This is a fast food style Chinese ramen restaurant with quick in and out service. The restaurant is usually crowded and busy. The soup is good, but the cleanliness of the restaurant is questionable.

Me and my gf came here on Friday morning around 9:20am. The food is great, however the man helping us order kept walking around with loud music on his phone. I swear this is the most unprofessional thing to do. Since my gf and i both work in customer service. And on top of that my gf is sick so she kept being bother by the music. When I say loud I mean the music filled the entire restaurant and although its okay for restaurant to have music it is not okay to walk around with your phone on the loudest level and ignore that there are people trying to communicate and have and a nice lunch.

This was my go-to place back in high school, and I came here a few times when school got out early like after finals. Luu noodle is good if you’re on a budget or want a quick meal that’s prepared fast. Me and my friend never bothered much with the noodle soups because they were pretty lacking in flavor the one time we tried it. However, yang chow fried rice or pad thai are decent dishes, a good portion and cheap. Also don’t bother much with the PMT… I remember that the melon and taro PMTs were too sweet and I didn’t feel too good after I drank it.

Come with the right expectations. This is a fast food Vietnamese noodle place. Prices are kept incredibly low and the food come out fast and hot. I like coming here during my lunch break especially on a cold day. Your order comes in about 5 mins and the portions are generous. I’ve been to places where a small is child size but the small here can actually get me full. I’ve tried their pad thai which was bland and also too oily. Their milk tea is made with lipton tea. I recommend sticking to their noodle soups.

Tasty, fast and healthy for you. Luu uses fresh ingredients and the portions are generous. Bit better than a few other Phở restaurants near by.

Came here today for some soup. The place was pretty busy. Long line and not many tables open. The line went by pretty quick and the cashier was very quick to take orders. I was a little disturbed while standing in line, workers would pass by with huge rolling garbage can with no lid and practically pushing me over with their carts of dishes. This restaurant is pretty big but I guess I was standing in the wrong place because they kept passing by the long line of patrons to get to the back/kitchen. I ordered one combination wonton noodle soup to-go, which I thought would be pretty quick but I waited for 25 minutes. And their large is not that large like I expected. I’m curios to see how big their small is? Or if they gave me a small by accident. Anyways soup was good. Not great but good for the price and no complaints. I just think the place could be a little cleaner and faster service.

This place has potential. It’s just too frantic. Great place to take to family dinner on a budget. They tossed the menu on the table and a Jose took our order. We ordered but also wanted appetizers I took for a brief 2 seconds to look for appetizer section and he said he will be back and took 2 other people’s orders gave others tea, and then came back to take my appetizer order, which all they had was egg rolls. He wrote it down and went away. We got our food it was cold but came fast. Like it’s been pre-made and waiting on the table and lightly microwaved but not enough to where it was steaming or hot to the touch. It was cold as coffee sitting out for 20 minutes. A non asian native lady across from me ask for extra crispy asian bacon bits and they gave her a teacup full of it. I would have said no, I can’t let you do that to our product and to your health. I was actually satisfied with the amount of food and meat I got for the price but no matter the amount the quality deteriorates if care is not given to it. Just don’t treat it like fast food and it’s a great place. Id be wrong for giving it a 1 when it’s more of how just things are giving in consideration the costs, pressures, and low wage. If you are looking for 5 star service look for a place with more dollar signs. This is right in between fastfood and sit down restaurant.

Let me start by telling you about my experience. Came here for the first time because I was starving after my trip to Walmart. The waiter guy who took my order didn’t seem happy to be taking my order. Keep in mind I wanted to order a few meals because I was starving. He rushed me and did not have any manners. I didn’t even get to finish my order. After that incident, I honestly wanted to just leave. I wasn’t even hungry anymore. My boyfriend said thank you to him multiple times where he would look and turn right back around. I had to «welcome» my boyfriend for the waiter’s rudeness. This is why I’m giving this one star because of the waiter. He was too busy playing with his phone and rather do that than give service. I def wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone because I sure won’t be back. Btw I am still starving.

Yuck. Possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I ordered a wonton noodle soup, and it came sans noodles. The wontons were edible, but both the soup and wonton were just bland. My boyfriend’s order of chicken chow fun were basically inedible, completely covered in a slimy substance. With such bad food combined with bad service(impatient staff, which probably led to taking my order incorrectly) and mediocre atmosphere, I definitely won’t be back. Our food had only a few bites in before it was tossed.

