Great food, friendly service, and very clean. I really enjoyed my dinner and the atmosphere here. I’ll be back.

Came here based on recommendations that this was the best Indian restaurant in town and we weren’t disappointed. Food was excellent and portions were just the right size. The atmosphere was very nice too. Service was fantastic, granted it wasn’t very busy at the time, but still the staff was very efficient. Not a great drink selection, but honestly if you’ve come to an Indian restaurant just to drink you’ve come to the wrong place anyway. The only downfalls were they didn’t serve naan with the meal automatically and the curb appeal wasn’t great.(That being said, some of the best places I’ve ever eaten had a «hole in the wall» exterior appearance.)

This is the worse Indian restaurant I have ever been. I got food poisoning due to their food. There are rats in this place, and management is sooooo rude they don’t care about customers besides all the issues in restaurant.

Would never come to this place ever. Extreamly poor service and not worth at all. Not sure who owns the place but they should take charge before its too late. Now respect for people specially who are visiting or traveling to Myrtle Beach with their families. They shut abruptly whenever they want to. I can go on and on in this place but I would be wasting my time even writing abt this place. If they can’t handle pressure with hospitality then they should not be in the restaurant business.

Enjoyed the lunch buffet with many vegan option here earlier. For only $ 9.95! a person and a free side of bread. Again, very clean place and exceptional service. Only thing I’d change is for the staff to make sure all dishes are always full and add more to the cold bar. Other than that it was wonderful and just minutes from the beach.

We found this place while driving around the area and we’re sure glad we did ! Everything we are here was awesome! Highly recommend it even for vegetarians! We loved the sizzlers, Chilli garlic naan and awesome Aloo bhindi. Food was fresh and tasted great! The hostess was very pleasant. All in all a very good dining experience!

We went to the Restaurant for Dinner and we were shocked to see people just waiting in the line without being received by any of the hotel crew. We waited for almost 30 minutes then i finally lost my patience and checked with one of waitress. She told they are seating the customers as seats are getting freed up. I guess the owners should first get a lesson on how to manage the Customers and Serve them better.

Ventured here while on a work trip and I’m very glad I did. I came here as a part of a large party. We were immediately seated and we ordered the following: *Pakora-Yum *Samosa-Yum *Special Platter-Good, but I was not a fan of the lamb. *Butter Chicken-Bomb! This place serves amazing butter chicken. The sauce is thick, sweet and savory. I’m sad that I haven’t been able to find butter chicken this good back home. The ambiance here is quite nice as well. It’s nicely decorated and dimly lit. The staff is attentive and were able to give good recommendations. They offer a complimentary crunchy cracker thing. I wasn’t a big fan of that. It was a bit too salty for my taste, but everything else was awesome. I should also mention that someone in our party did end up getting sick from the food.

Restaurant is beautiful but food is subpar. The complimentary papparr/crackers were terrible. I don’t understand why they would even serve something that bad. Perhaps it’s a warning sign. Heed it! Anyway, then ordered chicken karahi and got something like chicken jalfarezi, very low in flavor. It came with white rice, which were good. Also ordered the tandoori chicken(half), the waitress said it was going to be half-a-chicken divided into four parts. They gave us four tiny pieces that put together would not make half of a chicken. Must be a mutated extra small chicken or something, and it was bland. Asked for one naan and they sent two and charged for two. The samosa chat appetizer was good though. Servers could use some customer-service training. They were awkwardly staring at customers and then huddling and giggling among themselves. Wierd dinner! Food looks good but remember that appearances can be deceiving.

Date: September 06, 2015 Time: Dinner Waiting time: 2 minutes. Restaurant has a good ambiance. The food is great. Ordered the following: * Paneer Munchurian(Good) * Chicken Hyderabadi(Great) * Dal Makhani(Not so good) Although, waited only 2 minutes to be seated… it took forever for the food to come out. Would i go there again? Yes.

We went to the restaurant at 1.55 pm on 09/06/2015. We waited in line until 2.11 pm. Restaurant closes at 2.30 pm essentially meaning they should take customers in until 2.30 pm and no more. That was not the case, there were 10 people in line and the lady manager asked everybody to leave at 2.11 pm starting she can’t seat anybody else and that she put up the close sign board which nobody really saw as it was a blatant lie, and it doesn’t even matter if she out a close sign or not as the restaurant is open until 2.30. They might have good food or whatever, I don’t give a damn about it if I can’t eat after waiting for almost 20 mins. «sorry, we can’t seat you, please can you leave» is the filthy words used by the lady manager. The situation could have been handled better as I myself worked in an Indian restaurant as a student and never disrespected or asked the customer to leave no matter what. The 10 people who left, left cursing the restaurant having waited for 30 mins already! I am an Indian and I do not appreciate such rude behavior. My suggestion is to skip the restaurant if you actually want to eat food rather than staring at people eating food! cl

Atmosphere was very inviting. However, our plates were not clean and there were ants crawling around our dishes during our appetizers. Ordered shrimp Karhai but received shrimp curry instead– two completely different dishes. They were out of lamb and goat. Ordered naan(bread) without butter but received it with butter!

This was a tricky one to review. maybe I was expecting too much with 4 star reviews and that maybe why I was disappointed. Here is where I think things went wrong for me: We got paneer appetizer and it all it had was color. There was some flavor but that was the salt pepper type mixture. Then we ordered lassi with dinner. That had ice in it… not good. That is a big no-no. Then the paneer entrée. It was way too runny and had paneer pieces that were not the freshest I have tasted. So overall this was a mediocre experience and I would not recommend this place.

The manager/owner was very rude. First she said she can do togo order since the buffet is over. After we decided what to get in less than 10 minutes she very rudely said she can’t do togo orders now as it is very late. It was like she just wanted us to get out and kept looking at us repeating the same thing till we were out of the door. Since we couldn’t find any other good Indian restaurants nearby we came back later for dinner. Some of the items on the menu were not available and were disappointed about that like paneer makhani and baingan bharta. The food was good(also we were very hungry) since we had to skip lunch. We had got bhindi masala, dal fry and navratana korma. Deserts were not that great. We got gulab jamun and ras malai. And that was the worst ras malai I have had in the US. Good ambience and quiet place.

If you are in the area and looking for Indian food, this place is the answer! We ordered kadhai chicken, hyderabadi chicken and dhabba chicken. all the dishes were fabulous and tasted very different from one another. However, Hyderabadi Chicken was the favorite of our group, which consisted of 6 food lovers. As for portions, one dish per head is what you need

Masala is as good as any place on Devon in Chicago. That said, the décor, service, and parking were pleasant, authentic, and straightforward. While not as spicy as I’ve had elsewhere, the Curry, Daal, and Naan with chili were excellent, and the Simosas were nice and warm. This location is solid, and I’d readily go back. Namaste
