You don’t feel welcome in this place. I walked in and went to the counter only to be told that«it’s going to be a while» as if she’s telling me to go away. I said that’s fine– how many people are in front of me? The lady who seemed to hate her job said 3. There were 4 hairstylists so I didn’t understand the problem or attitude. The receptionist/hair stylist asked me to have a seat. There were 4 other customers sitting on the benches. I asked her if she needed to check me in(put me on the list) but she said no just sit anywhere. 5 minutes later, after 3 other customers walked in, another stylist came by and said who’s next? After everyone looking at each other, nodding and pointing, one of us said me. A few minutes later another stylist asked who’s next? One guy said he was, only to get interrupted by a lady sitting a few seats away from him saying I’m next not him. This lady came in after me so she was cutting in front of all of us but who wants to make a scene? The guy apologized and let her go next. A couple of minutes later same question; who’s next? I told her that the guy was next and that they need to check us in in the order we came in. The customers were all happy and confirming that we needed that, yet all the stylists were just starring at us and at each other. Weird, uncomfortable and unnecessary. We were then brought a clipboard and were asked to write our names in order. The haircut was fine but I’m definitely not coming back to this place.

Awful service from some«ghetto» Hispanic girl. She spoke illiterately and was dressed inappropriately. I told her exactly what I wanted for my daughters hair and she insisted on doing what she wanted. I also asked for a straight trim to the bottom layers of my haircut. THATSALL. Now I wouldn’t normally go to someone Im not used to, but these were very simple instructions which I feel anyone could have followed. I also wanted to wait for another haircut my my regular stylist. I specifically asked her not to touch my layers and she did anyway and ruined it. My hair looks ridiculous and I have to wait a week to get in with my normal stylist. I guess I’m the fool for trusting a supercuts. Obviously I won’t be returning.

Love this place! I go here at least once a month. I have shopped at several other supercuts but this is my favorite. All the stylist are so friendly and attentive. I usually walk in and never have a problem getting service even if it’s near closing time(which I do often). Very patient and they always want to please the customer. The manager is very professional and the place is very clean. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive haircut with a welcoming attitude.

I was a customer for over 2 years and had wonderful stylists. Had my 4 children hair and myself done there. I recently was in there and during my 5 year old getting her hair cut, another stylist verbal assaulted me because my 4year old was playing on a chair. Mind you I was correcting hte child over and over again, but she is 4 years old and chairs are fun to her. When I asked the stylist” why are you yelling at me, I’m correcting her?” she then went bonkers and started saying«Yo, «B» it s too early for this someone better tell this B… I ain’t dealing with this, your kids are animals. My daughter, 4 year old said Im not an animal, mommy. I said no youre not. I asked for the manager to get on the phone and that when she calls the manager to make sure she uses the tone and mannerism. She said oh I will you think I’m scared of her… I asked to speak to the manager, on the phone, and was told by the irate stylist that the manager refused. I insisted and was given the phone. while Jasmine, the stylist walked away talking to herself about what I was in for. I explained to the manager that this display of customer service was unacceptable and her not doing anything about it is condoning her behavior and that my children are with me witnessing this. She did nothing, not even an apology and said put Jasmine back on the phone please(as she could still hear her in the background yelling at me) Jasmine got back on the phone as I was paying the bill to the lovely girl, Maya who cut my daughters hair I assured her this was not her fault and Jasmine again started yelling at me telling«you dont know when to shut up»(she had the phone in her hand manager listening) She then said to the Manager«tell this b**ch to get out the store now before sh*t gets real», I took my children and said I am calling the police youre threatening me… she said really? yeah you ain’t got no clue. I contacted Corporate IMMEDIATELY in my car, and again when I got home, NO reply yet from a district leader this was 3 days ago. Horrible person who should not be near scissors or children.

I had an 11am online checkin, got there at 10:55. At 1130 they handed me clipboard to write my name on. Terrible way to run a business they were obviously taking people who walked in after me without checking in. My prior experience with them was pretty good so I was a little taken back by this kind of treatment, never again.

It’s $ 20 for a wash and cut. Just to blow dry your hair is an extra $ 10. I was able to walk right in without an appointment. Didn’t have to wait long. They wash and cut your hair pretty quick. If you just want a trim, it’s a good place to go to.

Walked in. Asked, how can she help me. Told her I need a hair cut. Rather than saying, «Sorry, you’re gonna have to wait few minutes because we have few people ahead of you», she just said«it’s gonna be a lil while!». So I asked again, how many people are there?. She again replied the same«A little while». But she seem to have a good ol’ jolly time with the other customers. I am not sure whether this has to do with the color of my skin, but I didn’t feel welcome at all. There is a saloon right next to this barbershop. So I don’t understand the reason for her unwelcoming attitude just towards me. All I did was walk in and tell her«I need a hair cut» in a perfectly normal tone/attitude/voice. I asked for a Manager before leaving. But guess what? She’s the manager. I won’t be going back there anymore. There are tons of other barbershops in Nanuet and surrounding areas. I don’t see the reason to go here just for a haircut. This is a joke.
