Good service, very flavorful food. Drinks and water are served in slanted glasses, great addition to the avian was of the restaurant!

Excellent in all aspects. Great dining experience… Nice atmosphere, excellent service and most importantly superb quality of food! Try the Buffalo Meatloaf /Chicken and Dumplings. Have tried many dishes those 2 are my favorites. Although I have been pleased with every dish I have tried. Not a local but here on business every month and always have at least one meal here.

Great food! The Lobster Pot Pie was definitely what the dr ordered on a cold, rainy night. Wish they weren’t out of the seafood charcuterie but the pretzels cheese fondue were great. Super soft!

My husband and I were visiting Myrtle Beach from out of town and wanted a nice dinner off the beaten path of the typical tourist. We hit the jackpot! We found a very nice restaurant with great food which was fairly priced. Our server was helpful in explaining the menu, which is a bit unusual. There are a variety of food choices, but also options in portion sizes. We ordered off the«small plates» section on the menu and had plenty to eat after our hot pretzels. I ordered the chop salad with grilled chicken. Nice smokey flavor to the chicken and the salad had a good spice kick to it. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which is modernized by treating the grits more like polenta. We shared bread pudding for dessert. There is a good beer list and a few specialty cocktails are available. It was an excellent meal. The reason I am not giving the restaurant 5 stars is because of the noise level. The tables along the wall where we sat are very close together, the restaurant was nearly full, and I had to strain to hear my husband speaking from across the table.

Wouldn’t recommend this place. Food was rich not in flavor but in choice in butter. And the price didn’t justify one dish. I tried the seafood jambalaya and the chicken biscuit. The waiter was awkward and unfriendly. I gave it 2 stars cuz the seafood(2 pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of scallop) in 25 $ jambalaya) were fresh. Would not recommend it

Passed by it many times never seeing it. So glad we found it!!! The food was perfectly prepared. Fried green tomatoes were excellent. Scallops seared to perfection. Great craft beers on tap. This is a definite revisit.

My cousin and I stopped by for dinner on our way home from a day trip in Myrtle Beach and it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is a bit hard to spot and looks unassuming from the outside, but it was busy inside. Definitely had the casual gastropub vibe for sure. We got a booth near the kitchen and I promptly ordered a craft beer(which I didn’t enjoy very much, but that’s on me for not knowing my craft beers). Our waiter was super knowledgeable and really nice. We started with fried green tomatoes with lump crab meat, which were SO good. Possibly my favorite dish of the night. The tomatoes were acidic and the batter was nice and light without being too greasy. The crab salad was also perfectly seasoned and it was just a really yummy app that wasn’t heavy to start with. My cousin and I both really liked this dish. I opted for the meatloaf because of all the fuss, and it truly was very good. I’m not a meatloaf expert so I honestly have no idea how it compares to other meatloafs, but this one was super lean and really carefully seasoned. The mashed potatoes were so fluffy and the veggies added a touch of sweetness, along with the glaze. Everything was cooked perfectly. My cousin had the catch of the day and seemed to enjoy it as well, but I forget what it tasted like so I can’t speak on that. Overall, very very solid pick for a meal in Myrtle Beach, especially because there’s not too many good restaurant choices here(those tourist traps doe). I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the food if you choose to visit or the selection of beers!

I agree with the other customer above. JUSTGO! SOOOOGOOD! I was visiting this week on business and happen to stumble across this place — extremely and pleasantly surprised to have a place with such amazing and creative presentations and delicious and inventive food! The duck confit nachos were fun and tasty! The chop salad was fresh and delish! And the chicken and biscuits with sweet corn brûlée was out of this world!!! The chicken was so flavorful and tender and the gravy was so tasty! That dish was really cool! The décor and ambiance isn’t the most upscale, but it’s a comfy place and the staff is super friendly! Enjoy! Prob the best restaurant/food in Myrtle Beach

We ordered the ribs which were great. The duck nachos were interesting. But they only came on 5 chips which seemed pretty small. Nice service.

