Ordered a pizza for delivery and it was 50 minutes late. We live less than a mile from the place. Called to check in the status and the person said its already left, well after 50 minutes it better had left. When the pizza arrived it was cold. No apology no discount on the late cold pizza. Clearly out business isn’t as important as they think. Never again!

We stopped in here for lunch today, on a whim, and I had spaghetti with garlic bread, and my wife had a chef salad. We were very please with lunch, meaning it was really good. The sauce was flavorful, and the noodles could have been hand made for all I know. While we were there for lunch, we noticed the sign that today’s special was a large cheese pizza for $ 6.99, so we decided to come back for dinner, and we were glad we did. We ordered homemade breadsticks, which are covered with cheese, and garlic butter. These were good enough to just make a meal out of, and we just got a plain cheese pizza. Even though it was just plain cheese, it was still one of the best, at least one of the top 5 pizza’s in Myrtle Beach. It’s surprising that it’s not busier than it is, but that could be do to it’s off the beaten path location, which works towards your favor, I mean you walk in and sit where you want. The staff was friendly both visits, and it’s obvious it’s a family run place. They take pride in their food, and making sure you are happy. As always, the question is would we go back. Most defiantly, I mean we went twice in one day. Would I drive a couple hundred miles of it, cause you know I have driven almost 800 miles for pizza before. I wouldn’t say I would make a special trip, but I would make sure it was on my list of places to eat at when I was in Myrtle Beach, and I would recommend that you check it out too, as I’m sure it’ll make it to your list of favorites.

I’ve always enjoyed Serafino’s and used to go there a long while back when I lived up in the Myrtle area. I’m not sure on all the details over the years but, I was pretty sure they closed at one point and then maybe re-opened at some other point. Honestly, I have no idea if management or ownership ever changed over the years. I came in recently with my Mom. As I walked in, I got out to check and see if they were even open. The windows are blacked out with tint which doesn’t give the most welcoming feel. I opened the door and saw that it was completely empty so I assumed they hadn’t opened for the day yet and went to head out when the waitress caught me and asked to seat me. I waived my mom in from the car and we grabbed a booth. She had a sub and I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza… my old favorite from there. The pizza was still tasty and the service was over the top excellent. I’m assuming because we were the only party in there. Maybe they don’t do much lunch business but I was shocked to see them so slow. Hopefully that was a fluke. Although I’m guessing based on their location, they likely do a lot of delivery service. Maybe go check them out for lunch… great service with no competition for a table!

The lunch specials & Wednesday night pizza special are great deals. They actually make the dough instead of buying frozen or premade. Pies are good & sausage is true round italian, not crumbles. Burger, fries & soft drink lunch special & you can get the burger mid-rare(a rarity @ the beach). Salads are good & the spanakopita is as good as the greek festival. Pepperoni a little greasy but otherwise overall good food, good price. If they had kept the Reuben on the menu would be better but can’t have it all.

Owners were present and very nice. Off the beaten path, not crowded at all and did not take very long to receive food. Plenty of room for family of 6. Pizza sauce was great as well as all ingredients were fresh, cheese was good and not to greasy. Pizza dough is homemade and very good, but not the best I have had. Overall great place to go for pizza, would definitely recommend. Had unadvertised special of 2 large cheese pies for $ 17.99 and you could add ingredients of course. Price was excellent for food and service received.

So after reading the reviews and wanting to try a place we hadn’t been before, we chose Serafino’s. Walking in from a 95° day into an 85° restaurant should have been our 1st clue how this was go. No liquor license.(Strike 2) We had a coupon for«1 free menu item with the purchase of a menu item of equal or greater value. Up to $ 9.99 value». We were told that because both the pizzas we ordered were more than $ 9.99($ 17.45 each for 16″) we could not use the coupon.(Strike 3) Now for the pizza we ordered ½ bacon ½ sausage and a pepperoni and sausage. The bacon was almost all fat and barely cooked. The sausage was thinly sliced and look like pepperoni and had little to no flavor. Both pizzas were incredibly greasy. I would rank the pizza somewhere between high school cafeteria and bowling alley. The crust was the best part but that’s not saying much. You have a lot of choices for pizza in Myrtle Beach, go ahead scratch this one off your list.

It’s tough finding good pizza at the beach, but this is our new favorite. It’s also open until 11, and when we found our other favorite pizza joint(Gino’s) closed late on Saturday night, we decided to give this one a shot. We weren’t disappointed. We just got a tomato and cheese pizza, and it was excellent. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce with a tender not-too-thick crust. It’s technically Greek-style pizza, so I wouldn’t expect it to look like something from Italy or NYC. But it was hands-down the best Greek pizza I’ve ever had. In addition, our cheerful server, Rachel, an Atlanta transplant, made me want to move to the beach and be her new best friend. I’m sure she wanted to get home to her family already, but she chatted with us until we shut the place down. It was after 11, but she was still encouraging us to order dessert(lemon cake, which I regret the two of us had no room for after finishing the large pizza.) It’s a bit off the beaten path, but if you’re sick of the chain places and all the other stuff on Highway 17, plug this address into your GPS and try it out. Or give them a call and ask for Rachel – I have no doubt she’ll give you door-to-door directions.

My wife was raised in Italy by a certified chef. If she says the sauce is good, believe it! The price was good, the service was great, and the place was clean. We loved it!

Serafino’s has reopened under the original owner. The 4 cheese white pizza is excellent. Friendly service. Delivery is free and prompt. Other Italian dishes on menu but have not tried yet.

We have been a loyal customer for years but have been very disappointed lately but decided to give it another try. the employee didnt seem concerned that they would be losing our business over a matter that could have been easily solved… it’s what you do to save business… simply satisfy the customer over a simple matter… Have heard nothing but complaints lately about Sarafinos recently anyway… will not be back.

We have eaten here a few times now. Pizza is delicious, as are the salads and sandwiches. We haven’t had anything bad yet! Our service has also been fine. They must’ve let the bad servers go!

Shh! One of Myrtle Beach’s best kept«locals only» secrets! This little pizza joint is excellent. We had a House Special pizza, which was only $ 12 for a large on Tuesday nights. Nice, crisp crust, tons of fresh toppings, yum! Dan, the owner, was nice and joked around with us at our table. They seem to have specials most week nights, and the pool table was well-used. They have a couple of beers on tap and red wine. The wine pour is VERY generous, 12 oz. for $ 6. In addition to pizza, they have pasta, salad, sandwiches and a kid’s menu. Completely off the beaten track in MB, but worth the drive to get away from the crowds of obnoxious tourists.
