We were on Barefoot Landing trying to walk off some of the calories we consumed at Mr. Fish a few minutes before when I spotted Purpleologist ahead of me. Since I love the color purple(title of a great movie, as well!), I had to go investigate. The people who came up with this concept weren’t kidding– there were purple items everywhere! I especially liked seeing wine glasses and champagne flutes, Christmas ornaments, scarves, stationery, and stuffed animals(there were even purple crabs!). Even the doors and floorboards were purple! I almost ended up getting a peacock-patterned scarf as a belated gift from my sister, but I decided I didn’t want it. The price was right, but the quality wasn’t up to my standards. I’d rather spend a little bit more and have something of much-higher quality and have it stand the test of time. I did see a purple-bottomed stemless wine glass that I wanted to take home with me, but I worried about it breaking in my carry-on. I’ll just order it online somewhere.

Pretty much the coolest store ever. My favorite color is purple, so stumbling across this store was a pure delight! They had some really cute dresses that were actually reasonably priced and not cheap looking that I would totally wear. If I lived near here, I’d be shopping here constantly.

Best part of the South Carolina trip ever! This store is entirely purple — I was in heaven!!! They have so many purple awesome things here, including purple candy canes, purple tea, amethyst gifts with little silver turtles, purple jewelry, purple Christmas Trees! etc. etc. If you or a friend has a purplephilia, then you must come here! You can get a 10% discount at the Purpleologist from the mall discount center if you sign up for their free membership.
