Burgers are awesome. My fav is the Cajun sunrise. Only complaint is the Cajun fries are extremely salty every time.

So many average restaurants in this area. Meat heads does average pretty good. The burger was what you would expect in the price range and that was the highlight of the meal. The chilli cheese fry’s and chilli dog were garbage quality ! It is a clean place and the staff is friendly in a way that would make you think they belive in what ever corporate BS they were feed to make them thinks meat heads would be the next best thing… so okay for a drive thru experience you could do worse but it’s not fast and if you want a really good burger there are other places around that are as good or better !

Good service. Tasty food especially the Cajun fries. I wish the meat had a bit more seasoning, seemed somewhat bland. Good selection of toppings and condiments.

You can get a really good, freshly made 1⁄3 lb burger(two patties) for $ 5.00 here, and not to mention a multitude of free toppings and sauces. Toppings include red peppers, grilled onions, mushrooms, and sauerkraut and they stand out a bit from the competition. This place just opened in June 2014.

Hands down one of the best burgers I ever tasted. This is definitely my favorite burger place in NW Indiana. Absolutely delicious. 5 stars well deserved

We have eaten at Meatheads a few times. Burgers and shakes are incredible. They have service with a smile. Everything you want. Love it!

We love this place! The burgers are much better then five guys. Better prices then five guys. It’s a little far for us but definitely worth the trip. They always keep it clean and the employees are friendly.

I checked out this joint out of curiosity. It is clean and neat. The look of the place is cute with images of the community. I ordered a ½ lb burger(6.50) with cheese(additional $ 1) and bacon(additional $ 1). So my burger was 8.50… I could have had a cheaper burger by making different choices but didn’t! I wanted to try it the way I like it. Now I realize I should have just ordered the Texas ranch burger with similar toppings for $ 7.00. It’s not on their menu but I got a kids fry, it was $ 1.50 and was perfect for 1 person. The soft drink was $ 2.00 and not very large but there are refills. So my meal was about $ 12.00. I know plenty of people that are complaining about the prices, I really didn’t find it to be that bad. The Golden Arches are right down the street if you want something cheap. This place is quasi fast food, you order and then sit down and they bring it to you. I like the fact they have hot dogs, salad and chicken options as well. The burger was pretty good. The ½ lb is 3 patties. There are tons of sauces for your burger. I you can still eat the burger plain and it is pretty good but they don’t over season it because if you add sauce to that it wouldn’t be good. My fries came out fresh and were very tasty as well. I liked the fact they had pepper mills and sea salt mills on the tables. They have the cool coke machine with all the options. The staff was very friendly and upbeat. I came by myself because I was nervous when I saw the reviews on how pricy it was. Now I know it’s not really that bad I will be back. I did enjoy the burger but my only complaint really is that the bun was a little crazy. They need better buns!

Can’t get enough! So after my first visit where I mentioned I had a customer service issue, I was contacted by their management team to apologize and I have since returned to try them again and again and again. I came back because I was impressed that they were so quick to fix a service issue and on each visit I have had such great food and great service. The cajun sunrise is so good! The egg is always cooked perfectly, the blue cheese sauce is insanely good, the fries are always great. I cant say enough about the food. We have tried other burgers, my son always gets the chicken strips, never disappointed! I am so glad they lured me back after my first visit

We absolutely adore Meatheads. It’s become one of our go to places when we are dying for a quick meal out. Meatheads has something for everyone– build your own burger, choose from one on the menu, try a hot dog, chili dog or new england style. The cajun fries or regular fries come family style to share and their cheese dipping sauce is tasty. Prices are on average, similar to any sit down family restaurant. The restaurant itself is neat and clean, and the employees are attentive and friendly. When a mishap with the way orders printed resulted in our meals all coming out at strange and separate times, the manager immediately noticed and gave us coupons for a return visit. All in all, there’s not been a burger I tried here that I did not enjoy.

We tried Meatheads last night for the first time. He had the 1/3lb burger and I had the Little Meathead. We shared fries(they bring you enough for two). The person who took our order explained everything and was very nice. We then got our drinks, picked a place to sit and waited for our food. Like the other reviews it did not take too long to get our food. It was done correctly and tasted pretty good. They have wonderful fries! The burgers were — well burgers(better then the golden arches) but I think they could do better buns(however they were fresh). We were checked on and they cleared our stuff promptly. The place was clean and the décor was really neat — local sports team scores posted(we thought that was awesome). We would eat there again when in the mood for burgers.

