Whoever commented on this place as being good is delusional. The food is very bland and the service is very slow. The phrase«Good food not fast fast food not good» does not apply here. The service was polite however.

Had a yummy omelet just the way I like it. However, service very slow. The sights of the ocean made up for our prolonged wait, BUT if you have places to go, things to see, plan extra time. Prices good. Food good. Just slow service.

I just called to ask if breakfast was served and the person who answered the phone was beyond rude. I’m stunned at the level of disrespect. She hung up on me.

This place doesn’t serve breakfast. Just an FYI for those that come to a breakfast/brunch place. Otherwise the view is amazing!!!

Wonderful staff, great view, even better prices, and the best breakfast I’ve had in Myrtle Beach. Owner/Head Chef, Steve, came out to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and to inform my mother that her Steak & Eggs would be served as a 12oz. rib eye steak instead of the usual 8oz. portion. Of course she was thrilled. When our food was served, the steak was cooked to perfection along with over medium eggs, and a single pancake(subbed for toast, no charge). Also my daughter and myself received our two orders of three pancakes with two over medium eggs and bacon. The eggs were all cooked without any burned ends, something even nice hotels have a problem delivering. The bacon was crispy and not greasy. And all odd our pancakes were golden brown and delicious. They didn’t fall apart when syrup was added either. The local color was lovely as well. Ron is someone you’ll probably meet, who makes u feel instantly at ease. What a beautiful gem of a restaurant. They make everything from scratch too. It’s a definite repeat on our vacation.

This is a little hidden gem and a great place for breakfast. The food was good at a great price. Get the«Big Poppie» breakfast! The place was immaculate clean. Service was great and the view was awesome. Only reason that I don’t give it 5 stars is because I save that for fine dining.

Greasy spoon on with a awesome beach view. Save your money and go eat some good food at any of the huge choice of restaurants available in Myrtle beach.

Gave it a star for offering food at least for little money. But if you want good eats go elsewhere. Tomfoolery for the reviews posted!!!

Great food and price! biscuit and gravy was excellent which I think tells a lot about its home style cooking and it was great. Previous breakfast buffet under $ 7 were disappointibg and thought you get tasteless food for that price but this place changes everthing. They dont have that much selextion but i thiught it was enough for the price. Real good home cooking and tasteful place to eat for all you can eat breakfast buffet.

Good breakfast buffet. Low prices. $ 6.99 for all you can eat home cooking. Friendly staff and sits right on the beach in a old hotel. Nice little restaurant off the beaten path.

The food was great, portion size was also wonderful. Prices was reasonable. The service was slow, so do not come here thinking you can get in and out fast. I asked for onions in my hash browns and they did not come with any.

I’m not sure how thus place garnered four stars. maybe because its cheap? Its a cheesy restaurant in a cheap hotel. Water view… well, if you look past the interesting array of people at the pool, you can see the ocean. OK, the food. I ordered the shrimp plate. It turned out to be made with tiny salad shrimp(too small to even be categorized as popcorn shrimp) that were next to a pile of ok fries. The tiny side of coleslaw was over sweet, and I usually like my coleslaw a little on the sweet side. The waitress dropped our plate and then disappeared. She hadn’t given us any silverware so I struggled to pick up the tiny shrimp with my fingers, and found that they tasted salty. My hubby had to get up to track down silverware. Bad food and bad service. Stay away unless cheap food us more important than taste.

Visiting from Texas, loved the hometown atmosphere! The buffet was reasonably priced and the«fried tators and onions» were awesome! Very relaxing.

Buffet is just ok but price point is great. They did have a good bologna sandwich and good corned beef hash. Folks are VERY friendly so gave another star for that.

Absolutely great restaurant! Harriet and her husband were the most hospitable you could ask for. we thought the menu was a misprint cuz the prices were so cheap. Clean, good and good prices with good food and excellent service. What more could you ask?

The prices were great and the food was good. It has a nice beach view you just need to know it’s in a hotel so it took a couple minutes to find it. Overall a great example of a greesy spoon restaurant.

We Loved this place, Yes it was like stepping back in time to 1975. Old Hotel old Café. Owned by a Husband & Wife he cook she runs the front of the house. Nothing fancy just Great home style cooking. The breakfast was Buffy or order we did both. Food was great and the place has a great view. I thing its only open 7 — 2 daily. and we were told by the locals to try the ribs for lunch and Boy were they right. One of the few places I have ever been I thought the prices were to low.
