Food is pretty darn good. AC was not working so it was hot. They have cards, buy 10 get a freebie. Problem is they never seem to have cards. When I go, I bought twice for 4 people. Asked about cards, they said sorry.

What a fun Lil place. The menu is pretty big and there’s something for everyone. Had a BLT Dogg and onion rings wow they were good. Love their gimmick of serving ya in a dog bowl, too funny. I know this will be a regular stop for me when I am visiting my SC home.

So I’m always skeptical of highly rated fast food places. This place is really good though. One of the best hotdogs I’ve ever had. The toppings were simply awesome. The chili had just a little heat to it(awesome). I’m not a big slaw person, but on occasion I like it on a hotdog. Their slaw was very good. Ironically, so many southern people like tomatoes, but don’t get them on hotdogs. I love tomatoes and order them on my hotdog. They had them here and gladly put them on for me. My gf wasn’t as happy with hers, but she likes hers burnt to a crisp. I can’t fault them for that. She didn’t ask them to crisp it and that was her biggest complaint. We also had cheese fries. They’re good. My two criticisms are cheese whiz and not crimping the fries, but they’re still good. We ate almost the whole basket. Overall it was a very good experience.

Really great food! Super sweet people! Kids loved being served in dog bowels! The Italian sausage was fantastic and the burgers were very good too. A little slow on comparison to a fast food joint but worth it.

Great, fun place to eat. Very family oriented, and the value is very high. We had the cheeseburgers and hot dogs — all excellent. I strongly suggest this as an option for families, you wont be disappointed. Also, this is among the friendliest staff I have encountered anywhere. They are definitely not your typical jaded resort town types. Overall highly recommended.

Honestly the best place I been to on my trip to South Carolina. Warmly greeted by owner and family the food was amazing especially when your served on a dog bowl. I tried there double burger and I also had to try the Joey dog just amazing. Going to pick up some burgers and dogs before my trip back to New York. Don’t miss out on this gem

This place is so unique! I love how they serve everything in dog bowls. They are located in a small shopping strip. It may look like a little hole in the wall on the outside, but just ignore that. The best burgers and hot dogs in Myrtle! Everything here is homemade and fresh, Jersey style! Joey himself welcomed us and two other employees explained the menu to us. I thought it was really cool how every time the door opened, there would be a barking sound. I ordered a single patty burger with fries. On the menu it said that it came with fries and onion rings but when ordering, my friend said it was either or. I think that my friend was just confused and misunderstood by the employee because someone else received fries and onion rings with their dog bowl. The burger was good, as well as the home cut fries and onion rings. I would definitely order the mozzarella sticks again because they are absolutely delicious. Also homemade, it was the best mozzarella sticks I have ever ate! The employees are extremely nice and delivered great service. Also, the prices are good! Definitely try this place out for sure.

Soggy onion rings, the lettuce and tomato were the same way, as well as the fries. The beef in the burger was good, but the food is overpriced for what you get. Probably good people running it, but when I am looking at reviews, I want an honest evaluation of the food, not a planted review

Yummy! Fantastic American food! Everyone who works here is pleasant and friendly. They make the fries and onion rings in house! I had the Joey Dog Bowl. It was plenty of food and reasonably priced!

Well sometimes you just need to satisfy your hot dog craving and that’s exactly what we did. Love the cozy, hometown, non-chain feel of this place. Walked in and felt like regulars and the other customers were super nice too. If you want fancy, fru-fru healthy stuff, don’t come here. If you want some very tasty comfort food without pretense, you’ll be happy. I am from Baltimore originally where my hot dogs come with a ton of mustard and relish but this time I tried my very first chili dog and I’m a fan! Very tasty and satisfying. The fries and onion rings were quite delicious too. I love places where I can refill my fountain drink as many times as I want without feeling judged. Lol We shall be back!

I love places like this. The owner Joey … Shows up for work every day, puts his heart and soul into his place and makes it a warm inviting bite to eat. The whole dog theme is neat and unique, the video games and definitely the jukebox filled with 80s tunes help bring warmth and style to the joint. The pictures on the walls tell tales of many satisfied guests that have crossed his path over the years. I don’t know if I’ll be back to myrtle beach anytime soon, but I do know. As long as Joey is around he’ll be doing what he loves to do everyday and his customers will be thankful for it.

We vacation every year at Ocean Lakes for 2 weeks and Joey Doggs is just across the street. The burgers are the best I have ever had. So good in fact that this last vacation I went there 8 times. The owners are great and take pride in their product. I always look forward to my vacation and my double cheese burgers at Joey Doggs

A must try especially if you like chili cheese fries or chili dogs. I can’t figure out why people go next door to McDonald’s and pay the same price for crap.

Seriously? I usually work hard to give rave reviews for local business but… Food served in a dog bowl is not my idea of a great presentation… it’s a dog bowl… I know I know they are trying to be funny and edgy with the theme But!!! The hot dogs are decent albeit I am spoiled by all beef franks and not the ones that rhyme with foscar dyer… I, like a dog to be about 9″ in length, about an inch and a half in thickness and a Never boiled!!! Grill it, fry it, cook it over coals but Never boil it, all you do is leech out the god given fat god put I it. Also the bun should be fresh not from Costco. A nice brown mustard would be a nice accrutremont. Also maybe different types of meats like New York sausages, Brats, ect. The price is a little steep for two hot dogs fries and a drink but doable… the décor is frank, no frills booth style seating and way to much lighting. I feel like I’m back working in a OR. The owners are friendly enough and I won’t count against them because they are Yankees But… If if I were them I would stop touting and pitching cutesy«dog house» hotdog theme and, change the theme and mantra to match their accents. «youse talkin to me» and use that for your schtick. Why not call it the Food Fella Dog? Turn down the lights, make the décor more like a eatery the Teflon Don would be seen in… Give that to you for free
