Ice cream was just okay. Service was a bit off. The chick running the cash register tried to run our card 4 times and then finally just said… the credit card machine hasn’t been working all day. So we had to run and check our account to make sure we weren’t charged 5x.

Well. For old fashioned, I expected more. But hey, it’s ice cream. Nothing special. I got the mint chocolate chip. It was okay. Waffle cone sucked.

Popped in with the family for some ice cream before hopping on the SkyWheel. We all chose to get a single scoop and were surprised at the serving size. A single scoop seemed like two! Banana split flavor was great!

It’s just ok. The ice cream taste just ok! They only serve hard ice cream and it’s VERYPRICY in my opinion!

My first time here, ice cream was a little good but wasn’t super cold when I got it and melted really quick. They have pretzel and cookie comes though, the cookie cone was yummy!

The ice cream was average but the servers were nice. We didn’t realize we could get toppings until it was too late :( One server was a little to chatty but had good intentions. Good for a quick ice cream stop :)

I can’t imagine a place more deserted than Myrtle Beach before tourist season starts. It was cold, windy, rainy and desolate and all I really wanted was a good local ice cream place. After wandering up and down the strip in the rain, this seemed like the only place that was open and not completely scary. The two girls working inside were friendly and nice. They did their job quickly and got everything right and made small talk with us! They have glass bottle soft drinks and didn’t give us weird looks when we came back an hour later to get a few. The ice cream was good, not great, but it was also the only non-softserve place open. It hit the spot though. The interior was cutesy as well, a nice place to hide from the cold in the evening.

Grabbed ice cream with my family of five yesterday evening. I know it is Sept but I was a little surprised that they only had one young lady working hence the line out the door. In addition they had a limited number of ice cream options that were only viewable when it was your turn although gal expected you to know what you wanted as soon as she made eye contact with you.Strange. The husband and I ordered Turtle Tracks on waffle cones. Pretty darn decent. The munchkins each had a single scoop 1 Rainbow sherbet 1 Chocolate 1 Cookies and Cream No complaints there. Our grand total of over $ 26 before the glorious 11.5% leaves a slightly sour taste in my mouth especially because the ice cream was average at best. I guess to be expected while located on the strip of a tourist Mecca.

Mad Myrtle’s… it may have been because I was in a bad mood, but this place is just okay. I would return for some ice cream, they did have a large selection of flavors(I ordered superman), and the staff was so-so. Not rude, but not super excited to be there. That part didn’t quite matter because as long as they’re not mean, I don’t expect them to jump for joy that I’m there. They do not accept debit/credit, but have an ATM in their store. All of their ice cream is Hershey’s brand. They also sell a few hot foods — nachos, pretzels, I can’t remember what else. Not a huge variety, but snack foods. I certainly wouldn’t be ordering hot food on a busy hot day, but I’m also a fan of Myrtle Beach in Early spring/late fall when there are few people down there and you can just relax in an air conditioned small restaurant and take in the view of just being at Myrtle beach — that’s the best time to get that type of food(I think anyways.) It’s a LITTLE overpriced($ 4 for a double school in a paper bowl), but what can you expect when sales tax is 11.5%? I would probably return because you get much better service than many other ice cream stands on Ocean Boulevard.
