Always smells yummy as expected. The staff is awesome and knowledgable. The music is always good and I always leave soap and bath balm rich! I love the fact that I can walk in and chat it up with any sales rep and they always offer just the right product for whatever I may be needing at the time. There is something for everyone in there. I tend to walk out with one of each something… It’s all well worth it though considering the products are natural and handmade. If you’re looking for a gift for a special someone, this is a great place to consider. It’s good for friends, kids(bath balms), teens, mom,… Coworker. If you’re looking for a quick grab bag gift or a «prize» for a party game like for example, a bridal shower or the like, I’d recommend this place. Who doesn’t like baths, masks, massage bars or smelling delicious? We all love it but the majority of us(maybe you readers [not me]) don’t make a concerted effort to specifically shop for those types of products. I encourage you to do so… At least once or thrice times. Go see what the hype is all about. Let a rep do a demonstration. Get a hydrating hand mask or something so you can experience the lush. You may bump into me… I’m a total frequent flyer! Ciao!

I absolutely love lush. I’ve never been and have heard amazing things so I decided to check it out. I was immediately greeted by Jamie and she basically gave me a tour of the entire place. I was amazed by her knowledge of the products and of the company in general. I wasn’t planning on spending any money but the prices weren’t too pricey cause I knew exactly what was in them. Definitely will return!

AmAzing! They offer so many products(soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, boobie cream– seriously, and other cosmetics)! They use fresh organic fruits and vegetables, and essential oils to make their handmade products. In this review im going to review their shampoo. I freggin love it, excuse my language. Honestly, I have the weirdest hair… it’s thin, curly, frizzy and is fequently described as a rats nest(I’m Asian minus the typical nice, straight, thick wolf-like hair). I thought nothing would ever control all this cray. Until my lil sister, whom of which has very expensive taste, restored my faith with LUSH! After using their shampoo once, it already feels voluminous, moisturized and healthier. I got the Cynthia shampoo. It smells a little like booze but it gets the job done! I just wish they had a bigger bottle. I can’t wait to try their bar shampoos. It seems expensive for a small bar, but it’s actually quite economical. A given bar should allow for 60 – 80 washes.

The staff is so helpful, and friendly. They made great suggestions, and helped pick out products to fit my needs. One of the staff members sat down with me to explain each product we chose, and demonstrated on my arms how to use them. Out of the 5 products we had picked out I bought 3, but I’m pretty sure I will be back next week for the other two!

The first time I visited this store it was a little intimidating because the products are a little different than what you’d see elsewhere and the stores smell amazing but strong. However, the sales staff is very friendly — they let me browse uninterrupted when that’s what I wanted and were happy to help or demo anything I had questions about. LUSH is serious about being truly cruelty free, responsible sourcing of ingredients and being environmentally friendly. There is a sticker on each product so you can see the name and an illustration of the person that made the product along with the date the product was made and the expiration date. Super cool. They have a ton of different skincare, haircare, bath, body and shower products that have a lot of natural ingredients and minimal synthetic additives. And then there’s the perfume, cosmetics etc. I love being able to try before I buy. There is also a very generous return/exchange policy. I am addicted to this store now — it’s crazy. A few of my favorites: Ocean Salt(face scrub) — it’s a pretty blue color, smells like margaritas and leaves my face so soft and clean. It’s Raining Men shower gel — smells like honey/toffee/orange blossom, lathers like a dream and makes any shower a luxurious experience. LUSH is definitely worth a trip.

Though they are a Canadian based company, my first LUSH experience was in Austin. I was intrigued by their vegan and cruelty free lotions and potions as well as all the colors and scents of their offerings. I fell madly in love with their Catastrophe Cosmetic mask, an anti-oxidant rich blueberry face mask but since it needed to be refrigerated and we were in Austin, hot as balls, I had to put it in my memory’s file and not on my face. So when I was recently in Nanuet at the wonderful newly reconfigured Shops at Nanuet and saw Lush, and it is cold out, I knew that mask would soon be mine. I happened upon a very sweet and lovely sales person. She walked me through their line and recommended several products to both me and The L. Lush even has a men’s line(Cosmetic Lad is one option)! We sniffed and smeared our way through the shop and made a modest pile to purchase. I particularly loved the Tiny Hands hand shaped body butter and that CC mask so I got one of each. Though Sephora is also at The Shops, the experience at Lush with the great sales help and their numerous animal friendly products will have me be a return client. They are famous for their soaps and for their bath bombs. I wish I had a worthy tub! Yes the stuff is pricey but one is paying for quality you can see and dare I say taste. Don’t tell. ;)))
