Fat Tuesday

Love Fat Tuesday’s! I love frozen drinks and when you ask for them at bars in Pittsburgh, you get a groan and a face. So, when I go to Myrtle Beach, I am always excited for the pleasant attitudes over frozen drinks. Fat Tuesday’s is even easier! Miami Vice is my favorite menu option. I have never gotten an extra shot because usually 2 Miami Vices are enough for me! This place is the second stop on the Tuesday Pub Crawl, which we have done several times. It’s a good time! I like to sit on the outdoor patio and people watch! The inside is sort of grimy, bathroom as well, but the drinks are great!

Love this place. The drinks are so cold the glass has ice on it. 190 octane is my favorite, with a little strawberry on top. Yum.

Nice customer service. Great view and ambient.

You can not go wrong going to Fat Tuesday’s, my Favorite place at Broadway at the beach!!! Ask for Niki, Monica, Jim, Ricky, Michelle, Oz, or Any one of the Awesome bar staff, they can create Fun, or direct you to the Fun !!!

Fat Tuesday’s is just like a New Orleans daiquiri shop with a bunch of flavors and the staff is nice and knowledgeable to the drinks and combos. Every time we are in Myrtle beach this is the go to spot. The happy hour is 4to8.

Fat Tuesday’s is my favorite daiquiri bar in MB… probably elsewhere too. The combos and flavors are the best (amaretto-​pineapple is a must try). They also have a great add-​in of a test tube shot of 151 which always makes for a fun time! Prices are great and location in Broadway is right in the thick of celebrity square entry!

Place has turned into a complete dump…
A group of 6 of us went and all got frozen drinks except myself who can’t drink alcohol because I’m pregnant. So my husband went over to wet willies and got me a non alcoholic frozen drink and brought it back to fat Tuesday’s for me… He was instantly stopped and told we cannot consume that even outside… I explained to the guy I can’t drink alcohol and he had no compassion…
This is the LAST time we will ever go ourselves or bring others with us to Fat Tuesdays in Myrtle Beach. That place can keep its sticky floors and continue to be a dump…

I love fat Tuesday’s. Always the best daiquiri in town. My personal favorite is the piña colada… And you can oder extra shorts, and make it as strong as you would like. If your in nola, get the New Orleans spiced rum, can’t be beat… just sayin …

When you want to light a fuse that can’t be extinguished, this is the place to start your evening. Wait, wait… better yet; «When you absolutely, positively want to put a wrecking ball in motion that can’t be stopped, this is the place to start!»
I’ve watched bartenders serve first-​timers drinks with a glimmer of pity in their eye… as if to say, «You sure you can handle this!?»
Look, this place does one thing. They cram the most alcohol in a cup that’s allowed by law. Grab a 190 octane with an extra shot (or two if you just want to be done) and let the mêlée begin.
Don’t say I didn’t warn ya! Located at «Broadway at the Beach» on the corner of Celebrity square. A dank little spot that serves it’s purpose.
The one thing I don’t like about this location is, you’re trapped there for the duration of your drink. You can’t leave and walk around with it as you can with drinks from the other bars in Celebrity Square. Could be due to the location or perhaps some law against travelling with rocket-​fuel in a cup.

Great service! Nice bartenders. The drinks are pretty cheap. I recommend the 151 Hurricane. Only downside is when it’s packed, it’s pretty difficult to get a drink moreso because it’s a small place. Still doesn’t stop me from going for the cheap frozen drinks. Laid back ambience. Younger crowd definitely.

For the second night in a row, Fat Tuesdays has been like The Walking Dead. There may have even been tumbleweeds running through the place.
Highlights: the bartenders were nice girls, and they had really great deals on drinks.
Lowlights: the Touch Tunes jukebox does not have the mobile feature as advertised.
In general, not that great, but it does the trick as a bar.

Drink was good, but honestly the play was a let down. It’s a run down bar you can’t leave there without smelling like beer that’s for sure !
Id say go across the street to wet Willis but that’s just me

Service was really good, Benny (?) let us try like 6 samples before my friend decided what he wanted. He was also super friendly to everyone else at the bar.
Their happy hour is extensive, well-​priced, and the daiquiris are hella good, don’t be afraid to try the combinations they offer before you buy.