I visited this location in June, which I believe was shortly after they opened. The drive-thru was still not operational at the time. Either way, I waited quite a long time, 15 – 20 minutes, for one burger. I found that the meat in the burger wasn’t much different than what is served at McDonalds or Burger King. Definitely not worth it. I was expecting a true, gourmet burger. I was disappointed. Not sure if things have changed since then or not, but I haven’t been back, and seriously doubt that I ever will. I am simply not a fan of fast-food.

So I tried the Robbie Gould burger again here, and it came out much better. I guess that last time was a fluke. Whatever it was, I’m still impressed with the service at this location. Consider me a Meathead. :)

Stay away! I came here with my best friend, she had never been to one. We both ordered burgers and split some chili fries. The fries were good, although the burgers were not. Our burgers tasted under cooked. While I asked one of the girls that brought out our food, she mentioned she didn’t know how the meat was supposed to look. She added that she never ate a burger there either. The meat looked grey. I didn’t finish my burger, nor did I want another one made when she asked. I regret eating there. My tummy has been upset since then.

Decent burgers, weak ass bun. Burgers are sloppy. Cajun fries aren’t very«Cajun». I would go back for the atmosphere. Clean and efficient, nice out door space to eat. Get the«specialty burgers». The build your own will run you a fortune. Lunch for two cost 25 bucks!

We tried Meatheads today for the first time. My husband and I both got a 1⁄3 lb burger and he had Cajun fries and I the regular ones. The price was comparable to pretty much any burger joint, but I believe as far as free toppings go they had a wider selection. The girls at the front were polite and took care of us very well. We decided to eat in and were told to put our number on our table and our food would be brought out. After a short time, all food is made to order so it was a few minutes, our food was brought out to our table. The burgers were very good, my only negative about them at all is they could use a little salt. My hubby enjoyed his greatly and they were made perfectly as we had ordered them. The fries, a generous portion, were very yummy. I even tried his Cajun, and they weren’t too hot to eat. He loved the fact the offered a jalapeño and chipolte variety of Ketchup as well as the regular heinz. We constantly had staff checking on us, and clearing our plates as we ate. Everyone was very nice and it was a pleasant experience. I also loved the décor, the pictures from around town, made it feel more like they cared about the community that had taken up residence in. I guess their major competition would be 5 Guys, and I think in a few areas Meatheads may have pulled ahead in the median burger joint arena. So we will for sure be visiting this place often.

Meatheads is one of the most AVERAGE hamburger joints around. I picked up some food to go but thought that restaurant looked neat and clean. I also felt that the cashiers and the young lady that brought my food out were exceptionally friendly and professional. The food however did not measure up to great experience at the front of the house. I order the the ½ pound cheeseburger(American Cheese) and fries. Meatheads does order a plethora of cheese and topping choices but I wanted to see if they could get the basics right before getting silly. The cheeseburger was a solid 3 out of 10. The cheese was constant with American Cheese but the flavor of the meat was about as bland as Carson Daily. I ordered my little lady a Hawaiian cheeseburger which would have forced even the incomparable Samuel L. Jackson to take a bathroom break before being able to bring the wrath if good on a one bedroom full of frat brothers. They actually put a canned pineapple on that bitch. If it was fresh, I assure you it was the runt of the litter. The one item that sets this burger apart, wasn’t even fresh! My daughter dined on ¼ of a burnt chicken tender and my son’s hot dog was that color pink we all decided could pass for skin tone when coloring contests got competitive. In summation, the service was great but thats not going to be enough to keep people coming back when you have Shoop’s and Five Guys so close by.

I have been to Indiana twice in my life, wedding and bought a dog. Never had another reason except now you have a Meatheads. I was in the far south suburbs yesterday as the tummy started rumbling I remembered it was grand opening day in Munster. I realized that by importing Meatheads, Indiana wants me and I can go back there. Crossing the border made no difference in the quality of the food. My burger was cooked perfectly, juicy enough for flavor but not to the point of ruining the bun. The fries were fresh and hot. The oil they use for frying compliments the potato flavor. Normally I use ketchup on fries. Not here, they didn’t need anything to enhance the taste or coverup a lingering burn oil aftertaste. They are perfect. They also have the electronic self-serve soda machines. They are fun because of the seemingly limitless selections and combinations I can make. The staff was well trained and very pleasant. Each person I encountered had a smile and seemed concerned with my dining experience. Even the manager stopped to see how things were. Even on a busy day like this, she was out mingling with customers. That was another sign of a great staff doing their job. They have a drive through window which will be great for the residents and area workers looking for quick service on the go. Besides their food, a great thing about Meatheads is that they really embrace each community where they open. The décor always recognizes area schools, teams and the businesses that helped the community grow. This location even has a book reading program with goals and rewards.
