Had the the 18 oz ribeye. Nothing to fancy but the meal was very filling. Would try again.

Steaks are always perfectly cooked which is difficult because my husband orders medium plus. Its rare that anyone ever gets it right. However last time I had their salad, evidently the bowl was chipped on the way to the table because on my third bite I got something crunchy. It was glass from where the bowl was chipped.

We wanted a good steak while in Murfreesboro and since all along Medical Pkwy has an assortment of different types of sit down restaurants we decided Longhorn would be the place to go. Good thing too because it turned out all the food we ordered was perfect. Quality was excellent and cooked to perfection. Our server was very good and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend eating here while in eastern Nashville/Smyrna/Murfreesboro area.

I got a gift card to LongHorn from work so I thought I would try it out. We order the blackberry iced tea, which was nice but of course it was sweet tea and flavored syrup. Started off with the corn fritters and I wish they would have patted them before serving because they carried too much of the oil. Didn’t have a lot of corn in them which I wish they did. My mom got the 11 oz ribeye at medium rare, mashed potatoes and rice. The ribeye was cooked just like how we asked but it was seriously lacking in flavor as well as the mashed potatoes. I got the LongHorn Gourmet Burger with fries. Cooked the way I wanted but it was also lacking in flavor. It was just a bun, purple onions, pickles, tomatoes, and a piece of lettuce. It needs a special sauce or more seasoning other than salt and pepper. The service was okay, it was lunch time and the rush was starting to come in which had us sitting there for 5 – 10 minutes before someone came to get our drink order. And she only came around once after our food arrived.

Never have had a bad meal here! The steaks come out cooked EXACTLY the way you want them and seasoned to perfection. The cuts are great and when you order a particular cut for the amount of marbling(sirloin vs. ribeye, for example) you get just what you’d expect. The sides and apps are great, but a couple of favorites are the asparagus and creamed spinach. The asparagus has a lemon butter drizzled on it that is insanely good. The spinach actually has whole spinach leaves instead of a sloppy chopped up mess. One of my favorite dishes when I don’t want to go too heavy is the Seven Pepper Sirloin salad. It’s very filling and not too big of a hit to the waistline if you don’t get crazy with the dressing.

They hit another one out of the ballpark with their new Steak — cut BBQ Brisket. The meat was very good, but the total ensemble of roasted potatoes and onions with cheese sauce under the bourbon BBQ brisket was, well, indescribably delicious! Our favorite server Shawn wasn’t here today but Dominique ’ s service rivaled his excellent attention. Can’t wait to come back for more! P. S. Hubby was very impressed with the Prime time Burger as well.

I go to a steak place because I want to taste the beef flavor of a steak gently seared(I take my meat rare), I want my potatoes to taste of potato, this was none of that. The steaks were marinated or rubbed or both in so many spices I couldn’t tell it was steak I was eating, the sauce overpowered the calamari and I couldn’t tell it was scalloped potatoes I was eating.

Great food at any location you may go to. This particular location had great service. The waiter was great! It made for an even better steak. Thank you guys, you should have classes to teach other servers how to do their job.

I liked the atmosphere at LongHorn; I just wished the food quality and quantity matched up to the atmosphere and the prices. The bread basket was nice; it was a generous portion of fresh-baked bread with a butter ball on the side. The service was good. Punctual, personable and unobtrusive. The seats were so-so. We were seated next to the kitchen entrance, so we were in a busy area of the restaurant with waiters, servers and managers constantly passing by. It was a distraction. My ribeye was cooked just right but it was small for what I was paying for. I was surprised that the steak was unseasoned and I seasoned it myself with the salt and pepper grinder at the table. My last few bites were over-seasoned so it appears that my steak was unevenly seasoned. My wife’s 6oz sirloin was small but thick and met her expectations. Both of our entrees came with one side. My risotto was cool and did not taste like it was just made. My wife’s loaded baked potato again met expectations. Maybe I am picky but if I am going to eat at one of the higher-priced steakhouses in the Boro, I expect everything, including the food, to be better than I could get for less moola. Sadly, I did not feel I received this level of food quality. This reduced my evaluation of LongHorn to average when it definitely had the potential to be higher.

