Ok, so my wife and I went to Outback yesterday for a late lunch around 3:00pm. We were seated right away, and told that our server would be by shortly. While we waited… and waited. and waited, another table that was sitting near us got up and left. They said that they put their drink orders in, and had been waiting on them for over 10 minutes. Well another server, Chad, came by and explained that he was not our server, but would take our order since we had been waiting so long. He was great. I wish he was our server. He sat down at our table and apologized to us for having to wait. After giving him our food and drink order, he comped us a free appetizer for our inconvenience. We appreciated that. Finally our server comes by the table and brings our drinks to us, but did not introduce herself to us. Then she disappears… no where to be found. Our appetizer and side salads come out back to back, which is fine. She didn’t bring either to us. I have to wait multiple times to get my drink refilled, which was usually refilled by a different server. Finally, our food comes out, which our waitress brings to us(surprise surprise). We asked for a box for the leftover’s from the appetizer. She sees that my wife’s drink is almost empty, and says she will bring her a refill. Guess what… she disappeared again. Steaks were cooked perfectly(Good job to the cooks in the back!). We are almost done with our meal before the waitress brings the refill. However, she passed by our table three times to go to the people that were next to us. As we tried to get her attention, she just continued on in to oblivion. Finally she comes back with my wife’s refill. She asks if we would like dessert, we say no we don’t have room for it. At this point, both of our plates are pretty much empty. Waitress disappears again. We are waiting for the check to be brought to us, so we can pay and leave. After about 10 – 15 minutes, our waitress shows back up with the check and a free dessert. I finally figured out what he name was. We didn’t want dessert. We just wanted to pay and leave. We each eat a couple of bites of the dessert, because oh wait it is hot outside and we can’t take the dessert with us or it will melt. Finally she comes back and gets my card to run it, so that we can leave. Overall, Food is great here! However, our waitress was awful. We will go back to Outback, just not this one. Our waitresses name was Carren. Oh and a manager did not come by our table one time during this entire meal.

Love out back but this was a poor experience. I’m not going to bash on them but I travel weekly and visit many of there locations. I do not recommend you visiting this location. Waited 35 min, was not busy. For chicken and broccoli… I have worked /managed at many restaurants in my day but this is definitely unexceptionable.

NEVER go to this location. I am a huge outback fan, and have been to this location twice and had a horrible experience. The first time I went, the service was bad and they got our order initially wrong, but at least when we got out food it was good. But last week I went there for lunch with a friend and had a horrible experience. The waiter got my friends order wrong twice and had to bring him new food. By the time he got his food, I was almost done with my meal. My meal came with chicken that was cold. It was obvious that they had partially reheated the chicken up in the microwave or something. It was rubbery and gross. The worst part of the lunch was the blooming onion. When you think of outback, you think of a blooming onion. This one was shriveled up, over fried, the coating had drooped off the onions. It was disgusting. I can’t believe I didn’t send it back. Moral of the story, the Franklin Outback it great, but never go to this one.

I would give this a 0 star but that is not an option. I called 4 times just to put my order in because the phone was off the hook so I called again and got transfered from the host station. I put in my order which included a ground fed burger with fries and my 9 oz steak with baked potato, broccoli and I paid for an additional side of asparagus for 3.99. I get to to the restaurant and I have to go inside because of the renovations they are doing to the togo side the 2 guys at the host station are too busy talking to each other for them to notice that I am standing right in front of them until I said«excuse me I have a togo order.» I got home and I have no broccoli which would now mean that I have 2 sides and not the 3rd that I got charged for. I called them and they will not refund the charge but will have no problem requesting my personal information to send me a free appetizer coupon in the mail to my house because they do not refund. I claim that it is fraud because they charged me for something I didn’t get and won’t give me my money back. Such crooks I will not be back and neither will anyone who doesn’t want money taken from them. By the way the steak was rare not medium and was extremely fatty and disgusting.

I am disappointed that Outback has changed their ribeye steak and seasonings. Remember the awesome steak seasonings they used to use a few years ago? Then they changed to this wood_grilled method, which has no flavor at all. Today my ribeye was a thin, tasteless slab of meat, unlike anything Outback used to serve. Disappointed does not even begin to cover how I felt. Our waitress insisted that is how all their steaks are now. I am back searching for a good steakhouse, because I won’t go back to Outback.

