Raising canes is really good if you want a simple meal with chicken. It is not quite like Chick-fil-A has its own batter. I preferred Chick-fil-A, but raising canes prices are a little bit better. Not a whole big menu, but it is decent enough to where I can give it four stars. It’s not too bad. Service has been great every time I’ve gone here, the restaurant is clean and family-friendly.

First off if your really indecisive Raising Canes is for you because they only give you four options for the combos so it made it really easy to choose. I’m one of those people who takes forever to decide what I want but they made it really easy for me. I got the box combo with four strips, coleslaw, Texas toast, french fries, and a sweet tea. To me, the sweet tea was better than chik fil a’s! The chicken was really juicy on this inside, which I loved. The toast was amazing, everything was good to me! & yes the Canes sauce is as good as everyone raves about I’m giving it four stars instead of five because it’s a little pricy to me.

Soggy fries, and whoever cooked the chicken at 9 tonight decided to leave their hair with it. Not eating here again.

After all these years I’ve been in Nac and Raising Cane’s has been here, I finally tried their food for the FIRST time like 2 weeks ago, and truthfully I didn’t pay for it. The guy I was dating is obsessed with their food, and insisted that’s where we get dinner from, so I let him get me some food. It wasn’t bad but definitely more on the commercial side of chicken fingers, the one thing really going for y’all is that freaking sauce. I could definitely dig that sauce, but it really wasn’t overly impressive in general.

Okay. I’m sorry. I don’t normally review fast food places but I have to review this one. AND I have to give it 5 stars. Why? Because its on a par with Le Bernadin or The French Laundry? No. Because its the best restaurant in Nacogdoches? No(well, maybe but we’ll get back to that later). Then why? Because, when I look up restaurants in Nacogdoches and I’m looking for a place to eat and I see Clear Springs and Auntie Pasta’s with 4 stars and Raising Canes with 3, it makes me want to kill somebody(not really… please don’t filter me). Auntie Pasta sucks. Clear Spings sucks. Raising Canes is solid fast food. Second only to Chick Fil A. Therefore, Unilocal is misleading and it’s my job to set the record straight and make all things right in the world. If more would do the same, the world would be a better place! «Chickety Chick Chick Chicken, which combo are you pickin’?» Love that shit! Smiley face and a star.

Good chicken tenders. GREAT sauce. Little pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Excellent chicken. Good toast. Great tea. Fries and slaw are not worth it. Get in the cainnacs club and get your card. It’s worth a freebie occasionally.

Terrible. Go to Chicken Express if you want fast food strips.

The best chicken finger place in Nacogdoches! The chicken fingers are always fresh cooked, the fries are always tasty, and the toast is yummy. These are just about the only things you can order at Raising Cane’s! The sauce is what makes this place the absolute best, we eat it on our chicken, toast, and fries!

Great chicken strips and toast. The fries are mediocre The sauce is awful. I wish they would have another option. I know I am missing the point of the whole«one love» thing. I usually just get strips to go. Once, I did sneak a bottle of KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce into the restaurant in my purse and poured on my chicken. The BBQ sauce was great. Good root beer and ice too.

Cane’s is way overrated! There sauce is nasty! Chicken was alright, not a big fan of chicken tenders. Kinda expensive too. Only thing I liked was the toast that came with my meal.

This chain does a good, consistent job with chicken strips. This is the second location I have been to and the food was identical in quality to the first. Chicken strips, crinkle-cut fries, and slaw. I guess they always include pictures from local colleges in the décor.

I went to the original Raising Cane’s in Baton Rouge years ago, and I fell in love… with Cane’s sauce. I have literally driven with my friend from Houston to Baton Rouge just to eat here. I got SO excited when I found out they were expanding. It’s the perfect chicken finger/sauce combination. I wish they didn’t have crinkle fries though. I’m not knocking them a star for that, it’s just a personal preference. I’m vegetarian now, but I can still eat fries and Cane’s Sauce. They also will sell you a 32oz cup of just sauce. Imagine the unlimited culinary applications!

This Raising Cane’s location is awesome. Just a few blocks from where my house was, this place effectively killed my obsession with another chicken strip joint across town. If you’ve never been to one, they offer chicken strips, chicken strip sandwiches, and chicken strip wraps, and that’s about it… this specialization isn’t much for variety but it also means they know their way around a piece of poultry. Easily, my go to spot in town.