I enjoyed the rib bye and green beans. The manager Ashley was very helpful and courteous when an issue arose she took care of it promptly and professionally. The waitstaff could be a little more attentive but for a busy night I would give them a fair rating. The only problem I have Is the exes I’ve use of the microwave I seen while sitting at the bar but maybe that is just a personal thing. I will be back and look forward to our next visit.

I ate here on a business trip with a couple people. We had a great time. The waitress was great, she was knowledgeable and kind. The service stayed great. through dessert. I ordered the flo’s which is my normal order when I come to Longhorn. Got the French Onion soup which I love at Longhorn’s and it was good. Nice experience.

Stopped in for lunch recently and was expecting good things based on my previous experience, but was disappointed. I ordered a shaved prime sandwich with garlic parmesan fries which, based on the menu description, was exactly what I was wanting. Not only was the meat in the sandwich not shaved, it was not prime rib. There was several large pieces of gristle in the sandwich; something that does not exist by definition in prime cuts. The sandwich had more in common with a mediocre Philly Cheesesteak than prime rib. While the fries may appeal to some people, I would have preferred regular. The garlic parmesan was not particularly well adhered to the fries and collected in the bottom of the basket. I will stick to ketchup. The only reason I gave this visit two stars instead of one is that the waitress did everything she could to salvage my visit. She was pleasant and apologetic, and offered to bring me something else to eat. I thanked her and declined. She said that she would pass my concerns on to the manager.

We love going here for dinner! We have been to some nice steak houses including Ruth’s Chris and we think this is the best! Our steaks have come out perfect all but once it twice, in which case they were fixed right away. Customer service is always great and the lunch menu has great prices too!

One of my favorite places to eat. Have been here several times since it opened a few years ago and have never had a bad experience. Flo’s filet is amazing! Hubby and I lovingly refer to their Mac n cheese as crack n cheese. It is so good! Even their salads are yummy. Drinks are also tasty although sometimes a bit too stiff. I appreciate the bartenders honesty when I ask about a new drink. Sometimes he recommends, other times he says pass. Good atmosphere & staff, fantastic food. Usually a wait time but can find room at the bar to wait. Love Longhorn.

I had one if the best ribeye steaks I have ever had here. I don’t know what they use as a rub other than pepper but it was good. I almost didn’t need a knife to cut it. We didn’t have to wait at all and our waiter was great and helpful if we needed it. The manager even stopped by to checkup on us. I would like to say this, not just Longhorn, but all steakhouses. A1 is not the only sauce out there for steak. While A1 complimented this particular steak a sweeter sauce also would have been great too. But that is not a gripe just wishful thinking.

This was my first experience with LongHorn. I called ahead because we had a big group. Easy to find on the Medical Center Parkway. Large, busy place, hop-to-it staff and interesting western stuff up on the wall. Low lighting, but it was still easy to read the menu. The older generation could get all their fancy wines, and I had a bottomless peach iced tea that just simply *rocked.* Not too sweet, and if I didn’t stir the ice around, the bottom was still fairly warm, so I know it was being freshly brewed, and I was lovin’ it. I was dehydrated from the steamy climate, and that tea was just what I needed. I downed several glasses of the stuff during the course of our meal. We started out with two appetizers. Parmesan Crusted Asparagus. A little too salty. Came with spicy ranch dip. The dip was great. Also, Wild West Shrimp: breaded & fried shrimp that had some chopped hot peppers along for the ride. Just OK. Enough to fend off our hunger until the rest of our food could arrive. I had eaten lunch late. I didn’t want another one of those too-big restaurant dinners. I spotted the«500 calorie section» of the menu. Score! I had salmon(nice bourbon sauce, not overdone) green beans and a garden salad – no croutons. I went«low carb,» to save room for dessert. Hubby had the flat iron steak with a stuffed portabella mushroom. Hey, anything made out of a cow is fine by him. He really liked the filling in the mushroom. He gave me a bit of the steak, and it was phenomenally tender. Our group had a good time. We stayed for dessert. Hubby and I split some Molten Lava Cake. Fudgy! They give you a lot of food here, so if you are not a big eater, I suggest you split an entrée with your companion.

I eat at various Longhorn’s from time to time and I will say that the filet I had here the other day was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! Want a great steak — head here.
