Staples the Office Superstore

Saw a perfect storm of incompetent and understaffed personnel when I was here waiting to make a simple shipment. After 25 minutes in line (next one up) without acknowledgment and then having an employee start working with someone else — I left

lousy return policy, my «staples» stapler broke and I had no reciept so they would not give me credit or a replacement

We have used the copy center for YEARS for our small business needs. It used to be awesome, seriously we would never have trouble
I don’t know what happened but the copy center is tired, messy, inefficient and unorganized. I have waited 6 hours (not at the store) for a couple of posters that should have taken ½ hour tops. Kim in the copy center is nice, and super helpful, but the beast she works for is lame

Needed to print some posters they are very unprofessional they don’t know what are they doing customers service very poor the kept me waiting for 20 minutes just sow they can hand me the print I order I’m never coming back

I was in a rush as I was meeting someone for lunch but needed to get some ink for my epson printer. It was the epson 127 extra capacity black in a 2 pack. On the website it shows they had 2 in stock. So I was like alright, gonna swing by and get a pack. When I got there, I found the location where the items should have been hanging but they were not there. WTF?!? I immediately checked my iphone again and it still showed 2 in stock! They had one register open and there were honestly 5 – 7 people in line (guess they didn’t call code 3 which is like retail code for WE NEED HELP WITH THE REGISTER MAN!) Pretty disappointed. I would come back again but next time, I need to be ready for this. I mean they were supposed to have TWO! Also there was NO one around to help me as they seem pretty short staffed. I normally don’t mind them being short staffed as the economy is not that great and every retail is trying to cut corners, but how about a little organization?
BTW I checked Office Depot’s website and the one at Nanuet by Petsmart had one in stock and when I got there, they GOT IT! And to boot, it was August 24 IIRC and OD had a $ 10 off 50 or more coupon on its website which I could use in store. It was the last day to use the coupon too. Talk about working out!

Ordered new ink and got free delivery without having a minimum amount for free shipping. Not giving five stars cuz they say next day delivery and I ordered Weds and received Friday — still pretty good considering they were cheapest too compared to the other places I checked out.

If you have a spare hour to wait for one simple thing to be printed by all means this is the place to go. Service is pretty horrendous. I’ve had issues at this particular location on more than one occasion.
