Enjoyed some excellent pizza here and a pint of Goose Island 312. Friendly server and enjoyed a great visit with friends… thanks, Mellow Mushroom!

Mellow Mush didn’t disappoint! We are fans of the original in our home of Asheville, NC. This location is less eclectic on the interior but the food remains just as delicious. We ordered the MellowTerranean Pizza. Excellent! Highly recommended. Also had Carnie Pub Burger without a bun and it was satisfyingly yummy. Server was attentive and music was at an average level so you could actually have a conversation. TV’s plastered everywhere unfortunately. Restaurant could use detail cleaning at and around booths. Other than that Mellow Mushroom is a winner!

Consistently great pizza from this chain. I generally avoid chain pizza restaurants and this an exception. Ordered some pizzas and pretzels to go and was met promptly at the curbside pickup. The server was very courteous and even was thinking ahead and included silverware and plates in with my to go order. The pizza itself has a sweet wheat bread like dough that’s very unique and also delicious. The pizzas on the menu cover all different flavor profiles but the build your own section is really where they shine. They have ingredients to accommodate the most picky or allergy sufferers. From a vegan pizza to super meats and everything in between.

Friendly and efficient service, and I’m absolutely THRILLED that they have vegan options like tempeh, tofu and daiya cheese! Wish they would use«just mayo» to make it a total experience, but at least they’re trying. Great draft beer selection and very decent wines.

My parents and I dined here on 9÷3÷15. We were seated immediately. We ordered the pretzel appetizer(half order). We choose the butter and kosher salt pretzels with a side of mustard. The half order was 3 large pretzels, which was well over enough for us. They were warm and fresh. We also ordered the meatball trio, which was three large meatballs, with fresh mozzarella, red sauce, shaved parmesan cheese and basil. The meatballs could have been a little hotter. I assume they weren’t piping hot due to how big they were, but they tasted great and weren’t salty. I’m not a big fan of red sauce, but theirs was so good that I found myself scooping it up on my plate to dip my meatball in. For our main meal, we ordered pizzas. My parents ordered the medium 14″ Build Your own pizza, with mozzarella, pepperoni, and sausage. I ordered the small 10″ Maui Wowie. It has a pesto base with ham, jerk chicken, pineapple, banana peppers, applewood smoked bacon, and mozzarella. Our pizzas and food overall were excellent. Our pizzas had plenty of toppings and the crust was soft. The pizza slices are a lot larger than you think. The menu said their smallest pizza, 10″ was 4 slices, but the slices are huge. I ended up cutting those 4 slices in half to make 8 «normal» slices of pizza. You’ll definitely have leftovers to take home. About 10 minutes after we ordered, the power went out. Thank goodness our pizzas were already in the oven. Despite the power outage, our server went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. She was friendly and attentive, and checked up on us throughout our meal. Mellow Mushroom is one of my favorite places to get pizza. We don’t have any near us back home, so we definitely make it a point to stop in at least once when we’re down here.

We got takeout and it was amazing! We got the large House Special and it was one of the best pizza’s I have ever had.
