Went here based on reviews and all the pictures of the Rueben subs. I called in my order to avoid long lines, and sure enough they ran out of sauerkraut so I ordered something else. I just can’t fathom that You’re a sandwich shop and run out of the staple to one of your top sandwiches annnnd during the middle of day? My thing is, they are obviously good for something Bc I showed up with the line to the door. When I told them I was there for pick up, they hadn’t even started yet. There were only two employees staffed during the busiest part of the day. So when I actually try my sandwich(turkey sub Bc the guy on the phone said that was the next most requested) I was so disappointed. It was falling apart, he was chinsey on the banana peppers and barely any tomatoes. On top of that, I ordered their cheddar soup which was their soup of the day. I had one taste and threw it away. I want to give them another shot but they would need to improve on being more staffed and quality control with how they train their workers to make a sandwich.

I ordered the turkey avocado sub and it was delicious. All of the ingredients were fresh and the potato salad was great too. The sides like Mac salad or potato salad are a buck and you get a good amount of it. The gal who was working was friendly and professional. Sandwiches are a decent price for the size and quality. I will be back !

This was the absolute worst Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I’ve eaten in my life. I don’t normally complain because I know everyone can have a bad day but that’s how bad this was. I’ve lived in this area for 12 years and had never eaten at «Benny’s Place» until today. I now know why and I will not be a returning costumer. Yes it’s a little cheaper than«Jersey Mike’s», but you get what you pay for. From now on, I’ll drive the extra block and pay the extra dollar or 3. I’m a not exaggerating when I say there was literally more onions than meat and what little meat on there, was cold! I called the store express my displeasure to the on duty shift supervisor. She was more than polite and offered to make me another sandwich. I didn’t like driving back, and politely told her«no thank you“‘ and to please not serve that type of garbage to their future costumers.

Mmmm. I love it so much, every time. Benny’s gives you Jersey Mike’s goodness at Suckway prices. I just devour their sandwiches. I especially recommend Benny’s Club and Benny’s Special, and wash it down with the Italian Sausage. They also give a discount with the Smartcard so look for that. When I want a good sandwich I have Benny’s, Jerseys, and Rock and Jenny’s, and WhichWich. Those are my Four Horsemen. I don’t need to go anywhere else.

Madison and Krystal were awesome they gave us the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life. If you go to Murrieta you have to stop by the sandwich shop because they have the best food ever and the customer service is spectacular. If I could give the shop 10 stars I would.

Really enjoyed their Italian sub and husband enjoyed their meatball and sausage sub only complaint is all the stuffings overflow out of the bread because it’s such a small roll! Friendly service would still return

I’ve read so many reviews about how this place is mediocre or they gip you on what you get. That is the opposite in my opinion. This is my 3rd time here, still have yet to be disappointed. Each time My sandwich is overflowing with veggies, meats, and cheeses, everything is fresh and delicious. I read something about subway being cheaper, yea, but have you ever heard of the phrase ‘you get what you pay for’? Because you do. The quality of subway doesn’t even come close to Benny’s. I will continue to come here for sandwiches rather than a bland, lack luster, chain owned sandwich shop. Oh, might I add. The employees are so sweet, their service is great, and to me. That alone is worth so much more.

Loyal customers here. Benny’s is the ONLY sandwich shop my family frequents. Cal Turkey is outstanding! Friendly owner and staff. Clean eating area. My only complaint is that the past 4 – 5 visits they’ve been out of their punch cards :(Pretty sure we’ve lost a free sandwich because of it. Boo!

My General Manager swore up and down about this place so I figured I’d give it a shot since it was nearby… I ordered a regular chicken and avocado sandwich which was about $ 8… first thing I noticed when I got it was that it wasn’t big at all… for less money, you can get a full footlong at Subway! However, I enjoy and prefer to support mom and pop businesses… but since there are so many other sandwich shops in the area, it’s really hard to justify coming back to this place Maybe their large sandwich is a little better, but for now, I won’t be coming back… sorry boss!

Fantastic sandwiches! Only improvement would be a Unilocal offer for checking in but owner didn’t know any it so gave me a %5 discount on sandwich. Friendly and clearly service oriented!

We wanted to like this place. We really did! We read the rave reviews and went on a whim. But it fell short. Oh, so short. We won’t lie. With two kids and a third on the way, keeping dining out cheap, ahem, affordable is the only way to go. When our family of four lunch rings up over $ 25, the Mrs. little heart skips a beat. And not in a good way. But the kicker is that you aren’t served this massive sandwich packed full of yummy goodness, like Submarina or Jersey Mike’s. No, no. It’s like Submarina and Jersey Mike’s had a baby, and you’re eating it. The subs are tiny. Both the Mr. and I had regular size subs — him the Turkey Avocado and I the Benny’s Special. Let me tell you. The subs are tasty. The bread is fresh and smells amazing. The flavors are flowing. But by the time you finish, you’re wondering where the rest is. Are they bringing out more? Did I accidentally order the children’s size? No, my friend. That’s it.
