When we arrived the atmosphere was very inviting. We ordered the calamari and it was delicious.
We had the special… the worst tuna — dry and tasteless! The lettuce on my salad was wilted and the broccoli flowers were yellow. Over $ 100 for 3 people. A big disappointment. There are so many great places to eat in this area. Don’t waste you evening here!
2 stars is generous but we did like the atmosphere and appetizer.

We stumbled on this place driving around and we really enjoyed it! The food was great and their drink specials were amazing! I recommend the Mojitos!

To say that my boyfriend and I had a unbelievably delicious meal here would be an enormous understatement. For happy hour, we got $ 4 mojitos which would incredibly refreshing. We got calamari appetizer because the thai chili sauce seemed too good to pass up. I’ve never had calamari with anything else except for cocktail sauce and the thai chili sauce was delicious. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with a side of the mac n cheese and my boyfriend got the blackened salmon sandwich. Both were absolutely amazing. The crab cake was tender and delicious, and the blackened salmon was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was spot on. I highly, highly recommend this place!

This place was awesome! We stopped here with family and friends for lunch ordering the Shrimp Salad, Grilled Chicken Breast Salad, Grilled Salmon Salad, and Grilled Pimento Cheese and bacon sandwich with home made chips. Everything was fresh and tasted great, w our waitress was awesome to us as well. Casual dress. Can’t wait to get back! Great Job Salt Water Creek Café!

This was a good place to eat tonight. Lots of different choices on the menu. They seem to have a good choice on anything you want.
I started out with a side Caesar Salad. The lettuce was fresh and the croutons were very good. They brought out some very tasty bread also. For my entrée I got the Grilled Shrimp with Fresh Tomato and Basil served over Angel Hair Pasta. It was a very light dish, very tasteful and filling.
I was pretty impressed at the food quality and prices. The service was a little bit slow.
I’ll definitely be back a few more times in the next few months.

I give them five stars but with one reservation. I had the crab cake Benedict. It was excellent but the only problem was the lack of Hollandaise! I didn’t notice it until half way through. The grits cake was fantastic. Service impeccable.
By the way, I was with a group of friends and just glancing around, no one had Hollandaise on their various Eggs Benedicts.
Will not keep me from returning but I will be more aware.

Awesome. Great for families or a date night. Good food and good service. Love the extra touch of a carafe of water on the table and a bread with the meal.
She crab soup was amazing. And they allowed my husband to special order his salad– not many places at the beach will take special orders.

Great restaurant nestled in Murrels Inlet! Ambiance and food are always great! Would recommend going on Saturdays when they have their Lobster special. Make sure you call ahead or go early since they only order a certain number of them!

This used to be our favorite restaurant. We have been coming here for years. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend it. Service is terrible with bad attitude.
The fried green tomatoes & okra are end pieces & so much batter that the flavor was unrecognizable. Asked for bread to go with salad & was told they don’t serve bread for lunch. Really? Why?
The only good point of the visit was the homemade blue cheese dressing.
I am sorry to say this is no longer a fav.

Portions of fish are small. Crab cakes are small
And overcooked made without lump crab meat. Waiter spent time telling us about the nightly special only to end the description with «unless you called in a reservation for the blue plate special it is not available». Huh? Drinks for three dollars are the highlight. Not on or near the water. Potato chips with cheese and bacon overlooked with far too little diced cheese or artificial bacon bits. Skip this app. There are too many other places to eat to go back here.

Delicious food, excellent customer service and a casual, comfortable, modern atmosphere.
The Crab bisque was so flavorful and had a lot of meat! The creaminess of the soup was impressively smooth and not too heavy.
Our waitress was very quick, attentive and knowledgable.
They kindly accommodated our large group of 45, gave us enough staff and everything was smooth and fast!
You can tell everything is homemade… From the soups, to the salad dressings and maybe even the complementary bread! So good! That’s a big deal since so many restaurants take short cuts.
I highly recommend, no– I insist! You must get the shrimp and grits appetizers! The grits are grilled into patty form and the shrimp is stupid good! The sauce is yummy too :) I could have eaten two of these apps by myself!

I would NOT recommend this place. The service was extremely slow.
We sat down at 630pm and didn’t even get our order in until 715ish…
We finally received our food an hour later and it was not good. I ordered the mahi tacos and they tasted old like they had been sitting under the heated light for a while. This happened to other people at our table who ordered other entrées
Overall it was not the best dining experience and we will not be returning.
But I will say this. the owner/​manager came out because he noticed we were dissatisfied and gave us two complimentary key lime pies. It was a great gesture and I hope the pies are better than the food.

Nice casual dining in Murrells Inlet. They were pretty busy but our waiter did a great job keeping up with our dining experience. I had chicken over spinach. Chicken thin & crispy with great flavor. We also ordered pizza which was a great thin crispy crust, loaded potato skins topped with homemade pimento cheese. Would recommend for couples or families. Very reasonably priced & comfortable atmosphere & knowledgeable staff.

Woke up dreaming of crab cake eggs Benedict. After extensive hangover research I found this place online. Arrived and was informed they only serve my precious crab cake Benedict on Saturdays. Our sweet waitress told the manager of our almost Harold and Kumar journey and he allowed the kitchen to make our crab cake dream come true. They delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Great food. Classy staff. Thanks!

This place had some great food and service! A tiny place just off the highway (look for SWC instead of the full name or you’ll miss it!). Waitress was very friendly and the food was served quick. The Chicken Feta wrap was tasty as well as the Cuban Panini. The homemade chips tasted just a bit on the over-​toasted side, but still good with the dip. Atmosphere was on the blander side as the tables were just plain wood chairs and simple table, and also had some booths.
Overall a very good place for a tasty lunch!

We brought our toddler here for dinner (we also ate). The service was great, very quick. Our food was delicious and served quickly. Sorry, the review is a month after our visit so I don’t remember precisely what we ate.
The restaurant was ¾ full, but we were sat immediately and served expeditiously. We are sure to return.
