This restaurant has great food and drinks, but the waitress was unfriendly, borderline rude because she kept huffing at us when we asked for refills and would not let us use a coupon for free fried pickles because we were not buying 2 entrees even though we had 8 people who each got our own meals and an order of nachos totally nearly $ 200.

Came here with a group of friends on a Friday night. We were visiting out of state and another friend arranged this get together so I did not get to read the reviews on this restaurant prior to arriving, which I wish I had. Our server was very friendly, but that was the only highlight of this restaurant. The prices are overpriced for the quality of food that you get, which I guess we should have expected being in the heart of Myrtle Beach. The food was very unappetizing, though. Greasy and salty. We ordered the loaded nachos, which very scary, upon arrival. For the meal, my husband and I shared the tacos and I could only eat one. The meal came with three tacos and mexican rice. The rice was not mexican rice, at all. My friend ordered the same tacos and couldn’t eat them at all. My husband did not feel well that night after having eaten majority of the food we ordered. I recommend looking around for a better restaurant in the area.

Everything we had was delicious. Great beer selection, tasty burgers, and in my opinion, delicious fried Mahi tacos. The seasoned waffle fries are so good that I enjoyed them even though I’m not a fan of waffle fries.

Went here a few days ago while on vacation. We stopped to have lunch & drinks. Although the patio seating & our waiter was very nice the food is NOT. It’s mediocre at best. If anything, I liked the waffle fries. The burger I had was not seasoned at all, nor did the waiter even ask how I wanted it cooked. My sister ordered a medium rare burger but ended up getting hers well done. The drinks were also bad and we sent one back. We tried to get suggestions from our waiter but he said «everything is good». Maybe he’s new & doesn’t know the menu very well but I think an experienced waiter should be able to make a couple recommendations. He was very nice though. I think this place would be great if they improved their food quality & alcoholic beverages. The location is great, such a shame the experience wasn’t. Overall, I give two stars for the location, waffle fries & our friendly waiter.

Awesome atmosphere! Great food and drink selection! Good time Charley’s is a great place to go if your looking for good service, food and all around fun experience. My waitress, Daina, was very sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. We stopped at the bar due to a slight wait and were greeted by Stephanie. We ordered a recommended shot of «sex with the bartender». Overall best restaurant at Broadway in our opinion!

Bad food for the price, under staffed, had to refill our own drinks. No very friendly for being in the south. Would rather throw my other coupon away then risk eating there again. Don’t waste your time or money.

Well we were seated right away but it took awhile for our waitress to come. Service was very slow and the food was OK. The waitress also seemed to be in a rush and not very warming. Not impressed at all.

Well I am not sure where to start the wait tome was about an hour that made me believe that this place would be great.
But i guess we all were fooled by the same thing, the reason for the wait was horribly slow service and the serving staff sucked.
Well i ordered a black label and i got it in a plastic cup (pic attached) never ever in my life i have had scotch in a plastic cup when i asked for a glass i was told that they are out of it. The waitress spilled my wife’s drink and then we have to wait 20 mins and ask again for a paper towel to wipe it.

This was our last stop of our bar crawl at Broadway at the Beach. We didn’t order food so this review is based on drinks, atmosphere, and service only. However, all three aspects were fantastic! Drinks were generously poured, yet the alcohol: mix ratios were perfect. Atmosphere was casual, fun, and comfortable… I can see myself spending an entire night there. Service was attentive and very friendly! Matt was our server and he was super cool!
We had a great visit here and will be sure to check it out again next time we’re in town! Let’s just say ‘Good Time” Charley’s is worthy of their name!

Great band!!! But literally 2 second pour on my whiskey ginger, they have these «stoppers» on the bottles that you can literally see only hold half a shot, not cool for 5 $ a jam… Beer special was legit though.

Pretty good burger joint, I enjoyed it, although the bill for my family of 6 came to 120. I did think that it was a bit high for what we received. A good meal, decent service, but nothing special, I very seriously doubt that we will dine here again…

Delicious food with a laid back atmosphere and décor. There was a nice variety of burgers, which the kids had. I myself had the fish and chips which was excellent. My husband and I had fruity spirits which were a little weak but tasty. Not exactly budget friendly or cheap but not terribly expensive either. Would definitely return.

Good food and good service. The chicken philly was outstanding. The shrimp tacos could do without the guac. And the appetizers for the price were relatively small. Not bad experience but nothing to rave about.

This place is ok. Went here in April on a Friday for lunch. There was indoor and outdoor, covered seating. We sat outside. The bartender was making drinks and having to go out and wait tables. It took awhile for her to get to us. She was friendly though.
Their Cucumber mojito was good (not sweet at all, which is the way I like it). My husband had a beer. I had their ranch chicken wrap and my husband had a reuban. We both enjoyed our meal… but our bill was more than $ 50 for lunch time portion, basic sandwiches with fries, and we each had one drink. Probably won’t go here again. I expect more gourmet/better quality food for the price.

Came here for fathers day, as we were visiting the area. Was not crowded, but service was a bit slow. We had the fried pickles for an app — they were the best I think I have had anywhere to be honest, and im picky about my fried pickles.
Small selection of beers on tap and in the bottle. Lots of TVS if you want to watch golf, or any games, and they are viewable from just about every seat in the place.
The seasoned fish sandwich with fries was spot on for the craving. I had the cheeseburger pita with seasoned fries. It was delicious. Juicy and delicious, with out a huge bun that you usually get with a burger.
Delicious food, service was slow, but worth a try if you are in the MB area.

I was craving wings and it seemed like Good Time Charley’s only had wings. The food was pretty average but it was pricey. My family and I started off with their buffalo Parmesan garlic wings. They were yummy! I should’ve just ordered a plate of my own. The bacon cheeseburger and waffle fries were split between me and my dad. It was enough for both of us that we didn’t have to get individual burgers. The fried chicken burger my mom got wasn’t great. It was basically a piece of fried chicken and lots of cheese. My sister was pretty disappointed with the shrimp scampi. I definitely don’t think it was worth $ 20.
We are just visiting Myrtle Beach so it was just a random decision to go here. I don’t think we had a «good time» with the food.
