A friend and I went to grab a quick meal at the location by dicks pawn and as soon as we walked in a server looked at us and turned back to talking to a coworker. Other customers were siting there with no drink and no food, after siting for maybe 8 minutes we realized no one was going to greet us let alone serve us. We left and went to the 544 location

Visited on New Years Day. Dorothy was an amazing server and greeted me with a genuine attitude and smile. Order was in and food got here quickly. I was more than satisfied.

If you’ve been to Waffle House before then you know what to expect. If not, it’s a sort of cross between a diner and a truck stop. The «cuisine» is basic but very good for what it is.
This one is clean. The staff are great. Good speed and accuracy. This is where you want to go if it’s summer. Not so great during the fall after either hs or college football — it packs. But in tourist season they get less traffic than most of the other locations.
If you’re a Yankee — try some grits.

Scattered all the way hash browns with 2 eggs over easy and grits is so good that I’ve never had the waffles here. Looking for a nice environment? Keep driving. Looking for delicious truck stop food where they scream your order to the cook and is delivered by a woman smoking a cigarette? Bam!
