I have had my rental condo cleaned by Simply Clean Housekeeping for several months. It is very important to be able to rely on a housekeepers thoroughness and prompt attention to cleaning schedules. This past weekend I received a call from an incoming renter at 2:50pm, (their check in was 3:00pm), they wanted to know why the condo had not been cleaned. I had received no message from Simply Clean, in trying to call they would not answer the phone or answer a text message. After several text messages over a period of 30 minutes I did receive a text message that someone was on their way over and would be there in 45 minutes. After thirty minutes I texted the owner asking for an estimated time of arrival for the housekeeper. My renter had now been waiting 50 minutes past there check in time. Again after 20 minutes and several follow up text messages, I received a text that Simply Clean could not do the cleaning and I would have to get someone else. I live out of state and do not have contacts in Myrtle Beach. I texted Simply Clean saying that I was sure they had contacts in the area who they could call on for help. This was to no avail, I was left with no support from Simply Clean and a renter now over an hour waiting to get into the condo, this renter had just driven all day from Pennsylvania. This was the second insistence in a month of failure by Simply Clean to do the scheduled cleaning prior to the renter checking into the condo. Because of these failures by Simply Clean to execute their task, I have had to compensate two renters for their inconvenience, I would not recommend Simply Clean for any cleaning job. Dependability is essential for a cleaning service, when something unexpected happens you as a client expect the cleaning service to pull together a backup plan, this did not happen with Simply Clean Housekeeping.