Had a great meal here tonight. Christopher was an excellent server and the meal was awesome. Always way too much to eat, but it was all very good. If you don’t want to wait eat in the bar. We enjoyed the atmosphere.

Outback is generally always a decent meal, so this is really about the service we had. Last night we had a very pleasant server, and it just seemed to make everything else that much better. It was very busy when we arrived, with a 20 minute wait, so we were starving by the time we sat down. Immediately our server came over, and I’m so sorry I don’t remember, but i’m pretty sure his name was Michael… Younger, brown hair… Great guy. Very attentive,… I even forgot to order something after he placed our food orders, and he went back into the kitchen to make sure i got it… The kitchen actually ended up forgetting,(BUTITWASMYFAULTINTHEFIRSTPLACE)… but he tried to take it back and make it right several times, but i’ve been in the food industry, and didn’t want to be THAT girl, plus… It was completely my fault for forgetting. A really nice manager came over as well and he even tried to make it right, but i was totally ok without. And the food was just as good GREATSERVICELASTNIGHT!!! Thank you!(7÷29÷15)

This is my go to steakhouse since we have no good steakhouse in town. If I can’t get me wagyu beef or Kobe steak. I will settle for outback. I love there bone in ribeye. But today they ran out of bone in ribeye and they suggested for me to get the porterhouse. Well this is the first time out of 50 times I’ve been here and they cook my steak wrong. I asked for medium rare and it came out well done. Normally if I go out to eat at a steakhouse and they can’t cook my steak right the first time, I would never return. But I can’t be to mad since out of 50 times I’ve been here, this is the first time if happened. I also love their coconut shrimp. I can say I’m a regular cause I hardly need a menu. I come in and get the same thing every time.

Very surprised this Outback was good. I was greeted by Shana and she took great care of me from beginning to end. The food was fast, hot and good and the service was excellent. Prices are a little high for ribeye, but you get what you pay for which had very little fat. I recommend this place.

I was on my lunch break and it’s always important that I can get in and order quickly. The service was good, received my order quickly and the food was hot and very tasty!

Really not impressed at all with this place. We got there right at opening so there was no wait at all. They seated us in the bar area which was fine. We started with the bloomin onion. It was SO greasy that the breading wouldn’t even stay on the onion. It was a gummy mess. I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich and my husband got the classic cheeseburger. He said his burger was fine, nothing to brag about. My prime rib sandwich was not good at all. It was incredibly dry. I ended up taking most of the meat off and just eating bread and cheese. It also got busy shortly after opening and there wasn’t enough staff to cover the tables. We ended up having terrible service on top of the not so good food. We won’t be returning.

In the area for business reasons. Walked into Outback hoping for a good meal. Was seated promptly, then ignored for at least ten minutes. Never once had a server come to take a drink order. So I walked out. I made sure the hostess knew I had left for lack of service. No second chances.

I’m not a big fan of Outback in general and usually only eat there for special occasions. I feel like they don’t have any chicken options other than the Chicken on the Barbie. I’m not a huge lover of beef or seafood so chicken is my go to. However I do enjoy the blooming onion and the cheese fries as appetizers. Anywho. We went this evening for my dads birthday and there was no wait like most evenings. The weather was nasty so that probably prevented a lot of people from going out. Our server was very attentive and checked in frequently. We did have to send a dish back because the sauce on the pork was overly sweet and not that complimentary to the dish. They were very prompt in re-firing the dish without the sauce and the manager(Shane I believe) delivered it to the table and extended his apologies while letting us be aware that if we encountered any other problems to not hesitate in bringing it to his attention. We received a complimentary ice cream and had a couple drinks taken off the bill for our wait. Our bill was $ 68 for three people and was very reasonable in my opinion. Overall we had a good experience this evening and would definitely return. I just hope to see a few chicken dishes added sometime to give diners a few more options but I understand as a steakhouse they want the beef to be the main star.

