Been here for a few times now when the weather allows us to sit out on the back patio and chomp on a sourdough burger and watch the golf carts whiz by, the motors droning sadly as they transport the puffy bodies from one tee off to the next. The food is better than okay. The service is not tippable really. You order and pay up front and then they bring out the food to your table. What brings us back is the tasty burgers and the cold beers… the laughs and the nice weather… the spring time birds perched on the oak trees… the maintenance guy perched in his lawnmower underneath the pine trees… the fact that it’s an ideal escape from the cubicle. There are no stray golf balls hitting your side salad to report. The balls are all flying the other way. We’ve never been when it’s overcast or when it’s dark… just when the sun is out and we feel like taking in some fresh air at the golf course.
