Food came fast, that’s the good news. It wasn’t awful but not good. What really got me was that it was $ 23 for 2 small drinks, 2 hamburgers, 1 hot dog and fries. The fries were overlooked. My daughter loves hot dogs but refused to eat hers after 1 bite. The burgers were ok. Service was not friendly Won’t be back.

This is a straight up drunk food situation only. I’ve been in the past when I lived in the area. Recently I found myself up in Myrtle for a visit and my hotel was a block away. After an evening of celebration… I knew we’d end up at Sam’s Corner at some ungodly hour. I had a burger and a corndog and it definitely did the job. Also, they have Yoo-Hoo in a can! I can’t remember the last time I had that nostalgic chocolatey drink… I had two.

Rue and Tony are the best! Came in late night and they didn’t serve breakfast but since we wanted it they made three of the same sandwiches and they were phenomenal. Thanks so much guys! You the best! Def will be back for more no doubt!

Best food in Myrtle Beach! Great quality and excellence customer service!!! They are open 24 hours, so it’s always available! With so many options down here, this was the best experience we’ve had this weekend. Now I know, whenever I visit I’ll be right here! Derrick was our cook and ye kept us laughing the entire time! And the menu isn’t extensive, but just right! Great prices too!

We were looking for hotdogs and we found em! We were looking to feed 6 people high greasy carbs and calories after a day in the sun and this was the spot! Foot long chili dog was good, fries good, giant cookie good, onion rings were awesome! The place is clean. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was really laid back. You could probably hit em up in your swimsuits and it would be no biggie. For a little burger dog place this place is the spot.

I stopped by because the sign said World Famous… being from Chicago, I know what a good dog taste like. This was not world famous. The place is clean and the food was hot, made to order. That’s why it received two stars. We got two dogs with chili, mustard and onion. It was an average dog nothing famous about it. We got a gamecock burger with slaw, mustard and onions. Again nothing special. The fried pickles were terrible. The fries were hot… again nothing special. This place could be great if the made things by hand instead of everything frozen. Oh well I tried it won’t be back. Oh, forgot… the bill was 23 bucks… should have gone to cookout!

Rude service. Food was bad. The chili almost had a sour taste to it. World famous… Maybe for the worst.

Ohh Sam ’ s Corner this was the bad food we had at Myrtle Beach. It wasn’t that good. The fries were alright, but you can’t really mess up on making French fries. The chicken wings were disgusting, they weren’t even edible.

Decent dog, cold corona(no lime???) Not 5 star but fills the hollow spot. Place was clean, open all night and is a good place to eat and sober up.

Good place for a good cheap meal, no frills but very tasty. Their hot dogs are a very good value and very tasty. The only drawback was the bathroom were in bad shape but I imagine that was a temporary issue and nothing to fret about. Over all a good quick meal!

This place is good at 1am when you are drunk on the way back to your hotel. With all the good places to eat in myrtle beach you would be making a horrible decision to go to Sam’s unless it was late night and you were hammered. Food is way below average and on par with McDonalds or burger king.

Worst place I have ever eaten in my life! This place makes McDonalds look delicious! $ 3 for a little crappy hotdog!!!

It was good. Nothing to write home about. I will say that they make fried pickles like no one else I’ve seen before. I really liked those. They only take cash was a little annoying, so be prepared. Other than that the food was equal to any other place that serves hotdogs.

Sam’s does take credit cards… and you’ll need one! The food is very pricey for what it is. Everything is a la carte and entails an up charge. For those on a budget: They will not give you a cup of water — you will have to buy a drink or bottled water. The service was bizarre — a frazzled, mistake-ridden cashier and a crazed, bombastic cook teamed to make the dining experience uncomfortable. The best value is the $ 2.50 screwdrivers. There are many good options in the area. Don’t waste $ 50 on this place! (Unless you need a quick fix after the bar)

Yikes… I have to say this place was a disaster. Dead flies in the window sill by the booth should have been a giveaway we should cancel our our order… But then the shirtless obese man resting his man boobs on the counter… Sometimes it’s too late and you are too hungry to turn back. The food was mediocre at best and took awhile, overpriced, and it’s just so dirty there. Do yourself a favor and just drive somewhere better. Convenience is not worth the cost for a hungry tourist here– unless all you want is a quick cheap drink -$ 2.50 cocktails.

Yummy nachos! And Hot Dogs. I will say I was starving after eating something that did not agree with me the previous day, so I was super excited to see this place that was 24 hours and they sold food food! I am talking Philly’s, nachos, burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, and well you get the picture. I had a foot long corn dog(oh yeah!) and nachos. My friend had a foot long hot dog and he said it was darn good! So if you want some cheap food but from a place that reminds you of an old fashioned hot dog place, please go here. And remember, it’s 24 hours!

Dropped in after getting off the last flight to myrtle. While this wouldn’t be my first choice to stop it was rather decent. Especially if you get in at 11 during off season. It’s probably your only option. The lady working was very sweet and the beer prices were a great break from DC’s prices. All in all not bad.

Tables were all dirty… lunch crowd golfers… cash only. ATM in place. Hot dog was OK. chili bland. Onion rings greasy but in a good way. Added alot of mustard and ketchup might be why I enjoyed it more. Added cheese was better on those bites. Well I saw the sign and it said«World Famous Hotdogs», that was the line and hook that got me to try to place. Key note: Cash Only Had the whole family with me and first thing when we walked in all the tables were dirty. I couldn’t find any napkins to wipe down the table and there were only 2 people working the place. The cashier was helping some other people, since you walk up to here to place your order, they don’t come to your table. After looking around I finally walked behind the counter and got a rag to wipe down the table we wanted to sit at. By the time I got the table cleaned and family all adjusted, it was the Lunch golf rush, about 20 golfers came pouring in. Well now there was a huge line of people to stand behind waiting for my turn to order. When I finally got up to order, it went pretty quickly. I will have to say that the cook was a pro. he was banging everything out with some skills and speed, I was impressed by that. Overall the hot dogs were OK. The chili was a little bland. I added a lot of mustard and ketchup, may be why I liked them a little more then I should have. We got some onion rings and they were so greasy, but greasy in a good onion ring way. You know, the kind that will stop your heart! Not sure if I would try Sam’s again. They did have a lot of diner type food there, but I wasn’t impressed with the Hot Dogs.

One of those times I wish I had checked Unilocal first. Big time. We saw the big«Sam’s Corner» billboard coming into town, and the somewhat old-time looking sign out front, and thought a retro-like hot dog stand would be fun for lunch one day, so we checked it out. The first downer was that they only accepted cash. What is it with places only taking cash in Myrtle Beach? This is the third place we came to that a: Only takes cash and b: Wants us to use their ATM? I get that they don’t want to pay credit card fees and that they want to collect ATM fees, but surely they understand that it’s to their advantage and not everyone carries cash these days, especially at the beach. It’s not the 1950s, and I’m really starting to think there is something to my mafia front story for Myrtle Beach and that they are using all these private ATMs to grab information from people. All that aside, I ran across the street to Bank of America, scored some cash, and came back. We ordered some foot-longs(two chili, two corn) and some drinks. It turns out that you do indeed not get free refills on the already overpriced drinks. More than $ 2 for a soft drink in a cup smaller than a 12 ounce can and you don’t get a refill? Rip off. I also ordered a milk shake, which was actually quite good, and for $ 3, I get something like an 8 ounce glass with… nothing extra? No old-time soda shoppe here with the extra metal cup that holds the spare drink in it. Safe to say that Sam’s is absolutely not worth it. Avoid like the plague.
