I went to this store and have found the things I have been looking for. Clothes with price tags still on and brand name. Great selection for home décor. Friendly staff. I will return to this store.

Savers employeed need to learn how to price. I’ve seen things from IKEA that were priced higher than IKEA itself. Marshalls next door has cheaper newr items that Savers.

Friendly happy staff and a clean safe environment. Sale clerk Veronica Storc swept me away with an astonishing tour of the children’s toy department. My son Guillermo was very pleased. We can’t wait to continue to shop at savers for years to come. Thanks savers!

I am definitely a fan of Savers stores, but Savers ISNOTTHECHEAPESTTHRIFTSTORE. As a matter of fact, Savers has high end prices, as if it is a North Side of Chicago«Boutique.» Still, for me it is the THRILLOFTHEFIND! Truthfully, «THEFIND» can be really, really great at this location! Hence, it is still worth the trip! It is bright, clean, organized, and smells pretty good. There are friendly staff, and the bathrooms are available to the public(SCORE!) and pretty clean as well. If you are a member of the Savers club, you will receive e-mail notifications of the Monday Special, which is typically 40% to 50% of a particular category, such as men’s shorts, women’s jeans, furniture, etc. Additionally, Savers brand locations will occasionally hosts 50% off the entire store sales(REALLYCROWDEDOFCOURSE!). And, there is currently a purchase card, earning a stamp for every $ 5 spent. Earn 15 stamps and get 30% of a future visit by the card expiration date. Finally, there is typically an incentive for donations, which has varied from 20% coupon on future purchase, $ 3 off $ 10 future purchase, and currently there is another form of a stamp card, in which you earn one stamp per large donated bag. Each stamp is worth 5% until you accrue a total of 30% off of a future purchase.(BONUS– THEDONATIONSTAMPCARDDOESNOTEXPIREUNTILDECEMBER31st!). All of these types of incentives, as well as wonderful(yet slightly overpriced treasures) keep me coming back to Savers… I have found wonderful items such as boots, sandals, scarves, clutch purses, sporting goods, wine glasses, pillows, fabric remnants, a dresser, and the list goes on…

Pretty cool for a thrift shop, it usually has whatever I’m searching for. If you are into old furniture I always spot good pieces for good prices, but the clothing section seems really overpriced. I went in to buy an 80’s Neon costume. shorts, shirt, neon socks, and a headband– that came up to $ 20…not bad at a regular store, but high for a thrift store. What I LOVE is that it does not have that Mothball/Granny/Basement, dusty smell that some thrift stores have its also well lit And spacious.

As far as thrifting goes, Savers is my go to only when there is 50% off sales. I find their prices too expensive otherwise! I’d rather hunt a little more and find a great treasure elsewhere. I’d only ever shopped at the Savers in Downers Grove(since it is closest), so when I stopped into here, I was pretty astounded. The selection here was FAR superior to that of Downers Grove, which I guess shouldn’t be surprising, since it IS Naperville, but I didn’t think it’d be so drastic. I found such beautiful boots and in big sizes, and better brands all around. The clothes donated were more current as well. I didn’t end up buying anything here, except gift certificates(which I highly recommend for a thrifter in your life– $ 30 could get them hundreds of dollars worth of clothing!), which was a pleasant experience from the super friendly staff. I definitely will have to rethink my thrifting strategy for their next 50% off sale and come here instead!

My favorite thrift store in the area, with one preface: Wait for a sale!!! This location is so clean, it is crazy. Watch out Goodwill, your competition is fierce! Savers is color coded, by size, and by style type. The white floors and walls, and high ceilings, give the aura of a store of a higher-end than it really is. The ONLY negative is the price of items. They’re pretty highly priced for a thrift store. But unlike most thrift stores, there are regular sales on ALL the items in the store(not ones labeled a specific color). BONUS: Donate three bags and get 20% off your next purchase!

Dude, you gotta stop flirting with the female help and do your job!!! I did not realize that I was going to get a free show while shopping. Gave them 4 stars anyway. Clean, bright, nice selection, especially books. A bargain for scrubs. Always quite a few pictures. Knick knacks, housewares seemed less than usual.

The clothing is too expensive here for what this store is: a thrift store. Savers both on the outside and inside looks like a thrift store meets run-down TJMaxx meets Big Lots. The store is spacious, aisles are wide for many to browse and pass by, but some shelves are sparse with merchandise. I’ve purchased books here before, and I returned again to browse both books and clothing, since I’ve been doing well hunting for treasure at Goodwill. Books are $ 2 – 3, depending on original cover price. Books cost more than Goodwill, but less than a Half Price Books. And there are recent and popular titles on the shelves including Jodi Picoult, To Kill a Mockingbird, etc. The shelves aren’t bogged down with grocery store romance novels. They are also organized by genre, making for easy, fast browsing. Clothing is plentiful, but after seeing an Ann Taylor LOFT sweater for $ 20, and various other items for $ 12 – 15, I stopped looking. There were a few items here and there for $ 5. I ventured into the shoe area and noted a pair of Baby Phat heels for $ 10. The pricing is as if they are running a consignment store and selling designer goods. One thing I did notice, none of the clothes were ripped or stained, so it appears they likely look through their donations before deciding to put everything on the floor. However, the pricing just is not justified. I didn’t spend much time in the housewares. There are several aisles dedicated to kitchenware, knick-knacks and other house stuff. But the shelving is mostly empty, and it looks like a Big Lots liquidation sale. I’m not impressed. Great for bargain books, not worth it for anything else.
