Food quality and service are over the top. My wife got the flounder Cagne while I got crab cake and fried shrimp. For appetizer we shared the lobster bites. Each dish exceeded expectations! Just the best! Service was thoroughly professional as well. There are not enough superlatives.

Wonderful food and great service. We weren’t rushed and the atmosphere was relaxed. Abbie(our waitress) was great and wonderful with our 5 year old grandson. Lobster was delicious. She crab soup was excellent.

Service was very good and being off season we were seated with no reservation right away. However, not impressed. Food was okay, but definitely not anything to write home about. And for the price I expected much more. We ordered lobster bites, crab cakes, the Delmonico steak, chicken fingers, and Chicken Mediterranean. The lobster bites were overcooked and the batter was bland and unfortunate the chicken fingers had the same batter. The steak was decent but should have been so much better — I have had better from outback. The only real star was the crab cake, which my grandmother loved. I probably won’t be going back. I can only imagine what dinner would have been like if the place was really busy.

We ate here during vacation. We were seated right away and the service was phenomenal. We both ordered the filet with the lobster bites. The filet was cooked perfectly and the lobster bites were very tender. I liked the sauce they were served with as well. It was also nice to just have the sides chosen for me so that I did not have to decide. The snap peas were great and the salad was delicious as well. I also enjoyed the garlic bread. We will definitely visit the Flamingo grill the next time we are in Myrtle Beach.

Loved the atmosphere and décor. Especially the vintage motorcycles. However, the food left a lot to be desired. Steak was tough and the pasta dish my fiancé had was extremely runny. Went here expecting a great birthday supper, left hungry. The waitress seemed to have too many tables or something. Took forever to get served our drinks.

Terrible food, way overpriced! Lobster bites– were disgusting, I think they were undercooked, they looked more liked shrimp when you removed the layer of batter. I actually sent these back. Crab cake sandwich –seemed like it was frozen and microwaved, it was very mushy. Triggerfish special– was over cooked and bland. Steak Oscar special, –steak was acceptable but crab on top gross. I think they buy their seafood at SAMs club! Plus they don’t give you special prices, we didn’t ask but should have. Steak special was $ 37 and fish special was $ 30 which is ridiculous for the caliber of quality.

The food here was fantastic! The staff was very attentive and catered to our needs kindly and swiftly. The only negative about Flamingo Grill is that the seating arrangement does not allow for large groups; my group had 23(I know not many restaurants can accommodate that many) but we made reservations thinking we would be together and when we arrived we were split into 3 groups. I recommend the Cajun fried shrimp or the NY strip!

We found the Flamingo Grill from a local who recommended it! We had a party of 7 and walked in around 7pm and were seated within 5 minutes. The place was very busy! Chris our server was great! Very polite and made recommendations and told us the specials. The lobster bites as an appetizer were great! All 7 of us got something different and rated our meals 5⁄5. The steaks were cooked to perfection and each meal came with your choice of potato, fresh veggies, house salad and bread. For a nicer restaurant in Myrtle Beach I thought the prices were reasonable with the amount of food you received. Some people complained about the service saying that it was slow; it’s a nicer restaurant so they try to space out the courses(that’s my opinion anyways). Definitely worth a try and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves steak or seafood for a decent price!

The food was good(my girlfriend says just average), but the pricing was high even for Myrtle Beach standards. Especially considering the smaller portion sizes. Nothing was wrong with the meal or service, but nothing stood out either. I think this place survives mostly on its history. It seemed to be most popular with seniors. If you are only vacationing in Myrtle Beach for a short time, there are better restaurants to visit.

We dine here every summer and the food is pretty good, prices not too bad, staff friendly. If you’re looking for a Ruth’s Chris type of steak this is not your restaurant, but if you want a pretty decent steak that’s certainly a step above an outback give this place a try.

Great food and service. All 5 of us enjoyed our dinners. Rich the waiter was experienced and attentive. Great place. Cool old school Vegas vibe. Prime rib sandwich yum! Grouper great! Chicken pacata. Loved! Only negative is the sound gets loud and hard to hear people at your table. Needs something to absorb sound.

Great ambiance. Very good food. Extremely courteous staff. We ordered fried calamari, peppercorn tuna, crab cake sandwich and lemon shrimp and some drinks. Service was prompt and food was tasty.

I’ve been coming to myrtle beach for years and have always seen the flamingo grill but never stopped in, after seeing the Unilocal reviews I decided to give it a try. The food was fantastic! I got filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. The lobster bites were also to die for. They definitely give a lot of food for your money so it is well spent. She crab soup was okay, but I’m a Marylander so it’s hard to get good crab soup if you are out of state. A tad on the pricey side. Décor was also pretty neat. I would have given 4.5 stars if possible — only reason I did not give 5 was service was a little slow. Waiter was nice, but we waited a while to order food and she seemed a little disorganized. If you are a foodie this is the place to go. Overall was excellent. Will definitely be back!

