Great craft beer selection, outside patio. This is a local place and yes they do have smoking upstairs and on the patio if you are smoker. We did not order food so I can really say anything on the food part of it. The staff is friendly and really nice, it is the kind of place people will say hello to strangers for no apparent reason but just been social.

Friendly, great place for unique draft beer and good food! Bartender funny and nice guy! Excellent music by Jeff Thomas! Do regard post saying not for tourists. More of a place for local, easy, casual, non pretentious people. Definitely not commercial. Will return again and again!

Good food. Good value. Good service. I had the crab cake platter and really enjoyed it — very flavorful and reasonably priced. My wife had the chicken wrap which was also very good. This is not a fancy place by any a stretch but very comfortable. Make sure to eat downstairs unless you are a smoker.

Had a very solid experience at Maggie’s during our recent trip to Myrtle Beach. We were looking for a chill place to grab a bite and a few beers and this spot did the trick! They had a number of craft beers on tap, as well as a long list of bottled or canned beers, and clearly prided themselves on being a place that knows their brews. Our waiter, who I’m pretty sure was the owner based upon his talking about various vendors that he does business with, was laid back and made just the right amount of conversation. Once we ordered our first beer, he then made a recommendation for a similar but local beer to encourage us to try something new. He also asked us where we were from and brought us a sample of a new porter that Terrapin(sp?) Brewery just put out since he knew we could look for it in our hometown. I loved how he had a relationship with different brewery’s and made it a point to do a little marketing for them in an interesting and unobtrusive manner for the customer. Menu was mostly standard bar fare. I have to say I was really expecting more seafood items(was looking for fried shrimp, in particular) but there was a crab cake platter option on the menu, which sufficed. Mostly crab and very little filler, served with a side of delightful homemade sauce that complimented the crab nicely. A side of homemade chips rounded out the meal, which I’m always a fan of. Overall, I’d definitely come back during a future visit. Honestly, if we’d been in town for more than a few days then we’d have probably gone back a second time since it was so close to our condo!

Not a tourist friendly bar. Pro’s Our bartender was friendly. There is a nice selection of craft on tap. Beer was cold and tasted clean. Cons THISISNOT A TOURISTFRIENDLYBAR My wife and I walked in ordered drinks, and went up stairs where we were stared at like we were outsiders, which we were but it felt really uncomfortable. We walked out to the patio where a couple of guys followed after we sat down. They were again staring so to try and stop the awkwardness waved and said hello. The one with dreadlocks then proceeded to sit down and say«you sure do have a pretty mouth.» Then again just looked at us uncomfortably. Now where I’m from you would likely get beaten to death for acting like this, but I guess that’s how locals treat the people who keep their town out of bankruptcy. We finished our drinks and left. There are too many tourist friendly bars in this town to come back here and I can’t recommend this place to people who aren’t local. A star for the friendly bartender. Tall red haired guy seemed to be genuinely a nice person.

This place is a complete dive! If you want to smell like smoke and grease, this is the place for you. I couldn’t take it and left without even ordering a drink.

We were hungry and this place was open. The chicken wings and cheese sticks were good. Not really impressed with the chicken tenders. But the drinks are good.

Stopped in for some wings and buzzard dip. Both were excellent. Their wings are grilled instead if fried, which I love. They could’ve used more sauce but that’s really my only complaint. This place definitely had a local dive bar feel to it, which I also like. The waiter/bar tender was super nice and friendly. Awesome little place and apparently they have happy hour 4 – 7 everyday with $ 1 off all drinks and apps, pretty sweet!

Great selection of local micro brews on tap! We had the crab cakes and a steak and cheese sandwich with house made chips. Both were very good. The only downside was the smoke smell. Upstairs has smoking and it does find its way downstairs. The staff was knowledgeable and down to earth. We had a great time. They also have a dart board and Galaga! Can’t help but play and remember my childhood.

Best wings in town. Other food is great. Good craft beer selection. The buzzard dip is delicious, and Rick’s BBQ sandwiches are on point. It is a great bar and you often see the same folks in here.

We came here twice during our trip to Myrtle Beach. Both times were a pleasure! Everyone working here is friendly and extroverted. The beer selection is great — a nice variety of craft beers.(Ten Fidy. Get the Ten Fidy.) The food is tasty and well-prepared(the wings are grilled. This is awesome.) I very highly recommend Hurricane Maggie’s.

Came here on a fluke and I am very pleased to say I came. The bartenders were so good and paid wonderful attention to every customer, Beau and coop to be exact. There is a smoking section up stairs and As a Non-smoker I didn’t smell any smoke downstairs so that was good. They have an awesome selection of beers and some really tasty fruity drinks too. Like I said I came in as a fluke, but I will be back!

This is a great, friendly hangout! The staff is is welcoming and attentive! The cute bartender with the short dark hair has a fantastic attitude! They have a TON of IPAs if that’s your thing. If not, their selection of other tasty brews is extensive. They make some awesome specialty drinks too, such as the Moscow Mule. Refreshing and delightful! For eats, I enjoyed their wings and their«Buzzard dip». The wings are grilled, not fried. Some of the best wings I’ve had! The Buzzard dip is a cheesy, sausagy, meaty, spicy dip served with tortilla chips. Quite yummy! We caught Trivia night on a Tuesday and heard a great country-rock band on Thursday. We’re gonna pay them a visit again this evening before we head back north tomorrow!
