This is a very cool bar. Resembles an English pub and serves from great traditional English dishes. I always get the sausage pastry appetizer, good stuff! I’ve also had the meat and potatoes pastry, Shepard’s pie(good, but not great), and a couple different sandwiches. I hear the fish and chips is a great dish, but I’ve never tried it. If you are a soccer fan, this place is for you. They have a large projection screen for big games. This is the official bar of the unofficial Myrtle Beach chapter of the American Outlaws. Whenever I’m in town, I catch all the games here. If you aren’t a soccer fan, don’t be scared away. You’ll still enjoy this bar. Definitely a great place to check out for dinner or drinks!

Food was so-so, one person from the group said they didn’t like the burger and onion rings were bad. Went day before St. Patty’s day corn beef was good not the best that I’ve had. When walking in it was gross beer buckets and canisters with floating cigarette butts floating in them, Looked like they had been there awhile. Beer bottles laying on the ground. Should have turned around then. I would try other places before going there.

This place is awesome! We were in town for a soccer tournament and discovered this spot on Unilocal.Took a little bit of problem solving to actually get to the place because Google maps seemed to think it was in the middle of a neighborhood and it was behind the houses off the main road. We eventually saw the large British flag and just headed in that direction. The place is warm and cozy. Lots of soccer on the screens, which was perfect for us — excellent and authentic pub food and great draft beer selections. Portions were very generous, everything was delicious and tasted home-made. The kid’s chicken fingers were also awesome — they were delicately breaded with a perfectly crisp crust and not so huge that they took forever to cool for the little ones. I was tempted to order some for myself, they looked that good! Great service, great food, great find!

I’m torn. Been there many times and the food is good, as it was tonight. But, we brought people new to the area, and had pretty terrible service. Tables all around us were getting very good service and we sat there with empty glasses and even stopped a few servers asking for someone to take our order. Went to the bar once to order drinks and got some after about 5 minutes. Then had to stop someone to get our check and voiced complaint about being ignored while other tables were receiving good sercice. Then this male server came over and instead of apologizing went off on us for complaining and said how many times he had been to our table, blah, blah, and gave us no chance to explain why we were dissatisfied. Then, to put the icing on the cake, when he came back to bring the check, we tried to explain and he once again went off on a loud tangent, drawing the attention of other tables, and told us to not trip on the way out. Just WOW. I don’t know if he’s the owner or manager or what, but I’ve worked in food service and if I acted like that, I would have been gone. It’s a shame because we’ve been here no less than 20 times and now feel like we would be treated poorly again.

Authentic English pub! Soccer(football to them) game was on and several British fans cheering for their home team, Manchester City which is ranked 3rd in the league. Several good drafts, excellent fish and chips, scotch egg and stake and ale pie. The food is an excellent example of good English food. The owner knows all his customers, got to know us as we sat for hours talking and had to eventually stay another night in Myrtle Beach because we didn’t want to leave the good time we were having here! Call and get directions of your GPS can’t find it, don’t skip this experience it is a must visit, must go again and again.

I really enjoy the food at this charming pub. I had the Yorkshire pudding and steak & ale pie. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. The service was very attentive and kind. Highly recommend.

Love it here! John is a great owner and makes you feel at home. Bartenders are great and attentive. Food is amazing, from the PIZZA(surprisingly awesome) to the wraps and steak n ale pie! Chips are great just get em crispy and covered in malt vinegar! The wings? Some of the best my husband ever had! Karaōke on Saturday, food specials everyday. Went in on Thursday for $ 8 pasta and had enough on my plate for 3 people, it was delicious! Smoke free and def family friendly before late night, our go-to place for beers and a bite to eat.

Come here with the hubs here and there. He absolutely loves it! The wings are amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing. Pool table to shake of some of that food and drinks. Went here about a «week ago» and the waiter/bartender(I think is new) was the sweetest! Loves everything about him and this place!

This English pub is hidden away from the tourist rush but it is well worth the drive. The food is authentic and great — there are options for quick eats as well as dinner. My favorite dish was the Prince William. We went to watch the World Cup during dinner; the atmosphere was amazing!

Scottish egg was the best I’ve had. Shepherd’s pie was very hot and tasty. Pint of Guinness washed it down perfectly. Even the onion rings had a distinctive ale-battered flavor. My wife says the fish and chips was very good. She is very picky and prefers skinny fries from McDs but ate the fatter«chips» just fine. My girls thought the Irish stew was salty but they typically eat nothing anyway. It was almost 100 degrees outside and the pub was pretty warm. Waitress took $ 10 off the bill just because, without anyone asking. Both servers were friendly and offered suggestions when I asked. I’d love to have this pub in my neighborhood.

A great local joint. The owner is authentic & the staff is top notch! I’ve been visiting here since their opening & have truly enjoyed watching the establishment grow with the community. The food there is pretty good. They give the dishes British names, although no doubt about it, the plates are American! The good news is they’ll special order anything at your request as long as they have it in their kitchen & can slap a British name to it. Unfortunately for these guys there’s good competition just across the street. But if you’re looking for a good, fun authentic crowd; then these guys blow the competition back«across the pond»

This quickly became our favorite place in Myrtle Beach. We moved here about 5 months ago, and this was what we were missing, a fun pub that made you feel welcome. Being our first time, the staff treated us like we’ve been regulars for years, and part of the family. The fish and chips is really good, and you can smell the beer batter when you walk in the door. Definatly a place to put on your list to try, the happy hour specials will not let you down.

Great atmosphere, fun and full of life. Great food, lots of variety. Nonsmoking. Often has entertainment and Karaōke. There are pool tables as well. Owner really appreciates customers and he even knows most by name. Had not gotten out in a while and when I went they immediately has asked me how my mother is doing and said to say hello to her. Just love this place.

Love this place. Owner is real nice and makes sure you’re happy with your food and drinks. Always the special: $ 3 pint Guinness! Great draft selection even though its only a 7 or 8 beers its awesome, nothing junky. Ciders and English ales too, rotating options. Even more fun options with bottled beers and ciders. I’ve had the scotch egg appetizer, very yummy, about $ 7… the pub burger and fries, best deal anywhere, about $ 7… and the tikka marsala wrap about $ 7… good, needed a bit more flavor. My friends love the Shepard Pie, around $ 12 and Fish and Chips, around $ 12. More items around $ 15. The inside atmosphere is a classic dark-wood pub with a couple pool tables, TVs and a projector big screen for sporting events like Premier League soccer. The place is semi-split into bar area and restaurant area. The restaurant sit down side has dark tables with classic traditional UK décor on the walls. Nice for a casual date night. We’ve listened to some nice live bands during the week, on Thursdays I believe.

Stopped into this place on Sunday for a bite to eat with some friends before skipping town. They had happy hour prices all day as a special which offered discounts on most of the food menu. I tried the samosa appetizer which was alright, wishing I got the scotch eggs instead. I wanted the Sheppard’s Pie but was looking for more of a lunch option. I opted for a Philly with chips. It was fine but not amazing or anything. Next time I will stick to my gut and go for the more authentic dishes. Great place to catch a game too. Lots of TV’s, specials, and has that authentic pub feel inside.
