Denny’s

My my my! I’ve been to like over 10 different Denny’s restaurants in my life and I’m absolutely impressed by the waitress that was in charge our table. She was so fast and persistent. Me and my boyfriend got the most complicating orders and she was just spot on with everything. I’m really impressed. Thank you so much for making this such a great experience !!! I believe her name was Melissa. She was so fast I had just a glance at it

The food was terrible. And that is disappointing cause we always depend on Denny’s to serve a food meal. It was cold and it made us sick when we got home that nite. The restaurant was dirty. Trash on the floor. And the floor hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Very disappointing.

I normally do not review chains because… well…they all serve the same dishes the same way. But after dropping into another restaurant, that has been on my list for a while, and finding it loud and more sports-​bar like than I had anticipated (the bartender shouted at us from behind the bar to «have a seat») we turned around and left.
Denny’s was on the way home, so why not? This Denny’s location is a step up from the norm. It’s much cleaner and the wait staff is on top of things.
I had the best Philly cheesesteak sandwich that was freshly made with very tender beef, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms topped with American cheese. We lived in the Philly area for several years and this is right up there as one of my favorites.
Hub had an «all American» chicken fried steak with mashies and gravy over everything, of course. He said it was tasty and substantial. The salad was made with ice cold chopped lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, croutons, grated cheese, and a great tart dressing.
Some days just call for comfort food and this Denny’s does not disappoint.

Surprisingly enough this was a good breakfast! I am not a fan of Dennys at all. But, we were right across the street and needed to get our day started so we decided to roll the dice and give it a shot. Both me and my wife had the 55+ egg white omelet and it was very good. The coffee was fresh and the service was on point! If I am ever in the area again I will stop again to see if they can do it twice!

I went to Denny’s the other day, had a Philly cheese sandwich and I got food poisoning that evening. The food had a different taste to it, I thought it was maybe the sauce that I was not familiar with, so I ate it. I did not want to bother to reorder because I was in a hurry. My boyfriend had asked for mashed potatoes with his meal instead of fries, they gave him fries. The waitress was very rude, short, never came back to ask us if we wanted a refill on our drinks. I’ve experienced several different times where the staff just does not seem to know what they are doing. They act like they don’t care or do not like their jobs. The only good thing about Denny’s is the breakfast, they know how to make that. I should have stuck with the basic pancakes and eggs. They need to fire everyone at that location and start new!

Food was good. The $ 2 $ 4, $ 6, $ 8 menu is a good value. The waitstaff was especially friendly. Service was quick.

I’m from Dallas Tx and i’m visiting Nampa ID and cause i like the Denys breakfast i choose on this night to din on the the most NASTY Denys Restaurant that i was in my life ! NASTY NASTY NASTY

Wow these ladies are rockin’ it!!! It was a busy Friday night, several big groups but all of the staff were friendly, smiling and hustling! Service was fast and staff was attentive!!! Food was good, exactly as we ordered. I wish the restaurants in our hometown were this on top of their game. Thank you for the great service, this will definitely be our go to place when we are in Nampa!!!

A «to go» order should include plasticware and jelly/​catsup/​salt/​pepper maybe. The servers were really busy and running around despite the place being about half capacity. No one was standing around, yet it took over 40 minutes to get my food.
Signs in different areas indicated it was also a lounge but if it werent for those, I wouldn’t have known.

This is THE only Denny’s we will ever go to! We usually avoid them at all costs. However, we were running behind and needed to get the day started and this was the closest to our hotel. We were seated quickly, waited on by an upbeat, friendly waiter and our food was fresh and piping hot. We also received 15% off when we showed them our room key to our hotel. You may ask, why the 5 stars? Simple, most Denny’s don’t even deserve to get rated in our book!

My review is specifically for the Denny’s Lounge. I sometimes go to karaōke night here (which is just about every night). I’ve mostly been on Saturdays and there is always an eclectic crowd of friendly people, some regulars, some newbies, but all are treated with respect by the staff and everyone who sings gets a hand. This is one of my favorite places to go to sing — and they have one of the better books in the valley… However, I’m only giving 3 stars because the other 2 stars went up in smoke — literally. The only way this place could be better (besides continually adding to their book) is if they only allowed smoking outside. Some nights I’ve had to leave because it’s so smoky. Not good for the eyes or the lungs — or your hair when you get home and need to take a shower just to wash the smell out. Yuck!

When I was younger and my grandparents lived on the northside of Nampa, Denny’s was my beacon. When I saw that monument sign hovering over i-​84, I knew I was not far from my grandparent’s home.
Sure Denny’s is Denny’s but at the time it was heaven and I couldn’t wait to have our first meal after arriving there. In my youth I recall having a kids pancake platter which always had a smiley face with whipped cream. My grandma would always point out that my pancakes were smiling at me and happy like she was to have me there. She was such a woman with her fiery red hair and an even more blazing personality.
Now it’s a quick stop if on that side of town but it’s still about the same quality I remember.
I miss my grandma!

Great service, great food for a chain box eating place. No complaints and much better than that scary Sherri’s place. It was the only place open on Christmas when I was on a road trip.
