We went here on Sunday 6÷12÷16 and arrived around 7:30. The place was packed and we had to wait 45 minutes but the service was excellent and the food was great. We will definitely be coming back to Biminis.

Food was delicious. Service out on the deck wasn’t the best but the great food and friendly staff made up for it.

This review is going to be based on service, food, and experience. For reference I ordered the raw oysters and a steam pot. Service: The first time I came here, the wait was over an hour long. We waited and waited, left and came back, and finally got seated. The waitress came over to us and asked my sister and I for our drink order, then went over to my mom and stepdad. That is when things went downhill. My mom asked her what are the beer specials and the waitress asked what beer. My mom asked what beers do they have and the waitress threw the menu at them and said it is on the menu. My mom looked at the menu and then the waitress let out a big sigh and said she didn’t have time, and she had to go. Pause. The RUDESTSERVICE I HAVEEVEREXPERIENCED. We waited over an hour to come here because we wanted seafood and this is how we were treated. I couldn’t believe it. We got up and left. My stepdad was too upset so he went inside and asked for the manager. The waitress realized what happened and started talking to my stepdad asking if everything was okay and that she wanted us to come back so she can serve us and she apologized. My stepdad had none of it and waited for the manager, So you may be asking yourself, how come I gave this place 5 stars after what we had just experienced? The answer is Saul, the manager. I have never seen someone so passionate about his business. He pleaded with us to come back and apologized profusely. He came over to our car and apologized to everyone for the actions of his waitress. He told us if we didn’t want to come in to eat to please come back tomorrow and he will make things better. I have never seen someone with this customer service. His restaurant is so busy and packed. The wait time was over an hour, but although he knew he had good business with or without us, he still cared about the dissatisfied customer. We ended up coming back the next day to try the seafood. Saul did not make us wait in line and he even held a parking spot for us in the very front. I literally cannot believe it, Guys, this business is this man’s child. He truly cares about it. Food: I can never complain about oysters. These oysters are imported from Louisiana and they were very tasty. We ordered two dozen. The steam pot was HUGE. We saw many people ordering this so we decided to give it a go. We were a party of 5, but my little brother ordered something off the children’s menu so we were able to all enjoy the steam pot. Experience: Although we had an awful experience in the beginning, I had a wonderful time the second time around that made me forget the night before. I don’t feel that is was fair for me to give them a low rating for the unprofessional actions of one waitress. I enjoyed my second experience very much. Our waitress was very pleasant but also very genuine. Saul came to our table multiple times to check on us. We loved the seafood and I’m not surprised that the wait is well over an hour. I would try not to stop in during dinner hours because the wait long is crazy. I would 100% recommend coming here because the seafood is fresh and delicious. This is a great local seafood restaurant in the area that is a local hot spot!

This is by far the best seafood place in myrtle beach. I have been coming here for 15 years and I have never had a bad meal or a bad time here. Food is always consistent and amazing. Service is always top notch.

Great food and service! We had a party of 9 and only waited about 25 mins around 530pm. We were able to get the 25% off oysters and they were delicious. The grouper was outstanding. This is a must go place. Parking is tight but we’ll worth the trouble to get a spot.

I have never had a bad meal here! Their oysters, crab legs & shrimp are always fantastic! I am still working up the courage to take the infamous Oyster Shooter! I hope to be back their soon.

Food was great! Service is great. Will be a new must stop. A much better choice than any of the buffet style seafood places. Exactly what beach food should be.

This was my first trip to Bimini’s since moving here two years ago. I came here because I heard they were the best. I have a job where I drop people off at certain locations and this is the number one place. Getting into the parking lot was a chore because of traffic and the lot is small although there are signs for more parking not to far away. Upon entering we were greeted and asked if we would like inside, outside or in the back. We chose inside. It was packed and very very loud. If you want ambience and peacefulness this is not the place. We were immediately greeted by Jamison. He was a very good waiter, prompt and offered suggestions. I was with my fiancée and her 17 year old daughter. We ordered«the steam pot», calamari and mahi mahi. We also had to start the hush puppies and coleslaw. Hush puppies were excellent the coleslaw I loved but wasn’t really chilled the way I like it Mahi was really good and calamari was so so. I like my calamari fried more. The dipping sauce tasted more like spaghetti sauce than cocktail sauce. The«steam pot» at $ 42 was well worth it. It’s filled with seafood. There was 6 clams, about 6 mussels, about 6 oysters, dozen shrimp and lots of crab legs. It was all very good. So I gave it a 4 total. Is it the best in MB? Hard to beat the steam pot which is more than enough for two. I say it feeds 2−½ easily. It’s a place to definitely try and make your own conclusions.

We shared a steam pot and a half pound of shrimp for the four of us. The seafood was super fresh. The steam pot comes with two corn on the cob, two clusters of crab legs, shrimp, clams, and oysters. It gets crowded quickly(awesome food) so plan on an early supper of you don’t want to wait.

