Love this place! The only place in the area that has regular authentic Irish music. They also have good food and a fantastic draft list. It is very family friendly so people are not shy about bringing kids in during the day to listen to music or have lunch. The entire staff and bartenders are always super nice and customer oriented. I reserved a table the other night for my family to watch a soccer match and we were over 20 minutes late. They had a packed restaurant and they still held our table. That is first rate service. Blair was our waitress that evening and she was fantastic. Great pub!

Just went here for the first time. My wife had the jameson pasta and I had the meatloaf. The food was so delicious that i can’t put it into words. We each had a beer to go with the meal and a cheesecake desert to round it off. Our waiter was the best waiter we’ve had in the longest time. Can’t remember his name for the life of me. But he had a decent size beard. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere, the food, and the drinks were all top notch. I will reccomend this place to eveyone.

The Shamrock is amazing. Great food and beer. I love the environment. Our server, Sean with the black necklace, was attentive, informative, and really made our night. We will be returning many times.

The Shamrock Irish Pub is the best! Came here because of the high reviews and was not disappointed. Food and drinks are really great and everyone was so friendly. Shawn Southers was the greatest server. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food. His recommendations were right on. Can’t wait to come back.

Great place in a great location! The staff here is extremely friendly. So friendly, they remind me of customer service in the south, where everyone says hello and smiles at you. It makes you feel like you’ve been a regular for years, something that’s very hard to find in California these days. I try to stop in here, at least once a week, for a black and tan!

Last night was my first experience at this wonderful pub. My friend Kim has shared her excitement about this awesome place for several months now. It’s the people, great food, extraordinary service that did it for me. We shared a Hot Reuben sandwich, it was so delicious! My friend had a special variety of 6 fancy little beer vases, in array of different beer flavors. She really enjoyed them. There were two very personable waitresses that stood out and made our night, Connie and Kelsey. Kelsey was our waitress, she couldn’t have been more attentive, sweet, thorough, friendly, courteous, helpful and kind. We met Connie as we were leaving, but she was also sweet, and made time to say hello and spend a few minutes with us. I’m not used to going into a restaurant and having people really genuinely be true and real! Paul the owner was extremely personable, friendly, and went way out of his way to be present and helpful, making our dinner experience very enjoyable. I will return, I heard there was great entertainment here too… I wasn’t much of a spectator for the fight that was on last night at the Pub, although it did fill the restaurant!

I was very surprised on how the service has gone down hill. A year ago all was perfect. Today very disappointed. I ordered a to go 18 buck fish & chips at 11:35 am I got there at 12:00 and it wasn’t even placed up for order. There was two people in the Friday crowd. No wait but couldn’t remember one phone order. Not Good.

Came here on a Monday night for a friend’s birthday party. It was a nice sized place with plenty of seating. I ordered some«pub nachos» which I guess were really fries but that was my fault for not reading the menu well enough. They were fantastic though, only thing is that I wished there was a bit more toppings on it. The prices were also pretty reasonable. It just so happened to be karaōke night and it was pretty cool that any age could be there and get a chance to go up and sing. Oh and our waitress was on it! There was a little mix up with the bills but she handled it very quickly! Nice place to go with the family or just group of friends.

I went here in the evening with my family including my two sons who are 3 and 1. I wasn’t sure about a pub and kids being a good match, but it was awesome! Good was really good and different from a typical bar. I had the whiskey burger which was extremely tasty, with some spice and lots of flavor. The place was loud, but not too loud where you can’t talk. They had all the kids stuff, such as a kids menu, crayons, etch-a-sketch and super tall kids chairs. The kids never sit still long at restaurants which usually has us keep them home, but the noise and live Irish band kept these boys entertained for more than an hour and allowed us to enjoy our food and cold beers. Our waitress and waiter were there to get us a new drink before they were gone and were very friendly. We will definitely be going back and I recommend the pub to anyone, whether you are just wanting a beer or want to get out and have dinner with the kids without worrying about them causing a scene.

Food is pretty good. Beer selection is good. They have some harder to find beers on tap, which is always great in my book. We went on a Sunday evening, and service was so incredibly slow. Three of our four had our meals and were halfway through eating, while the other meal was not there yet. No apology, or anything else. Pretty crappy

I was in recently to catch up with an old high school friend. This place definitely captures the Irish charm of a classic Irish pub. We ordered the eclipse and the stout beer to start. I had the kale salad with the mustard dressing which was truly delightful. My friend ordered a chicken dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive and took time to talk with us and invite us back for music and entertainment. I was impressed with the food and the service and am looking forward to another reason to go out that direction either at lunch or dinner or maybe to catch some live entertainment. They also offer specials for football on Monday’s and Sundays. I am looking into planning a Monday night football dinner there with friends. Definitely this place has the ambiance and charm you are looking for in a classic Irish pub. I’ll be back! Thanks for a great lunch.

