Always fresh and yummy! I’ve tried a variety of items here and I have always been pleased. This is a great lunch spot.

The good: Great food, high speed wifi, decent customer service. The bad: No Military discounts unless you’re in uniform. As a 32 year Retired, Disabled, Military Veteran, I no longer wear the uniform. It would be nice if they honored Veterans.

Great corn crab chowder and the sandwiches were great. Good value for the money and ample seating. Employees were very helpful and friendly.

This is my first visit. The place is casual and not too expensive. However, the cashier was in such a rush to take my order that she cut me off and got my order wrong. I wanted the five cheese Mac n cheese. I got the five cheese pizza. I wouldn’t call it pizza. It is tomatoes and cheese on a flat bread. The taste is mediocre. The sweet tea is average. I would recommend trying a different item or eat some place else.

This is a wonderful sandwich place. Recurring problem is the soup. Great choices, however it is seldom hot. Tepid soup is not acceptable and to be told that they have no way to warm it is an incomplete answer. So we take it home.

This restaurant is very healthy, and with healthy food comes a great price. I did not think the food was all that great. To pay the price that I did seem to bit outrageous to me. I’ve been there twice, and have no plans to go back. It was nothing special about their food, their portions are very small. Service is always been really good when I’ve gone there, the restaurant is really clean, and family-friendly.

This place has very good and has well made fresh food. It was busy at lunch, but we placed our order 10mins later, found our booth, and had our food another 7 minutes. Wife had the Tomato Basil soup(huge bowl) with a Baguette-style grilled cheese: both were good. I had the Newks-Q Sabdwich: very tasty, avg size, with a nice, tangy sauce. Maybe the best thing we tried was the Mac & Cheese: it was Fabuloso!!! The Pineapple cake was ok. We’ll try it again next time in town. Their salad and pizza menu is lengthy and looks good.

The food here is very good, have not been disappointed yet. They also have vegetarian options, which is a plus, and they even make their own homemade cakes(the strawberry cake is to die for!!) The staff is friendly and the establishment is very clean. I would recommend this place and I will be returning here often.

Awesome food, great service and outstanding location. My girlfriend and I frequent this restaurant regularly. Their entrées are tasty and the customer service is above average. I would recommend everyone to eat here when they visit Nacogdoches!

Wow. This place is top notch. Very clean. Very professional staff. The manager does a great job at keeping this place running. Best food in town. Everything on the menu is good. A little pricy but well worth it. Delicious.

Great causal place serving large salads, fresh soups and sandwiches. The salads are very large and filling but covered in too much dressing. I had the steak and blue cheese salad. I tried several of the soups over a few visits which were all tasty. The lobster bisque is especially good. Friendly staff. Definitely, one of the nicer places for lunch in the area. I will return again when in the area for business.

Newks has lots of soup/salad/sandwich combinations and now serves beer and wine. My two experiences with salad here have told me that they add way too much dressing. If this isn’t what you like, order dressing on the side. It’s a dependably good place for lunch at about $ 10 per person.

Love their vegetarian club and tomato basil soup also there zesty black bean and vegetable soup too! Greek salad and veggie pizza is good and they have pretty good deserts it reminds me of California Pizza Kitchen only without the appetizers.

I’ve never had bad food here. The sandwiches are delicious and I love their soup. The lobster bisque is delicious but only available a couple days a week. My husband lives their pimiento mac and cheese, and it really is some of the cheesiest macaroni around. Great for lunch or a light dinner.

I loved my pesto chicken sandwich on a croissant. The meat was a tad over cooked and dried out. Perhaps a bit more pesto. But loved all the flavors & texture. Yummo delish for sure.

Three of us had lunch. I had simply salad. Added the grilled chicken for $ 3.50. Came to table and grilled chicken was shaved chicken sandwich meat. No taste. Took off and ate lettuce. Other two had half sandwich and salad/soup. Sandwiches were good. Salad over dressed — soup was nothing special. Probably won’t go back.

New place in town — and well worth a visit. They offer an eclectic menu so there’s sure to be something for everyone. I had the half order of Mac and Cheese and that was plenty for lunch. My husband, a pizza connoisseur, says the Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza is the best he’s had in Texas. The folks with us shared a Smoked Ham Toasted Sandwich and a bowl of Loaded Potato Soup and both got rave reviews. All agreed portion sizes were more than adequate. Atmosphere is pleasant, if a tiny bit on the noisy side. Nice array of condiments that you don’t see in other places — including some crispy bread sticks.
