This was a backup to Zareem’s nearby [Must try, 5 stars]. I was quite disappointed to see Zareem’s closed on a Monday and stopped by this place on the corner for a combo shwarma. The amount of meat to gyro is despicable — i would say 1 to 4 with meat being the minority here. The flavors were very lacking. The few and far between tomatoes and lettuce were not as fresh as expects. overall a huge letdown, one that i prefer not to have to review but hope it helps the next person.

I ordered chicken shwarma and lamb gyro combo rice plate. On 14 Jan 2016. The lamb gyro was good but chicken shawarma was extremely dry. Rice seemed a day old. Overall the food was average for the price of14 $. The quantity for the price was less. I am still hungry. They have to improve the quality for the price they command.

Absolutely fantastic customer service and excellent food. One of, if not the best lamb gyros I’ve ever had and I probably have a dozen a year. Blown away, thank you Anthony and Giovanni !!

As a big falafel snob i can’t give this place more than 3 stars. The bread is not fresh and dry.

We love this place! The hummus is so smooth and delicious and the chicken shwerma is crispy and really good, too. I also love the falafel. The guy who runs the place is so nice and he always remembers us when we order.

Yuck! I ordered their wraps for the office. The bread on the wraps tasted old, over-refrigerated and gross. I had the beef wrap and was not able to chew through a single piece of beef in the wrap basically all fat. Also, stuffed with lettuce and not much else. Total waste of money, wish I could barf it back up it was so bad.(The hummus was good, dolmas were ok. But how hard is it to make those??) I would not recommend this place. Bleck.

The restaurant is on the side of the sushi restaurant and they have a mini outdoor patio as well. The owners are really nice and the food was good. After reading the reviews, I got the lamb shish kebab platter and gyro. Hummus is really good. The platter and gyro were both really good! The gyro is probably like 8⁄9 inches long and definitely does fill you up. I like the fact they have hot sauce available too, if you like it spicy. I got their fountain sodas, which turned out that their sodas were flat. I told the manager about it and he was nice enough to let me take can drink instead. Very nice owners and provide halal meat too. Everything seems like it’s fresh.

This is a pretty reasonable, normal Mediterranean restaurant. It’s an order-and-serve lunch type of place, not a sit-down restaurant. The food is decent. The staff is very honest and friendly. They have some nice, big-screen televisions, usually set to soccer channels. I wouldn’t cross town to have a meal here, but it’s well worth a try if you’re in the area.

This place is legit — awesome service and awesome quality mediterranean. Hidden gem tucked away by Googleplex. Have you considered locations in San Francisco? Some good operations out of a food truck where there’s not crazy competition.

Excellent food and service. Delicious shawermas and kababs. Oh and you have to try the Kunafe — the best sweet dish hands down! The tea makes a nice accompaniment to any meal here. All in all, a must try for Mediterranean food in Mountain View.

I can truly say I love this place with all my heart. I work at google down the street. Even though I’m offered free meals of all different kind of food. I choose to come to this place. The lamb and chicken kabob plate is so delicious. I order it at least twice a week. The rice is soooo good. Also, both of his sauces are incomparable. I thank this man and his staff for such great food and quick service. Thank you so much friend

Tasty food. Quiet place. We come here to watch soccer games on the TV. No noise around, so you can enjoy a good game. We are watching the UEFA Champions League Final right now

Stopped by on a Sunday, place was a ghost town. My combo wrap was tasty, and the spicy sauce was a nice surprise. But… the dining area is sad, old, cheap, needs a lot of repair, and not very clean. For being in such a high-rent area, I was expecting much a much better experience.

We tried some of their new entrees and loved them. They are conveniently located off the shoreline exit sandwiched between the theatre and the google campus. Tea is wonderful and staff is friendly and courteous. We will be back again!

I ate there last summer, and my coworker complained about not having enough chicken in his wrap. So we never came back. I decided to give it another chance with two of my coworkers, and the same thing happened again. One of my coworker didn’t get much chicken meat on his wrap. I ordered chicken shawarma and it was overcooked. I couldn’t finish my wrap due to a funny taste. The side salad had too much dressing, it was like they soaked the lettuce in oil and vinegar. My second coworker took a bite and put down the wrap and never touch it again. I felt bad because I suggested that place. We often eat out because our corporate cafeteria is not that great. The place was mostly empty during that lunch time. I agree with some of the other reviews about the place being worn out. With all the tech workers around, you would expect better food and ambiance, but no. I had stomach pain the same afternoon. This was by far the worst food experience I had in the last 2 years that I have been working in the Mountain View/Sunnyvale area. I will never go there again.

Great hole-in-the-wall for a fast, inexpensive, and filling lunch. It gets pretty packed during lunchtime, especially the outdoor seating. Perhaps this is because the inside is frankly quite shabby, though not unclean. I got the lamb gyros wrap for ~$ 9, and it comes with a small side salad. It’s not bad; there was a generous amount of lamb and the quality seemed better than most places at this price. Okay I hate short reviews, but I don’t know what else to comment on. Nothing spectacular, but it’s convenient and fairly satisfying – the perfect workday lunch place to stop by to treat yourself in the middle of a long day. The catch? Potentially induces food coma.
