I came here at 130pm on a Friday and there was no one here I don’t know why. The décor was amazing and has a clean feeling but when we came in we where told to sit anywhere with a white Togo menu , The waitress came and asked us for the order I asked for a kebab plate and she said we don’t have it and then I asked for a chicken kebab plate and she said we don’t have it so I asked what do you have and she only named the appetizers and everything else she was out of or did not have !!! Why do you open your doors if you don’t have your major plates !!

We always stop by the Aladdin restaurant when we at the Myrtle Beach. The food is great and the owner is very nice and welcoming. We’ve been going to Aladdin restaurant since it has opened and always have a great experience there. My favorites are: crepes with chicken, mushroom soup, lamb pilaf, chicken dumplings and cherry dumplings. Will be back in September — October!

This place is awesome! This may be the best kept secret in Myrtle Beach. The food was great, the price was exceptional and the ambiance was nice.

What an interesting place! We walked in and I was a little concerned because we were the only customers in the whole restaurant. It turns out that we had excellent service from start to finish with no competition for our server’s attention! The service was only matched by the quality of the food! Our party of four each ordered different plates and we shared a bit so I was able to taste it all! The Greek salad was good enough that I ended up eating it without a drop of dressing and big enough to share with full servings for 2 – 3 people. The Dolma was so delicious and the Falafel plate was another hit with some yummy humus, pita and veggies! My daughter had the pierogies which she loved. I ate one with the sautéed onions. It was excellent! My husband really enjoyed his avacado salad. I’m not a fan of avacado so I didn’t taste that one. The baklava was a good finish to a meal that was satisfying but not heavy. I would go back to eat here in a heartbeat

Wow… talk about the worst single experience at the restaurant. I was so looking forward to going to Uzbek restaurant«Aladdin» since we went there three years ago and everything was delicious. I especially craved their pilaf and spicy tomato salad. It was so good. Alas, the degree to how much once a wonderful restaurant went to the toilet is remarkable. We came in and there was just one party at the table. We got some paper take out menus with an explanation that all other menus were taken. Hmm. That should have been the first red flag. Then we proceeded to order. If it reads straight out of a Soviet comedy I assure you that every word is true. –Pilaf(THE Uzbek staple, every self-respecting Uzbek restaurant should have it on any given day) –We don’t have Pilaf. –Beef Stroganoff. –OK. 20 minutes later(while there is nothing at the table to pass the time): No Beef Stroganoff. The other table ate all Beef Stroganoff. –O-key, what do you have? –Stuffed cabbage, Manti, Chicken Tabak. 20 minutes go by. We are served tiny plate of hummus, soft drinks and beer. No, make that a baby beer because the bottle is tiny. 7 oz. The waiter comes back: –Sorry, our cook didn’t prepare anything. Huh?!? We ask how long REALISTICALLY do we have to wait for any food. –30 minutes or you could go to the restaurant around the corner. There is nothing because the cook didn’t make anything. We really should have been closed today. –The check please. -$ 27 for soft drinks, small plate of hummus, baby beer and a load of BS. I am amazed that they charged us anything at all. Frankly, I was too stunned or we should have walked out. What a shame…

Don’t be fooled by the outside. Excellent food, service, and nice atmosphere(newly decorated). The Greek salad was huge and one of the best I’ve had. My husband ordered the lamb and rice specialty(Uzbek pilaf). We both shared, because our meals were so good and large. Our server was so attentive(NOT in an uncomfortable way) that he even brought my husband a napkin on a serving tray when his fell on the floor! Great place if you’re looking for something authentic that isn’t touristy in the Myrtle Beach area.

The hummus and Uzbek Pilaf(lamb with carrots and rice served with a very good tomato and onion salad) were most excellent. The chicken kebab was just a little dry and a little under seasoned. The meringue cake was good and quite interesting. The cherry pierogis were tasty. The service was a little slow. Over all it was a great place for a family to relax and get away from tourist-frequented restaurants.