Second time I’ve had to pleasure to dine here. If you find yourself in Myrtle Beach it’s a must try. Had the bison meat loaf with a blackberry chipotle glaze. l and the chopped salad to start. Simply amazing.

Great food and perfect service. Sit at the bar! The grits with shrimp are delicious, the scallops are melting in your mouth and the fried green tomatoes with crab are beautifully balanced. All sourced locally. Jimmy at the bar takes real pride of his beer selection. Great place to be.

1. Mike, the bartender and more, is fantastic. Sit at the bar if you’re trying to go in and have a fun experience. He’ll make some good food and drink recommendations. 2. Check drink specials. They’ve got good ones. I had the house white blend. Tasty. 3. Duck confit nachos. Ribs. Burrata. Pork belly. Order those. You guys should trust my judgement, unless you’re not a foodie and have bad taste in food. Then… you should still trust me. 4. It’s 40 min from where we’re staying, and we’ll be back tomorrow, possibly. The food is that good.

Finally made our way there and we were NOT disappointed. Started with duck nachos and fried green tomatoes. Yum but not done… Blue nosed snapper was fish of the day with shrimp ragout. My bro devoured it and said it was amazing. I had the clam chowder which was very good and contained a dozen little necks! My wife had sweet red peppers stuffed with crab and the plate was CLEAN. This is a rare experience Service impeccable and super friendly. Will definitely go back and HIGHLYRECOMMEND.

I was looking forward to dining here for about a year. Finally made it back down and went Monday evening. The atmosphere was lovely, beautiful colors and artwork made it feel quite cozy. The staff was friendly and we got a great seat. I ordered the Clam Chowder and was informed they were out of it. So I took the waiters advice and tried the Five Onion Soup. It was quite good, filled with many flavors and fresh croutons and greens. I ordered Arancini and was disappointed at the over all quality of the dish. The Ricotta balls were filled with parmesan cheese. Deeply over fried and salted. Not to mention there were only 3 of them on the plate. I tried my friend’s Duck Nachos and they were also a bit salty.

This place probably is better than my experience. I came for a dessert and they really didn’t have anything other than cheesecake. For a gastropub I thought they would have more options. I had the lobster mac and cheese. It was fair. The drinks were good. Meh. Just my overall thought.

We made a return trip to Fire and Smoke Gastropub during our recent MB vacation and it was just as excellent as we remembered! Service was still spot-on(friendly, attentive, professional) and the food was fantastic! We even tried a few different items this time… Grilled Caesar Salad(WOW, Awesome!!), Pork Chop(Excellent!), and Lobster Mac & Cheese(VERY good!!).

The food here was amazing. How about a wonderful cheeseburger with bacon jam, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and hand cut fries for $ 12. How about an amazing BLT with fried green tomatoes, that same bacon jam, and lettuce with the same handcut fries for $ 9. How about a Fort Collins Major Tom’s Pomegraite Wheat for $ 5? The server was very helpful and attentive. The décor is very cool. The only issue we had was that the sandwiches were a little too greasy to the touch. They glistened with oil or butter. I had to wipe my hands between bites, get the picture? But it was worth it, these were major league yum worthy!

There’s lots to like about this restaurant. It’s a nice departure from the plethora of tacky, mediocre family-sized eating troughs up and down Ocean Blvd. And that could be their Achilles heel. Can the area sustain a hip eatery with a forward thinking chef? I hope so. Since I was dining alone I sat at the bar which was lively but not raucous. The bartender, Joey Cheesecake, was both efficient and engaging, plus he makes a mean Ol’ Fashion [he may also have an ownership stake]. I dressed casual(shorts) which was fine, but dressing up was right in style, too. Thought I was in a nice little place in downtown Charleston. I ordered two offerings from the small plate section of the menu: pork belly($ 9) and Lobster Mac-n-cheese [$ 15). Both were delicious and IMO worth the money. My one criticism is that the pork belly could have been seasoned more; but, I’m nit-picking. Tip: make reservations, order an Ol’ Fashion and enjoy. You’re at one of the better places at the beach!
