They locked the doors before closing time… it only takes me a minute to grab my item and take it to the register and be checked out. Especially when there are employees cleaning up and walking around the store. I have worked in retail and«closes at 9» means doors lock at 9, not 8:50 just so employees can get home as fast as they can.

This is one of the biggest Dollar Trees I’ve visited. I didn’t even know some of them have a freezer section until I came here(including frozen entrees and frozen vegetables). Tons of items in this store and everything is $ 1. It was clean and well organized. In addition to the LA Colors line, the makeup section had Physician Formula makeup(eyeshadows and eyeliners). I saw the same eyeliner(slightly different packaging) at another store for $ 11. Pretty good deal for $ 1!

Dollar stores ain’t what they used to be. I used to love it, because my parents would buy me almost anything I asked for because it was only $ 1. My view on dollar stores has changed though, as now seen through the eyes of an adult. Am I invisible? An employee walked in the store and whizzed past me in an aisle, almost knocking me over. Even if this hot-shot dollar store employee was in a rush to clock in on time(he made a beeline for the back of the store), that’s no reason to nearly tackle me! Even though everything is $ 1, I don’t know what’s worth shopping for here. I checked out the Christmas décor, and I was looking for 3 – 4 items, all of which they did not have. The decorations remind me of stuff my grandma used to hang in her giant picture window: glittery snowmen and candy canes made of tinsel, and other cheap looking door hangings. This place is OK if you’re looking for cheapo stocking stuffers for a big group of kids(your own flock, or a classroom) — stickers, pens and pencils, tree ornaments, candy.

This dollar store has your typical dollar store product, but I give them 4 stars because of the service, the cashiers are always so nice. They never seem to have a chip on their shoulders. I stop into the Dollar tree weekly for my 1 dollar Chicago Tribune. If you are a deal-o-holic like me, then you get 2 or more papers a week in order to clip coupons, so getting the coupons for cheaper means I save more money, which is a huge plus in my book. Stop in for nice cashiers, cheap newspapers, and snacks for the movies.

This is your typical dollar store. Everything’s $ 1. They have knick knacks, toys, household items, personal care and grooming/hygiene items, cleaning supplies, food and snacks. Great place to get wrapping paper, gift bags, and stocking stuffers at Christmastime! Looks like they’ll be moving into a bigger location across the parking lot soon.
