I was amazed at this pearl of a find. The restaurant is very clean and the food, ohh lala. I love their salmon and shrimp skewers. This is my first time here and I can’t wait to come back. The staff was also very well mannered I appreciate businesses like this hope they expand.

Wanted to try something new rather than go to the same restaurants I usually go to. Found this place on Unilocal and the reviews seemed good so I took my family with me to try it out. When we first walked in we were greeted by the young man behind the register. He was very nice and answered any questions we had. The place was spacious and clean, with a lot of seating. I got the Loco Moco with macaroni salad, pineapple fried rice, and corn. My brother got the iburger with bacon and the works, my mother a grilled chicken wrap, and a friend got the white chicken grill with a house salad, white rice, and corn. The Loco Moco was okay. The hamburger patty was a little burnt, which kinda ruined the flavor. The macaroni salad was weird. I had read that it lacked the taste of mayonnaise, which it did, but it was also bland. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. The pineapple fried rice was delicious, especially with the fried egg and the corn was pretty good too. The wrap with the house sauce was great. My mother, who never finishes her meal, ate it right up. She also got fries which she wasn’t too impressed with. I tried them, and while they were flavorful, they were pretty soggy. My brother enjoyed his burger as well. My friend who got the chicken was happy, but said the Hawaiian BBQ sauce was nothing special. He did enjoy the house salad which had pineapples in it. What I absolutely did not like though was the lack of an itemized receipt. The guy at the register was inputting everything but there was nothing to see what prices he put and extra charges was added for items such as bacon. When we got the receipt it was just a credit card copy, nothing with the break down of prices. I had to do a breakdown with the menu myself, which was annoying. Also, it took awhile for the food to be cooked even though we were the only 4 there. Overall, the food was good and the staff was really nice. But, the food just wasn’t amazing. The wait for food is slow and I’m still suspicious of their lack of an itemized receipt. I’ll be back though to try out other items in their menu.

I am a fan… The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious. The pineapple fried rice with a fried egg on top really hit the spot! The steamed vegetables were cooked to perfection! Definitely give this place a shot. The Hawaiian sauce is just so yummy! And the people behind the counter are super friendly!

I’m giving this place 5 stars because no where on the east coast(let alone Rockland countu) are you finding good, authentic Hawaiian food… except for here. If you’ve ever been to Hawaii and experienced all the glory that is a loco moco, then you understand my excitement/nervousness when trying iGrill. They however did not disappoint. Loco moco is a Hawaiian dish which consists of a hamburger, topped with a fried egg, gravy and a side of white rice. All the components of their loco moco are on point: burger is not a cheap tasting burger and is cooked properly, the gravy is thick and salty without being to heavy or rich, and I get mine with the Pinapple fried rice instead of traditional white rice and love it. Big fan, go pay them a visit or two, and spread the word. I want this place to stay.

Good food. Nice staff. Hawaiian food is a nice change from other restaurants in the area. The Loco Moco was very good. I also really enjoyed the pineapple fried rice, and salad that came with it. I’ll be back.

I’m very impressed with the quality & portion with their combos. These meals can easily be $ 15-$ 20 at fancy restaurants. I was stunned to get 2 large pieces of salmons grilled nicely for mere $ 11.99 with 3 sides ! Will be coming back real soon.

Good place to get tasty food quickly. Prices aren’t bad either. Not a huge fan of the Loco moco. In my opinion it was a bit too dense. I really enjoyed my pineapple fried rice and my friends chicken was pretty good. The chicken was a bit dry and flattened, but good seasoning. Great place to study. I practically stayed there the whole day. The staff was super nice about it. Atomosphere:clean, modern and welcoming! Good vibes. Ohh and they have free wifi, ayyy!

We went in to iGrill a couple nights ago around 8, and there was one other couple there. This didn’t deter my interest here. With the start of school, and the late hour(mid-week) I wasn’t to shocked. The counter person was very friendly, and explained to us how the menu works. Basically most every dish is customizable, as to containing any protein, sauce, side dish. We had the loko moko(a hawaiian hamburger with a fried egg and gravy), and a noodle bowl, to share. Both were were very good. The noodle bowl had 3 different choices of soup stock to choose from, and on this occassion we had the house version, which was peppery and a tad sweet. Soy and miso are the other choices. The location of iGrill is tough. Many restaurants have failed here, including the exceptional Marigrills a few years ago. It is kind of hidden, set back from the pool hall. Now that there is a regular traffic stream into the site of the old Nanuet Mall, hopefully other people will find this place. I would recommend take-out. But order ahead, because the cook time is a bit long. But worthwhile. 2 Cons here. One is the name. iGrill does not even describe the style of food. I guess they didn’t want Hula, or Hawaii or Maui in the name. Other con … plastic flatware is in one open bowl to take. Not individually wrapped and definitely unhygienic.

Right when you walk in, clean open atmosphere. It’s something out of Fort lee/Edgewater NJ that made its way into Rockland county. First and foremost their white rice is actually true to the white rice you would make at home for those that buy rice by the massive pound. I know it’s just ‘white rice’ to some people but my fellow Asians, I believe for the first time I feel like at home lol(My family buys jasmine rice FYI) The Loco moco– Grilled ground beef patty that falls apart beautifully with gravy to top it off. It is super lite in gravy, just the right consistency/texture. Fried egg-what can I say, who doesn’t love a fried egg with their meal? Macaroni salad-I’m not a fan of the macaroni salad in general BUT this actually is quite nice. It’s not your typical drenched Mayo macaroni salad. Again, very lite and not even close to a massive hint of Mayo. If you like the heavy artificial Mayo thing, then this isn’t for you. Bottom line is, it’s superb. I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu. HAPPYEATING! …did I mention the White rice?

I ate here a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. It was the first time we had Hawaiian food and we both loved it. The pineapple rice was delicious and well worth the try. I had the loco moco which is pretty much a hamburger with egg and gravy on top. I’m not sure whats in the chop meat but it was very good. My girlfriend got the chicken which was also delicious. We will both definitely be back for more.

At first I was excited to here that there was a Hawaiian place in Rockland County, but after trying it. well I was not impressed. The atmosphere of the place was cool with the different lights and outdoor seating but the service wasn’t that great – it took forever for them to take my food order and when i got it… the chicken was extremely dry and there was nothing special about the sauce – it was almost like they dipped the grilled chicken into store bought bbq sauce. Not worth the money or hassle, should’ve just went somewhere else.

Great place! I lived in California for a while where Hawaiian BBQ was easy to get. So hearing about this place had me very excited. It is the only one around and that’s ok because it just means they will have my business as often as I can get there. So full review… let’s start with location: nanuet mall south next to Diamond Jim’s. Tons of parking but I suggest parking in the bigger Macy’s lot and walking across. It’s an easy spot to find. Next atmosphere: décor is light and fun, plenty of space and comfortable. Food: the cuisine is AWESOME! So far I have been there with people who have tried the white meat chicken, dark meat chicken, the loco moco, the pineapple fried rice, the macaroni, and the noodles. The chicken dishes are classic with sides of pineapple fried rice and macaroni. Use the house sauce or the Hawaiian BBQ sauce or try the other two, which I have not yet. This is of course my favorite. Also throw a fried egg onto your fried rice it makes it all the better! The noodles are done well, ramen style with Bok Choy and chicken. There is siracha on the counter because who doesn’t out siracha in their noodles! Last but not least and most important I asked for spam Masubi, they didn’t have it… however, they said they will have it soon!!! Go eat here because I need it to stay in Business!!!