Consistently GREAT service! Wallaby Darned’s, Ahi Tuna, and the Victoria Filet are a MUST! So sad to see that RJ is no longer the proprietor after so many years. The newly remodeled restaurant is BEAUTIFUL, though, and this will always be my favorite Outback!

My experience was wonderful. The only thing I could say that was less than desirable was the wait. However, my friend and I sat at the bar and had 2 for 1 drinks and some cheese fries. Our server was excellent and our food came out quickly even though they were busy. The steak I had was excellent.

I can not say I was blown away nor unhappy with this Outback so I am giving it 4 stars. Prices of your normal steakhouse. The place was packed last night when our family of four arrived, we were told there would be a 15 – 20 minute wait and that is exactly how long we waited, which we were ok with. The lighting in this place is dark. Unless you are at a table where the light is dangling above your head, all else is poorly lit and a bit dark for my taste. Food was amazing. Steak was perfect, burgers good, and bloomin onion was great. Service was a little bit slow but that was to be expected with the amount of people dinning at that time. My main complaint is that the floors in this place were so slippery. I dont know if its the shoes we had on or what. The kids and I were wearing new shoes and were sliding all over the floor. I literally was walking on the floor like i was walking on ice. My fiancé who was wearing a dress type of shoe was not sliding at all. It was weird. I seriously thought I was going to fall, it didnt help I had a 8 year old tugging on my arm trying to keep her balance too. Maybe they need to be cleaned of buffed I dont know but it was very uncomfortable. All in all this was a great place to dine, just wear your slip proof shoes!

Absolutely terrible. We sat for 45 mins until our food actually showed up and when it did it is easy to see that they don’t use the same meat as in the past. The strip was tiny and weak and not worth what I had to pay for it. I used to love Outback but those days are gone.

I have been searching for a place like this for a min. I had a Nice Ribye. Cooked over a wood fire. It was hot and picked up the wood flavor well. Very well season. Just a little on the pricey side.

Waited about an hour for a large party, which isn’t unreasonable. However, after waiting all that time, we found out they gave our table away, so we had to wait longer. Unacceptable. Why have the little buzzer things if you’re not going to use them? They gave us free appetizers, but still screwed up the meal. I ordered my steak medium-well and it came out on the very edge between rare and medium-rare. Some parts were close to raw. My sister ordered hers well done, and it would have been easier to eat shoe leather. Our server was very nice, but the food was well below average… even for a chain restaurant.

Outback steakhouse… I’m Australian mate! I normally don’t bother with chain steakhouses any more because their prices are higher but the quality of meat has declined significantly. However, Outback was giving away a million steak dinners and I managed to snag one. 2 stars for a free meal? How petty could I be? Very. The coupon only covers a 6 oz Sirloin and one side. I asked about drink specials and was told it was 2-for-1 for some weird Wallaby drink(pass) and a dollar off well drinks. A dollar off! Yeah! Let’s get wasted! I was also disappointed to hear that Foster’s is considered an «Foreign» beer. My ass. I ordered a Yuengling, the free dinner, added a portion of Mahi-Mahi, and a small side salad. Beer and bread were brought out first. The beer was OK. I could have stopped at a local gas station and picked up a six pack of Yuengling for the price of one glass, but hey, whatever. Bread was chewy and dark brown like it always is. I think it’s rather sweet, but to each his own. My waitress was OK. Nothing spectacular. She took a good long while after she brought my beer to bring me water, but other than that I can hardly complain. Salad was brought next. It just looked revolting. I just saw a small portion of lettuce drowning in dressing with a couple of tomatoes and croutons thrown on top. I asked the server to take it away and she complied. Let’s get on to the main event. The MahiMahi tasted of burnt rubber and had a faint propane smell. I ate one bite and then left it on the bed of fried rice it was served on. The 6 oz steak itself was pretty decent. It was definitely cooked on a flattop instead of wood-fired like the coupon claimed, but it tasted fine. It was on the rare side of medium rare but I was pleased with that. Potato was small and lacked toppings. All in all, my meal would have cost over 20 dollars if I had not had the coupon. This was not a 20 dollar meal by any stretch of the imagination. Next time I’ll go to Slick Pig or Demos if I want meat in Murfressboro.
