The pictures here don’t do this food justice. Fresh, appetizing and a huge menu that everyone can find something tempting in. Tri-Tip, baby back ribs, burgers and sandwiches, amazing tacos that are so big you have to start out with a fork(ask for extra cheese) to eat. It has a funky décor and table and booth sitting. A walk up order and sit down delivery and an all you can eat chip bar. I loved it for lunch!

HORRIBLE service! Tri tip had no flavor plus it was very DRY just like the chicken. Beans were flavorless. I ordered chicken tortilla soup & tri tip nachos(both with NOONION/PICO), but both were full of onions. When they finally brought my tri tip nachos after a 25 minute wait with a half-empty place… they had chicken instead of tri tip. When I explained to the waiter he giggled & walked away. What kind of IDIOTS work here. I brought them up to the register & asked if I could please get tri tip nachos since those had chicken. I waited another 20 minutes… hubby finished his meal & still no nachos. I asked the waitress & she said she knew about the order & it should be coming up soon. I waited again, but I was soooo over this place by then. I will never be back to this flavorless pit filled with RUDENON-HELPFULIDIOTWAITSTAFF.

The Tri Tip Street Tacos are, omg good. Really good! Jaime my server was a joy to just talk to. Love this place. I’m sure I’ll be here next Tuesday. Lol.

After 15 years of eating at Chuy’s, bad service is something I’m definitely not used to seeing here. 4÷5÷16; who’s the new blond girl with the pony tail? She has no business working the register or dealing with any customers. No eye contact, no smile, no greeting, no personality whatsoever. Never asked what meat I wanted in tacos, never asked what sides, never offered chips/salsa and never said thank you. What are you thinking Roger? This girl is lame and makes Chuys look bad. If this was my first time going here, I would never go back due to the rudeness. Fortunately, I know better and will have to do a better job next time of avoiding the very rare, crappy employee.

Polite cashier offered me complimentary chips & salsa with my order. I never knew they had such delicious chicken bowls here! It’s not on the menu though so you have to ask for it. And the HOT salsa is to die for. Def. coming back for more chicken bowls!

This place is ok. The ribs at Richie’s are WAY better then here. You have to go to the counter to order which is lame and get your own drinks and chips and salsa. then they have tip jars out. Lol. For what?! They do bring food to the table though. The servers were very nice. The place is run down a bit too.

Chicken soup with rice and vegetables is so delicious! And not stingy on the chicken! Totally seasoned well. Comes with tons of garlic bread which looked awesome, but for the sake of calories I swapped for corn tortillas. Salsa is fresh and chunky. Definitely adding to my favorite lunch and dinner places!

I was so disappointed in the amount of tri tip in my sandwich I just had to share! The price of the sandwich and the very small amounts of meat… sad…I had brought a friend and kept saying how great the sandwich were to my friend… sad…need to step up here and make it worth the cost.

My wife and I met my buddy there for lunch, and the food there was fantastic. The salsa was incredible. When you arrive you order at the bar and seat yourself. It’s not fancy and has a more picnic bench style seating. The atmosphere is laid back and artistic. Their walls are designed with graffiti type labels, colorful but tasteful. The tri tip sandwich was out of control, the meat so tender it melted with every chew. My wife had the fish tacos and she kept raving how it didn’t taste«fishy» and how it was cooked all the way through, flaky not mushy. Evidently the drink of choice there is the house margarita because every table had a pitcher of it.

Been going to Chueys for several years and always enjoy the chips, salsa, cold beer and numerous televisions with games on. Hot wings are always good, charbroiled fish tacos are my favorite and the tri tip sand which is usually a good option, although sometimes the meat can be very dry. My only true critique is to kick out some of the loud obnoxiously drunk patrons as there yelling and screaming at games can be annoying to others. If this was solely a bar I would understand but its not so regulate better.

I think the main ingredient in their salsa is happiness. Also, their tri-tip sandwich and street tacos are basically good enough to die for. If I’m ever set up and wind up on death row, this place will officially provide my last meal.

I always got the hot wings for years. Tried a burger today. So big and juicy!!! One of the best burgers in the area!

Based on previous reviews, I dined here to try their Tri-Tip Sandwich. It was okay, though I didn’t understand the hype around it. Service was fine and the prices of food and drinks seemed reasonable. Chuy’s has the atmosphere of a local dive bar as a lot of people who were there seemed to be regulars. It’s in a high traffic area, so they get a good flow of customers.

Had to come in and try it always smells good outside. My hubby and I highly recommend this place. We order the steakhouse burger and ribs. A little pricey but well worth it. Sinceriously coming back!

I love this place. It’s as close to a hole in the wall as I like to get. You walk in and have to order your food at the register/counter. I think it’s hilarious that other reviews complained that they were handed/offered menus then didn’t know what to do and just sat down waiting. Read the signs people! They don’t deserve a low star rating because you’re dumb. Ok back on track… I almost always order the two item with chicken and tri-tip which is so good I don’t usually deviate from that. The tri-tip is always flavorful and tender since I have to cut it with a plastic knife and the chicken is so good I don’t mind ripping it apart with my fingers. It also comes with tortillas, pinto beans(put BBQ sauce on them and they’re even better) mexican rice, and my favorite a cabbage salad so good! It’s a vinegar based with cliantro, tomatoes, and other yumminess. They have a chips and salsa bar with 3 types of salsa and super spicy carrots. The place itself is super laid back, lots of TVs for sports, a full bar, a few arcade games, and an outdoor patio. When it’s busy it takes a while to get a table, and then a while longer to get someone to clean it. Oh and the bathrooms could use some work that’s why I’m only giving them 3 stars. But as far as food goes it’s awesome!

I have always been a Chuy’s fan. They have great tasting mesquite tri-tip and mesquite chicken. They chicken is my favorite being packed with flavor and simply delicious. They tri-tip can be a bit chewy at times, but also has great flavors. I have tried each protein on their sandwich, tacos, and salad and all are on point. The price is a little higher than some might expect; however, for solid tasting food $ 15 isn’t a bad deal at all. Finally, this location seems to be being run by new owners and they are doing a much better job than the previous management. Everyone is now friendly, helpful and probably more importantly the food now seems to be very constant. I for one, am stoked to see it! Keep up the great work Chuy’s!

Walked in after hearing about the place from a friend that its been awhile and it was super good. I’m used to Mexican down in El Centro what I’d call«real mexican» Walk in takes awhile but a waitress comes up asks if we would like a menu. Hands us two when there’s 3 of us. Not so much of a problem. then we stand for about 5 minutes and I guess we should seat ourselves. We sit for about 10⁄15 minutes and some of the employee look in our direction and don’t even ace knowledge us. We eventually left and they lost probably a 40 $ sale.

The tri-tip and chicken combo! Yum!!! Awesome casual place for the whole family. Excellent food and fun atmosphere! The picture is AFTER I couldn’t eat anymore! ;-) This food is everything my husband likes. He loves the vinegar coleslaw. The seasoning on the tri-tip gets better every month. If a person is giving a negative review about Chuys, they are not looking for what Chuys is all about.

If are a new to Chuys don’t make the same mistake I made. When you walk in be sure and place your order, and then sit down. Otherwise you will be waiting indefinitely. . Ok with that said the cheese steak sandwich with fries I got was pretty good and the get em yourself chips and salsa bar good. Nothing in my opinion was exceptional. It basically was what I expected from this chain restaurant. Nothing all that special, it wasn’t bad, but nonetheless I won’t be back. Happy eating!
