First, beware that the coin machine spits out tokens(not quarters) so you can only use them at this arcade. The game selection is very limited, and consisted of newer non traditional games. We went to fun zone the day before which had a much better selection than this place. Played ski ball on a few machines, and it was a «newer» version of ski ball with shorter lanes and lighter balls so not as fun as normal ski ball. Also, one time I played I didn’t get any tickets with a high score. Save your time, go to Fun Zone.

I’ve been visiting Myrtle Beach since I was a kid, and we’ve always frequented(and spent WAY too much money) the arcades on the strip. I’ve almost always started at the Fun Plaza first for the old school open air experience and then we move on to the Gay Dolphin Arcade. It always feels SOGOOD to walk into the air conditioning after coming out of the Fun Plaza which is like a sauna. We both had a few various issues with several machines either eating our tokens, or just not functioning correctly, which caused us to lose a good chunk of money over the 11 days we were in Myrtle Beach – but it wasn’t a serious enough issue to prevent us from coming back or kill our good time.