The meal we had was excellent. Our waitress Stephanie was very friendly. I had the 6 oz filet and the Cajun grilled shrimp. The filet was very tender as the menu states the steaks are aged for 30 days! My fiancé had the filet with the crab cake topped with bernaise sauce which she said was delicious. We both also had the she crab soup which is very creamy and tastes great.

For Dessert. Sorry, this review is for dessert only. My group decided on a progressive dinner our last night of vacation. We chose this place based on a few Unilocal reviews. Got here at about 830 on a Friday night, were seated immediately. Had key lime pie and a peanut butter chocolate pie, both were melt in your mouth. The highlight though was the after dinner martini. It was some sort of pomegranate, not too sweet. Wonderful! Jerri C was our server. She was superb. If the flamingo grill does this well for dessert I’m sorry I didn’t get here for dinner. Great atmosphere.

Last night my husband and I dined here. Our server was fabulous. We ordered the Cajun calamari for an appetizer. I can honestly say it was the best I’ve had in Myrtle Beach. I was very impressed with my Cesar salad. I had grouper as my main dish. By the time I had my main course I was full! I also drank the flamingo punch from the bar. It was too delicious. We will be back.

My husband and I both ordered Filet Mignon. They were cooked just how we ordered. Served with bernaise sauce if you’d like. It was accompanied by baby red potatoes or garlic mashed ~ both the perfect compliment. They also offered a fresh veggie. All their dressings are made in house. I had blue cheese and it actually had plenty of blue cheese in it. Ask for Stephanie. She was knowledgeable about the food, professionsl, and just the right amount of friendly.

So far not too impressed. Husband ordered Manhattan clam chowder. To both of us it tasted like dirt. He had a side salad which he liked because it was pretty heavy on the vinegar. Service was good. My greek salad was very good but I’m on a diet and anything looks good right now.

After a reasonably long day of adventuring with the family in MB, SC — I was craving some seafood and the folks suggested this as our option. Had the Crab Cake and Cajun Shrimp as my entrée and a simple water as my drink because this visit followed a whole day at the beach and club and some beverage indulgence was done there. Suffice it to say this place was spacious, and everyone around me was friendly. The food was great and since no one had enough on their plates to share around I only had my own dish which I greatly liked. I should stress that the portions were nicely size but its enough for one person. When I return to MB I would like to go here again and try something different but to those making a visit now this is a solid choice.

My husband and I came here for a nice meal while my mother in law babysit the kids on our latest trip to MB. We went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty crowded in the parking lot, which I took to be a good sign. We didn’t have to wait to be seated, but the restaurant was nearly full. I believe we got there around 6:45, so the waitress offered us happy hour drink specials. I ordered a martini with gin and pineapple juice and orange liquor(can’t remember the name, but it was so good!!) for $ 5, and an appetizer of she crab soup. Our meals also came with salads, which were sort of generic, but tasty and served with a little garlic bread. I enjoyed all of it. The meal was awesome for both of us! My husband ordered the small prime rib and got mashed potatoes and the veg(no choice, but they were delicious sugar snap peas). I ordered the crab cake and Cajun shrimp with mashed potatoes and the veg, as well. He loved his meat, although he asked for it cooked medium well(I almost died! Who does that) and when he received it as ordered he realized he meant medium rare. I ate some and it was definitely still tender and delicious, and he ate all of it. My crab cake was very tasty with quite a bit of crab, and a spicy remoulade. The Cajun shrimp were the best part of the meal. I immediately wished I had ordered a fill portion. My husband loved them, and they offer them as an app, so next time we go we will get some to start the meal! So crispy and just the right amount of spice. I loved the she crab soup, but it was pretty thick. I have no frame of reference for how it should taste, but it was very enjoyable. Overall, a great meal for a decent price. I would not take my kids here, though, because prices are a bit steep for the kids meals and it’s definitely at the higher end of our budget and we had four kids with us. I’m thinking it was probably $ 21 for each of our entrees, and the bill came to around $ 75 for two people with an app and two drinks. Décor was kitschy and very Art Deco bordering on weird rather than whimsical. Think neon lights and Marilyn Monroe pics, old restored motorcycles, and of course… flamingos. Final thought is that I would 100% go back, though, for the food alone. Worth a visit, but I would leave my kids at home, unless you like paying $ 12.99 for a kids meal in an adult atmosphere. If so, then go for it! We did see plenty of kids, just didn’t think it would have been cost-efficient to bring them.