Been coming to this place for over a decade; starting when it was Tung Kee. This used to be our«go to» noodle house for something simple, quick and consistent. We won’t be back. The tofu in my veggie chow fun was not fresh. The broth in the rice stick soup was just hot water. The food is no longer flavorful. Even the service has markedly declined from the few instances we interacted with the staff. It’s a shame. Wow. Editing from 2 stars to 1 star for really bad service! I guess I was using too much hot sauce. I had used about a third of the jar between my chow fun and spring rolls. The lead server guy at the time, Jose, was monitoring and came by to switch my jar. The next time I used it, I had just put the top on when he came back and confiscated it! Maybe he saw me writing a Unilocal!review.

Simple, cheap, and not bad… Just don’t think about the service. By the way, they are not Chinese, they speaks Vietnamese to each other.

Wow. This was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I wanted something quick and cheap and decided on this despite the bad reviews. I thought that it was impossible to mess up even noodles. If everything on the menu is mostly noodles, it obviously has to be okay right? I was completely wrong. I ordered the vegetable ho fun while my bf ordered combo pan fried noodles. We received our dishes relatively quickly. Upon my first bite, the noodles were extremely bland, and had a weird bitter aftertaste. I tried to douse the noodles in Sriracha and soy sauce to make it taste better, but the noodles couldn’t be saved. Plus, the aftertaste was still lingering there. I had only taken a few bites before I couldn’t eat it anymore because it was so bad. Instead, I just picked out the tofu and broccoli and ate that instead. What all the other reviewers said about the noodles being bland is true. Whatever you do, don’t get the ho fun. BF liked his pan fried noodles, and I agreed that it tasted better than mine, so I just ate some of his dish instead, but even we didn’t finish that dish off. Luckily, paying upfront at the register didn’t involve tipping, so we just paid quickly and left, leaving the two partially eaten dishes on the table. If you want to eat cheap takeout, there’s way better places in the area. This place is not worth the disappointment.

Never again would I go here…

Me — «So where you guys going for lunch?» Coworkers — «We’re going to Luu Noodle. You wanna go?» Me — «Sure, why not!» I’ve noticed my coworkers dine here at least two to three times a week. Was it because they were regulars like Norm on Cheers? I had to see for myself why they loved this place so much. I couldn’t remember the last time I’ve stepped into chained noddle shop like this. I did come here with my coworker on two different days, but in the same week. My soup choice for each visit was the beef ball soup, but with different noodle styles. One was with egg noodles and the other time was the Hanoi noodles(thick noodles). Our orders came out fairly quickly on both my visits. The beef balls were firm to chew on. :PAUSE: It seems that the broth used in these soups are bland. To help give the broth some flavoring, besides the MSG, I had to add extra squirts of sriracha and hoisin sauces into the broth. Small bits of cilantro and onion slices were also include in the soup. I also add the house soup condiments of sprouts, jalapeño slices, and a lime to assist the non existent soup flavoring. The egg noddles were firm and easy to chew. As for the Hanoi noodles, they were soft, but not easy to handle with chopsticks. I didn’t give up on the chopsticks. Forks are for quitters! Just kidding! I find the mom and pop noodle house much more appealing. Don’t get me wrong, this place is good for a fast and budget friendly meal.

Seriously whats with the hate??? This place is SOOOO cheap. Its suppose to be like a fast food noodle house. Everything comes so fast and u finish u pay up front in the cashier and they dont even expect u to tip. They have sooo many noodle variety, TK style noodle. I think it’s good for the price, obviously it aint japanese ramen quality but then again this is like $ 6 per bowl typa noodle soup. So dont come here expectin Orenchi ramen or some shit. You come they sit u right away and they take your order as you sitting your butt on the chair and food comes just when u thinking whether you order the right thing and you eat and before u kno it ur satisfied and you pay and u leave. 30−40mins top! Easy quick and I am full!

Dont know how to begin, but seriously I can cook better than this, and Im not even a good cook. Even Panda Express food is way way way better. Please do something about your food quality, the fried rice i ordered, i dont know what u put inside to make it yellow. It is tasteless i had to add salt to make it at least it is not tasteless. The rice is hard, and i have to swallow it with water. This is a $ 7 not worth spending. Should have trust the star rating on this place.

With the low star review, I was kinda nervous to eat here. My nephew refused to eat at any other place for some odd reason & he’s only 4 years old! Oh man! They sat us down right away & already asked if we were ready to order. Umm, no I didn’t even open the menu yet! The moment he walks away, another guy comes up within the next 45 seconds & asks if we’re ready. Oh man! Not yet! Finally after deciding what my stomach wants, I ordered the large pad thai. My sister got #3 combination with wonton &4 eggrolls. Our food came out very fast. We probably didn’t have to wait any longer than 10 minutes for our food which was awesome. My pad thai was pretty good and flavorful. My sister seemed to enjoy her noodles. The eggrolls weren’t too bad. The workers here were very nice & not the typical rude staff you’ll get at other fast noodle houses. I’d probably come back if I was in the area & wanted to eat noodles.
