We’ve been here several times now. They sell food, but it’s more of a bar with a bar atmosphere. The service is pretty good. Also the bartender wasn’t skimpy on the rum… Not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. I wasn’t driving so I guess it was a good thing.
The place is conveniently located in Surfside Beach right off Highway 17. It’s actually located to an excellent Italian Restaurant.
Prices aren’t bad so we will probably be back for drinks.

Good happy hour deals on food. Creative daily specials. Good wings. Good bar food. Clean, fun atmosphere. Seems to be a local hangout. AWESOME mural on their outside for photo opts. Our service was quite terrible. But food good. Its a little loud with the jukebox. We would come back. Booths have their own tvs to watch your fave team

The Borgata/​Surfside Bar & Grill has new owners that care about their customers, have revamped the interior, and are truly working hard to make it a great place to enjoy in Surfside Beach. Had the pleasure of hanging out there last night for drinks and a very tasteful BLT wrap. Daily specials are awesome, and you can never go wrong with a place that has a popcorn machine! One of our favorite «Cheers» spots!

This place has been resurrected. Its under new ownership. New food new everything. Good for games good for groups. Good to just come and chill out on the porch during the summer time. Its got TVs upstairs it’s got a downstairs and upstairs. Got plenty of room for all your friends. And the food is good. The prices are really good too. This is definitely a local hangout. We had a Superbowl party upstairs and it was awesome.

This place is under new management. I met some friends here for the super bowl. We had such a good time. The food was good! We were happy with the service. I saw they have trivia, we will definitely be back!

Just bought a place in surfside and this has been by far the best bar I have found. The perfect mix between a local bar and a nicer bar. Food was great beer selection was really good and had great happy hour specials.

Gave this 5 stars my first time here now I’d give it 3. They changed the seasoning for the buffalo chicken sandwich which was awesome before. Now it taste like buffalo sauce on top of jerk chicken. The bar tender wasn’t that friendly this time either and had to ask for refills.

Off season? We can’t sell you nachos or hamburgers and fries, it’s 9PM and our cook has already left. In their defense another unremembered bar, then — -Greg’s Cabana Bar –hole in wall just off to the side of Walmart’s parking lot-​also had no cook — - — Borgata had decent parking on a narrow street. The same dark unoriginal Myrtle Beach sportsbar theme — — — — Sports Bars in Myrtle Beach can’t keep patrons coming in 7 days a week. **Empty ***after a variety of «Pub» let downs. our hero Captain D’s saved shrimp dinners and a combo shrimp/​chicken and fish platter for us.

Got to bar and there was only one bartender who was also for some reason the cook. Ordered appetizers that were half off for happy our. Food was very good, never had to wait for a drink and bar was pretty crowded. The bartender nailed it.

ordered take out after a very long day. they did not answer the phone so we drove down. still had to call twice from the bar because we could not get the bartenders attention. it was .35¢ wing night so they were super busy. the wait, 30 min for 2 cheese burgers and a blt. turned out to be worth the wait. love the bun. just what I was craving. the patrons at the bar (from Canada) were entertaining. it was decent with the exception of the bartenders who couldn’t give a darn about food orders.
I think if I had the energy to start it would have been even better.

OK… This is more Bar than Restaurant. Having said that, we came in for a couple drinks. We sat down at the bar and it took several minutes before the bartender got to us. Apparently the party behind us had been drinking since 3pm and it was now 7. He apologized and took our drink order. My Brides came quickly but, as anyone will tell you, it takes a minute to pour a good glass of Guinness. Well, the very busy bartender walked past my half poured beer about 5 times. I finally had to flag him down. He was very apologetic and poured up a fresh glass on the house. In addition he gave me the 2/3’s pour as well. So… 1 and 2/3’s of a beer and a sincere appology will get you 4 stars. Next time we are down, we’ll give them another shot.

We walked in and it stunk, like nasty old never washed bar carpet and buffalo sauce. We went upstairs to check out that area, and turned around before we even made it to the top. When I walked out I ran to grab the door for a server with his hands full… No thanks, no head nod… So he got a nice loud «you’re WELCOME A*****» as I walked out.
Never going back. Disgusting, needs a deep cleaning and lesson in manners.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would… This is a horrible place. RUDE service. The bartender basically ignored us. She was too busy talking to some boys at the bar. Probably hoping to get a better tip. We came to this place hoping for a few drinks close to one am. The place wasn’t busy at all. The bartender made a scene about making sure she saw all of our id’s (a party of 7 which is totally understandable). But she checked our id’s and walked away. Do not go to this place they are RUDE RUDE RUDE! We had to go somewhere else because it was unbearable. I guess they don’t care about service of people from out of town they just care about the seven local people that go there on a nightly basis.

Let me start off with the service. The bartender was straight-​up horrible. Walked into the bar around 10:00, sat down, and waited for her to take our drink order for 15 minutes. After nearly risking my life to capture this woman’s attention for a drink, she came back with an «espresso martini», aka a shot of Hershey’s syrup with a droplet of vodka in a fancy frosted glass. Pretty pathetic martini. Pretty pathetic experience. Took the check, paid, and ran.

We received a $ 50 voucher to eat here and thought we’d give it a try. We were unaware it is more bar than restaurant, but we went with the flow anyway. While it seems like a good place to order a few rounds of beers while watching a game, it’s definitely not a good place to come for food. Our meal was just plain bad and even though it was free, I felt like I paid too much! LOL
Icks-​nay on a return visit. But on the positive, I did discover a great place for pizza just a few doors down.

This is ok for what it is — a bar that serves a few food items. After a morning at the beach stopped for lunch. Basically you can get a burger or wings or a cheesesteak or couple of other apps. Tried the sampler platter with onion rings, mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders — not bad but not great.
