pickup with clear instructions and will provide the best solution for colds, environmental allergies and the like when you don’t want to run to your GP
* Great Downtown Location
* Excellent Parking garage attached to the Pharmacy
* Large selection of everything you may need in a drugstore including shampoos from brands like bumble and bumble and pureology
* Sometimes grocery items are discounted and this location is accessible by a short walk from home

This is a really great CVS! The service is friendly, the selection is vast, they’ve got everything you need plus a Chase ATM, which is all kinds of convenient, especially on Sundays since it’s so close to the MV Farmer’s Market!
Bonus: A weird tip: spices are pretty inexpensive here, surprisingly.

Too slow waiting on lines here. They don’t have enough employees working here.
They got a huge parking lot though, which is convenient if you’re walking down Castro. It can get packed on busy nights though, so you’ll have to park on the street or the dirt lot across the way and walk.
Probably not the best prices, but the CVS rewards program is actually pretty good. I often get random coupons or CVS bucks after making several purchases.

The vet called in a prescription and I wanted to know when to pick it up. Here’s how the phone call went:
Hi. Our vet called in a prescription. When will it be ready?
When would you like to come in?
As soon as possible.
What time is that. It is 9:50 right now.
I can be there at 10:10.
That barely gives me enough time to get it ready for you.
OK, how about 10:20 then?
Depending on what time you will come, I will rush or not rush. What time are you coming?
Fine, I will be there at 10:15.
I was trying to reasonably flexible and help the guy out, but clearly, he was too stressed or grumpy to be pleasant. The same guy was much nicer in person, but not enough to convince me to come back.
