Where do I start!!! My boyfriend and I are in town for the weekend. We both called for over an hour to ace an order, thinking they were busy we decided to just ride and pick up the pizza. As I was walking in I was still on the phone calling the number that was listed. After asking if there phone lines were operating correctly the«OWNER» stated she was«Told» by her manager to not answer the phone. MIND you the phones weren’t even ringing. The Owner’s wife became RUDEAS ______… Needless to say we request our money back… Sad thing is the owners wife wasn’t even phased by the whole altercation.

I give a three star because of service and quickness. The pizza was not very good for the price. I love god father’s pizza but this can only be described as a bad imitation knock off. My wife said that she would of rather had the gas station pizza, and I would have to agree.

Really good pizza but a bit on the pricey side… $ 35 for two pizzas(one cheese one pepperoni)

It was a dark and stormy night in Myrtle Beach, and although we originally planned for a waterfront dinner experience, hubs decided we should get pizza instead. After cruising down the Avenue for a few miles, while simultaneously trying to read reviews we stumbled upon this pizza joint. It is located in a strip mall between a laundromat and few other places, and although looking like it was stuck in a 1987 time warp it was spacious, the floors and walls were clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. We stepped up to the counter to place our order; jumbo 3 meat pizza(22.99), an order of cheese bread(4.99) and an order of wings(7.99). They apologetically informed us that they were out of wings, so we got potato wedges instead(1.79). They also had a small salad bar that was fresh and clean, it included iceberg lettuce and the basic toppings, macaroni salad and fruit salad. We waited about 10 minutes before they called our number and everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The crust was light but thick, minimal tomato sauce, excellent cheese to meat ratio. Much better than we were expecting it to be and at a great price. There were six of us and at 2 slices a piece we were stuffed! We will definitely visit this place the next time we are in Myrtl Beach!

As written in other reviews the building is older therefore mostly rundown but, still felt the place was clean. And the Pizza was the Godfather pizza I remember good and will come back again. My one complaint was the sign said fresh salad bar which was not to be found.

To wifey and I… this is the old Godfather’s Pizza. As best as we can recall, it is original… but…it has been a long time! We got the meat lovers pizza… and it was fantastic… not as thick as Chicago, but thicker than New York style. A great combination of flavors and good pizza crust!

Went to Godfathers Pizza on a Saturday afternoon. It was around 11:30 am so there was only one other family in the restaurant when we arrived. By the time we left, an hour later they had at least 5 more customers. The pizza was delicious and we even ate the crust. We decided to get the small pizza because it was only two of us and figured that would be more than enough. The pizza tasted so good that we wished we had brought the medium which was 8 slices. When we walked in we were sort of shocked because we expected them to sell single slices of pizza and they did not. We order the hot stuff and it took maybe 10 minutes for them to prepare it. The pizza cost about $ 15. The dining area of the restaurant was not the greatest and could use some updating. There was a picture of The poster from Raiders of the lost arch I think with Harrison Ford over our table. The table clothes were checkered red and white or green and white. The table clothes were worn in several spots. The bathroom was clean and neat but could use updating as well. The salad bar was a little bit smaller than I thought it would be. We did not order the salad bar so I am unable to speak on the taste of that.

I love Godfather’s but it’s not for everyone. The pizza was as good as it’s always been. The place was clean though somewhat rough around the edges. Staff was brief in my conversations with them but not rude.

I don’t understand all the haters. obviously you didn’t order the combo or super combo which is where this place really shines. something about that mix of toppings along with their sauce is what makes the experience what they are known for. this place is only open about half the year and has been a myrtle beach staple for over 30 years. that doesn’t happen by accident. the thing I hate is that this is the closest location to Charlotte, NC where they all closed a long time ago. look past the dated décor and order a jumbo combo and thank me later. A+++++++

Found a coupon for this little pizza restaurant, must say I am very surprised with other ratings. Our pizza was delicious. The sauce was very tasty and the crust was very thick(for all you thick crust-lovers!!). The restaurant on the inside could go for a makeover, as the place is dimly lit and looks a bit depressing. The staff members also seem pretty tired, but, nonetheless, our food was called out in a timely manner, and we enjoyed it. My rating of this place reflects the interior décor and the staff members, which were not the best. Otherwise, the pizza here was very tasty and priced very well. Maybe try take-out?

Had a large pizza, Humble Pie. It was good, not great! Similar to Pizza Hut pizza, so if you like that style pizza, you will love this!

Dam this place was a let down I love the pizza but when u have a sign that says LUNCHBUFFET ! You should have pizza ready to eat !! And not tell your customers to wait and see if more people come in at 12:30 for a buffet!!! WTF !

Wife’s favorite pizza. We have to visit at least a couple of times while we’re here. Pizza is great, décor of the restaurant has that 1980’s feel. However, salad & pizza buffet leave a lot to be desired. We just order off the menu. Staff for the most part are friendly & courteous.

If I could give this less than 1 star, I would. Salad bar was awful and consisted of bagged lettuce mix, fake bacon bits and some generic salad dressing. The place was dirty, holes in almost every tablecloth, and I couldn’t wait to leave. The pizza was mediocre, at best and in the end…$ 50 for some pizza, 2 salad bars and 3 sodas. Definitely wont return and I’d suggest you don’t waste your time and money!

Not clean. Not appealing. Cashier appeared to be «in a bad mood». Pizza tasted like frozen pizza cooked in a toaster oven. We won’t return and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We were on vacation and craving pizza and we stopped in and ordered a huge pizza to go back to the hotel room with and it fed 7 people and it was great. It was the best pizza ever. The service wasn’t that great at all, but the product was great. Next time I am in the area I will definitively go back.

Naaa. Not good at all. Actually threw left-overs away. Pizza Romana is right up the street and it’s to die for.