May the road rise to meet you May the wind always be at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again May God hold you in the palm of his hand Irish Blessing This is the vibe I get emanating from this place of music, food and fun. The inside of this restaurant has a stage, bar area and seating. Just love all of the genuine Irish decorations, classy place! No stage entertainment when we came for lunch. But I’d like to come back for the live entertainment, have a feeling it would be awesome. Ordered the chicken apple salad with a glass of beer. Loved the combination of chicken, apples, carrots, raisins and Irish cheddar cheese with the delicious vinaigrette. Such a wonderful mixture of sweet, savory and creamy goodness. Since they have such a large selection of beer, I decided to just ask the waitress. She knew all about the beer and helped me pick out one I would like; Blue Moon Belgian White. Really great story about Graham Judge and Mancunian Paul Little. Such an inspiration!

This place doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to food, service, and atmosphere… Even after a few years now of being in business, it never fails that they’re consistently packed on Friday and Saturday nights with their live entertainment. I even recently had my bachelor dinner here with my groomsmen and we all had a good time. Why only 3 stars? Well, because I purchased a 3rd party Dealpalooza voucher that they’re not willing to honor after it expired because«they lost money» on the promo… It was $ 15 for $ 30 worth of food and they’re not even willing to accept the $ 15 I paid for it. I asked Dealpalooza for a refund and they said it’s in the contract that they’re supposed to accept it. Whatever… he said, she said, it is what it is. I was hoping to use it for my bachelor dinner, but still went without it. I originally bought it so wifey and I could try it out for the first time, but she still has yet to try it… so an updated review could follow

Today was a bad day at the Shamrock for me. We came in and picked our seat. We were greeted pretty fast by a waitress and she took our order within ten minutes. Then things went downhill. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food. We were starving. The restaurant was fairly empty besides the large table next to us that had to wait just as long if not longer. At least their waitress approached them ahead of time to apologize for the wait and explain why. Ours did not. When we finally got our food she said sorry for the wait but we just wanted to eat. Everyone enjoyed their food for the most part. My cousins burger was overcooked and my tortillas for my fish tacos were tough. The fish batter was also borderline too crunchy. The chipotle sauce was good and tangy however. One of the owners came in from his day off and apologized to us right as we were paying. Unfortunately the guest I was with were still not feeling it. Because Ive been here before and never had a problem I will still come back.

As much as I would love to give The Shamrock 5 stars, a few things keep me from doing that… The young brunette lady who was working at the hostess stand tonight was not around when we first entered so, we just stood there looking at one another, wondering when someone would approach us. As she walked up, we told her that we had a 6:30 reservation. Before we could ask her for our preferred seating(a booth), she proceeded to answer the restaurant phone that rang, and stayed on the phone as she unsuccessfully attempted to walk us over to a table without even asking us to follow her, nor checking to be sure we were even behind her. We were still standing near the hostess stand. She finally got off of the phone, and showed us over to one of the tall pub tables. We then asked for booth seating, and walked over to one that looked good to us, and sat ourselves down. More detailed info. on the great parts our meal below; but my one piece of fish, from my fish & chips, was so bad that I couldn’t even begin to finish it. The batter, and frying of it so perfect, but the actual fish was awful. It was so dried out, it was like pieces of chipped wood! I kept taking pieces of the fish out of my mouth and putting them on the paper. Not sure if the fish was overcooked, or frozen before cooking, but it was bad. After trying about half of the piece of fish, I was done with it. Our waitress even assumed that I was still eating, because so much fish was left. The only reason that I didn’t complain, was that the rest of our food was so delicious! I should have though. As glad as I was that they offer sweet tea to drink, it tasted a little bit old, and not at all freshly/recently brewed. Especially after a mostly fantastic meal, the dessert selection here is completely uninspired & such huge let down! Cheesecake, brownie with ice cream, and an «Irish» bread pudding? Thinking that the bread pudding might at least come with a delicious Irish whiskey sauce, or something to make it a stand out dessert here, we asked our waitress what makes the bread pudding«Irish»… she smiled, and looked up, thinking… I said«it’s served here, in an Irish place?» and she nodded and said that it could be English bread pudding, for all she knew. In other words, nothing special to set it apart from a dessert from anywhere else. The good: the service we had at our table was amazing. I wish that I would have asked for her name. She was blonde, straight hair, from England,(I believe). She was fantastic, and deserves high praise from the management! The chips with curry to start… we would go back just for these! They were outta site! The Shepard’s(cottage) pie was sooo tasty.(I say cottage pie, because it is made with beef, not lamb.) The chips, and the slaw that came with the fish & chips were also really good! The slaw had a few little bits of fruit in it(could be raisins, currants, or cranberries.) A mostly perfectly delicious meal, for sure! We’ll most definitely be back some day.
