I don’t know that I could have had a better experience than I did here. My wife called ahead to make sure, despite the clinic closing in 15 minutes, if I could get in, and they said it should not be a problem. Note that at the time there was a two hour wait at the MedSpring Urgent Care despite three patients in the lobby and a virtually empty lot. I get there and they were friendly and I was seen within 5 minutes. The real reason I felt compelled to write a review was because Sara Dabrowski. the PA-C, was on a different plane in terms of service, knowledge, and general hilarity than I’ve ever experienced in a walk-in clinic or doctor’s office. She took her time thoroughly checking every symptom, got to know me better, made me laugh the whole time, explained everything thoroughly, and took a genuine interest in my immediate and future health(recommended doctors since I’m new to Naperville). Now let’s hope I get better :)

I am brand new to the area and had no idea where to go for any medical issues. I recently had some really bad stomach pains; went into the Edward Walk-in Clinic and was pleasantly surprised to how accommodating Anne(the receptionist) and Sarah(PA) were. Sarah was very knowledgeable and very helpful in figuring out the beginning problems to my stomach issues. She suggested a generic prescription anti-biotic to start with and to follow up with another physician. Obviously, I will need to follow up with a regular physician, but this was a great start and would recommend going in to see the PAs there.

A few days before Christmas, I had an awful hacking cough and cold. I didn’t want to sniffle my way through the holiday, so I stopped in at this walk-in clinic the afternoon before Christmas Eve. The receptionist was really nice and didn’t seem annoyed when I walked in and interrupted her lunch, or when didn’t follow directions and fill out both forms. Oops. This clinic is located inside Jewel-Osco, so I felt a little exposed sitting on the bench, waiting, and watching people pushing grocery cards. As a precaution, they make you wear a mask, so I felt like people were staring at me like some ebola patient. The doctor I saw was also really nice, quickly took my vitals, and asked me a few questions before sending me off with a prescription for an antibiotic and a cough syrup(with codeine). I waited only 15 minutes at the pharmacy, AND I got a $ 25 Jewel gift card since I hadn’t filled anything with them before. The antibiotic and cough syrup worked like a dream. I felt better pretty quickly and only regret not coming here sooner.