Bimini’s food is good. The menu is a bit sprawling but there isn’t much variety when dissect it with a discerning eye. Mussels, oysters, clams, crab and about four varieties of fish– and a lot of fried items. It’s a very casual place, and the décor inside reflects the concept– nautical motifs and a lot of wood. Seafood is what they specialize in and Bimini’s delivers on the payoff to the customer. The oysters were very fresh and clean, and the price point was very fair. Crab cake app was a bit underwhelming in complexity, but the flavor/taste was actually very good. Blackened Grouper delightful– seasoned perfectly, great flavor… accompanied by a huge portion of fries, hush puppies and cole slaw. Too much fried starch sides. I would opt for rice or veg if faced with a choice again. Blackened Mahi Mahi was again very satisfactory and excellent price point. The service by Ashley was fantastic. Knowledgeable of the entire menu, great communication and prompt with attentiveness. I really enjoyed dining here and if you find yourself in Myrtle Beach in search of good seafood, I highly recommend you try Bimini’s.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner tonight, the place was pretty busy but we got right in. it may be a bit noisy for some, but they offer outside seating as well. Full bar. We ordered a few appetizers(half dozen raw oysters, Jack cheese stuffed shrimp, conch fritters), all fresh and delicious. Split a pound of snow crab with hush puppies for dinner, cooked perfectly, crab firm and sweet. a few were on special for happy hour. Our server was attentive and quick, others from the staff pitched in to clear dishes as we tore through the food like a tornado, lol. An all around great dinner experience, and the price was very good at less than $ 75, with all that food and a couple of drinks each.

This place does not look like it would put out the amazing food that it produces. To start, they give you a complimentary basket of hush puppies. I don’t even like hush puppies but I love Bimini’s hush puppies! I wanted to try a little of everything and unaware of the portion sizes, needless to say I was stuffed. We ordered the conch fritters, stuffed shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, mussels, oysters Rockefeller and my hubby had two slimy looking oyster shooters. We ate outside and the weather was perfect! I loved every bit of it. I will be sure to eat there again, before we leave!

This place hits the spot in terms of seafood cravings. They have everything from crab legs to peel and eat shrimp(just order the ¼ lb shrimp). Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. There is a wait during busy times, otherwise it’s not a bad wait to get seated. It’s no boiling crab in California though!

Why not go to a seafood restaurant while you’re in Myrtle Beach?! Recommended by the shuttle bus driver from the resort, we tried this restaurant. There were fancier and pricier restaurants around, but he really wanted us to go here. It didn’t look too great from the outside(divey, old-fashioned diner look). It didn’t look too great when we stepped inside either(plastic garden chairs, etc.), but food was great. Oysters, shrimp, etc. they tasted very fresh. Their menu was very extensive, too. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Our waiter explained to us all the questions we had about their food. When you are in Myrtle Beach, you must come here to enjoy seafood!

This is a hole in the wall that has one of the best oysters I have ever had the privilege of eating. SO and I arrived about 7 on a Saturday and the restaurant was packed. The hostess was pleasant and gave us a buzzer to let us know when the 45 minutes wait would be over. Fortunately, our wait was closer to 30 min and we were seated in Debbie’s section. She immediately greeted us and took our orders: app: –dz. raw oysters: Hands down some of the best oysters I have ever had. They were clean, no grit(or pearls,. awww), large and just succulent. — shrimp basket: these are a bit larger than baby/popcorn shrimp and came with fries. Although they are deep fried, they weren’t greasy at all. Pretty good! –crab legs: SO said they were good, but not the best he’s had. 1 order will come with about 3 bunches and is $ 24.95 –3x combo: I couldn’t decide so I got sauteed scallops, conch fritters and fried oysters. The scallops could have been cooked a bit longer. The outside didn’t have that nice char to it and the middle was still a bit chewy, but the flavors were good. The conch fritters on the other hand was a bit overcooked and looked like well done hush puppies. However, once you peel back the exterior, it’s edible. The oysters were ok, but I much prefer the raw ones we had earlier. Debbie was on point with service. She was juggling at least 4 – 5 tables but yet always made a point to rotate between them all, refilling drinks and clearing plates. It was like she was a mind reader, everytime I even thought about asking for something, she was already there and with water, napkins, etc. I feel like, we should clone Debbie and put one of her in each restaurant across America. She really made our dinner that much more enjoyable.

Casual is putting it politely. Your sitting on lawn chairs, I know thats not the worst thing ever, but I prefer a proper chair sometimes. Crab was alright, but the butter was… oily? It was like something was added to the butter or it was purchased from a restaurant supply store. The hushpuppies were tough. My friend asking if the oysters were sweet or salty and our server gave her a look like he had no idea what she was saying and walked away. Certainly not the worst meal we’ve ever had, but nothing amazing enough to bring us back.

If you have ever been to either of the Carolinas, you know that seafood is taken quite seriously in these parts. My family comes to Myrtle Beach, SC at least once a year, and Biminis Oyster Bar is a staple. Nothing starts a vacation like one of their signature oyster shooters(delicious, fun, and only few bucks). If the novelty of an oyster shooter doesn’t do it for ya, the menu will. Steam pots are the best and a must! This place welcomes tourist and locals alike… The staff is always friendly and laid back. The wait can be insane so be ready for that and parking is very difficult during peak hours… I dont recommend this place for a large impromptu party but it can be done! It is a loud and energetic place with a full bar and outdoor covered patio. despite the chaos that can occur when getting in the door, it’s completely worth the wait!