We were looking for something different to eat at the beach. Through Unilocal we found the Aladdin restaurant which serves middle eastern food. For supper we started with the Hummus, which was very smooth and well seasoned. For the entrée we had the Uzbek Pilaf and Grape Leaves. Both of these dishes were cooked perfectly and expertly seasoned. The pieces of lamb in the pilaf were so tender that they cut with a fork! The grape leaves were stuffed full of ground beef and rice were nicely done with a beautiful presentation. For desert we had the white meringue cake which was very flavorful and so light. The staff was very friendly and their service was excellent! We will definitely eat here again!

We love this place so much we at there 3 nights in a row! So many good things I don’t even know where to start! Make sure you go here! It’s hard to do, but save room for dessert. The meringue cake was so different and light & perfect, and the cherry perogies were so good we got some to take home for tomorrow.

This place has great food. Not your typical middle eastern taste. Every thing there was good and surprising. Uzbek food.

The food was really good. I had the Uzbek Pilaf and my wife had the lamb kabobs. Both seemed fresh and were good. We also ordered the eggplant caviar with bread, again, good. I took an order of hummus to go as we had a bunch of the bread left over. I’m just very puzzled by the fact the we were literally the only people in there. Not a single table beside ours… and this was 7:30 on a Friday night. It doesn’t add up at all, good food, good service, and completely empty, weird.

I was doing laundry until late across the street and it was too late to get decent food in the off season as most restaurants close by 9. I noticed that Aladdin’s had just closed at 10 and walked over to see if I could get anything to go. The lady running the restaurant was nice enough to let me have the Uzbek pilaf to go as it was the quickest dish since she had made it earlier. The rice pilaf was excellent with nice spices that weren’t overwhelming and chunks of lamb and very tender carrots. I ate the entire generous portion along with the tomato and onion salad. A bargain at $ 12.00 for both!

Delightfully delicious! My wife and I tried the stuffed cabbage, the pilaf rice dish, and the pierogies. All of it was extremely delicious, and very tasty. We most certainly will return for another visit.

Someone get Gordon Ramsay Because this place is a classic Kitchen Nightmare I really feel bad for this place because the waiter was really nice and tried her best to make the experience great but no amount of effort could save the food. The chicken was not fresh and the pickled vegetables were awful. I really want this restaurant to succeed because of the waiter’s efforts. If the restaurant re-evaluates itself maybe it might be a success.

As a vegetarian, it’s sometimes a challenge to find good food at the beach. But I went to this place twice in a week. The falafel platter was excellent – accompanied by a tasty hummus, tomatoes, avocado and fresh pita bread. We also got the pierogies, both the potato and sour cherry. Neither was fried, but both were wonderful. The potato ones came with just the right amount of grilled onions on top, and the cherry were the perfect combination of tart and sweet. We also ordered the lavash, a warm and delicious thick round bread. My only criticism was that it came with margarine instead of olive oil or real butter, but honestly – it was good enough to eat plain. The service was also pleasant and friendly. I regret that I had no room for dessert, but I did sample a few Ukrainian candies they had at the register. I wish I could get more! In any event, we plan to return when we head back to MB in the fall.

Loved this place! It was after 10pm(sign said opened but operation hours said closed At 10) we got lucky. The hummus was amazing, smoothest I’ve ever had. The Uzbec pilaf was amazing, the most tender lamb I’ve experienced & I loved the tomato salad it came with. Hot Dolmadeš were amazing as well. We took leftovers back to the hotel & it was still amazing cold the next morning! I highly recommend this place I want to get to go food before I leave town it’s that good!

Wonderful homemade food and nice service. Soups are delicious and always fresh. My personal recommendations will be pelmeni, uzbek pilaf, dolma and staffed cabbage. Cakes are really good too. I will recommend this place.

One of the most authentic dishes I’ve had in a long time. Quality of the food and friendliness of the staff makes you feel at home. Very delicate menu with large portions. The best shish-kabobs on the East Coast hands down. Went there at least 7 times while I was staying near by hotel on business trip. I was shocked that it didn’t have enough reviews.