When we asked the «bartender» what her favorite flavor was, she said «tequila» and was not helpful at all in selecting a flavor. It was unlike any daiquiri bar experience I have ever had.
She continued to be rude when we finally tentatively ordered flavors and didn’t get the extra shot (since she was being so nice to us and we were really looking forward to spending time drinking there) but saying under her breath to a coworker that we didn’t order shots because we were «wusses»
We went to drink elsewhere. At a real bar. With real bartenders. And honestly, with Wet Willies across the way, step it up.

Best Daiquiri Bar I have ever been to hands down!!! I have been to prob 30 different daiquiri bars in my life and none compare! Let me explain myself #1 this is the most chill bar in celebrity circle because everyone goes to all the other bigger name bars! #2 they have not only the best flavors but the strongest drinks! #3 super affordable drinks and super cheap happy hour specials! #4 Very nice bartenders that are very helpful! #5 Always 21 and up and mostly locals!
Let’s be honest most people go to daiquiri bars to get drunk while having great tasting drinks! Most places you go you almost have to get sick because of the weak sugary drinks that are overpriced but not here my friend! This is my place for life!!! My favorite drink is a large 151 Hurricane with an extra shot!!! $ 8 bucks Oh and after 2 I am feeling amazing! They do extra shots of 151 alcohol for $ 1. Jello shots for $ 1 super strong and big! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Get there a bit early grab a table or seat and the bar and just enjoy the best daiquiri bar in Myrtle Beach SC!!!

Gotten pretty sh*tfaced at this place many times and it’s always fun. Love all their different shots and drinks :) I would recommend spending your money at this bar

Whenever we stop in at Broadway, Fat Tuesday is where to start the boozing. Although the sugaring hangover can be unforgiving, they really get the party started quick. I typically get going with a Small 190 Octane with an extra shot. Why the small you ask? It’s the only one that comes in Styrofoam instead of a plastic souvenir cup. I know Styrofoam isn’t the most environmentally friendly booze vessel but, I have no intention of taking home my cup and it keeps my hand from freezing off. I wish they still had the Red Bull flavored one but they told me once it had to do with uniformity across Fat Tuesday locations. If it wasn’t served at every other location then they weren’t allowed to sell it at theirs… womp womp waaaa.
If you’re underage, stay away from here. Although it’s annoying if you forget you’re ID and evn though you look 30+ you’re kind of screwed. I must commend them though because if your ID wont scan, you don’t get in. The bouncers are ruthless about this. I guess you could go to Señor Frogs.
The inside isn’t huge but if it’s nice out there are plenty of extra tables outside. The bartenders are fast and generally nice folk. Definitely worth heading here compared to the the other frozen drink spot.

One of the many stops when visiting my my two friends in South Carolina. Have gone to other locations in the US so I already knew what they had to offer. Order a handful of drinks and shooters for the four of us. From what I remember that night the drinks were flowing, the drinks were cheap and it was great vibe in Celebrity Square. I think the table next to us got it right when they looked at their table, look at ours, then said, «okay, they know how to party.»

On a night of drinking at Broadway at the beach, this should have been our first stop! However, we went to Señor Frogs first and then a couple other places before we made our way to Fat Tuesdays. By the time we arrived it was well after midnite and the place had a decent amount of people at the bar and at the tables outside.
Our group of four found a couple seats at the bar and looked over the drink menu and specials. I am a 25 year old woman obsessed with Spongebob Squarepants and they had Spongebob shots for $ 1. I didn’t know what this was, but for a buck I had to try it. We ordered one each and the bartender handed me four filled jello shot containers with lids. I looked at him skeptically and he laughed and told me to just try it. Inside were pineapple chunks that were soaked in alcohol and then frozen. DELICIOUS.
Since this was near the end of my night out, I just ordered a water and my cousin and I people watched the ridiculous drunks of Myrtle Beach. The other two continued to drink and they each ordered 190 Octanes — the strongest drink Fat Tuesday has to offer. I tried it and it was ok… a little too strong for me. It’s made with orange juice and grain alcohol. I definitely couldn’t drink a whole one by myself without throwing up immediately.
Fat Tuesdays has a bunch of different flavored daiquiris and if this was our first stop, then I would have liked to try the Spiked Lemonade and Peaches & Cream with some more $ 1 shots! It’s definitely a good time and their outdoor patio offers perfect view of Celebrity Square and everyone that walks by it. Next time, this will be my first (and possibly only) stop on a night out at Broadway.
