Horrible experience there today and I felt I needed to share. 11:30 on a Sunday, maybe 5 customers in the place and 1 waitress and 1 bartender(not a problem, for the #of patrons ;good number of employees to have) Our waitress was new so she needed help with a few things, no big deal; however the girl who was supposed to help her constantly disappeared and went who knows where so we always had to wait forever to get this and get that. The food was horrible and had absolutely no flavor. It then took a good 15−20min to get my bill. I even had to the bar to find out what was taking so long; just a joke

Decent food and service BUT, my waitress gave herself a $ 20.00 tip on my card. It could have been an innocent mistake on her part, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. The next day I went back and was refunded the difference.

Stopped here for a couple drinks while on a train crawl. Our bartender was attentive and friendly. Beer was cold. And she made a good amaretto stone sour. I like anywhere that has bedazzled bathrooms. And pinball machines.

Staff is unfriendly and only caters to the locals-beer seemed watered down and not very clean-won’t be back!!!

I am reserving my judgment for a second visit. I want to like this place, but… service was good, food was good and priced accordingly. 4 drinks, 2 appetizers =$ 39 so not so bad. The bar has a ‘local’ feel to it. Don’t be too dressed up because you will feel out of place. Not so many tables, you are going to be standing. Easy to park by. Inside has an 80’s feel to it, place desperately needs a makeover. A mixed group of local people and yuppies. No kids definitely. I don’t know, it doesn’t beat out the Lantern. Again, I want to like it more but reserving judgment

This is a great place to meet with friends or just hang out and watch a ballgame. They have an excellent kitchen(i highly recommend the toasted sub sandwich) Service is great and the staff is friendly and always smiling. What more could you ask for?

Went here awhile back on a Friday night. This is a neighborhood dive, which can be hard to find in this area. Unlike the rest of the bars in downtown Naperville, this one has a quiet location, ample parking and is not packed with loud 21 year olds. They have your typical drinks, probably not some XYZ martini or random craft beer but your basics. Also have a food menu, with items such as pizza, nachos and onion rings. Bartenders were attentive, so no complaints there. Definitely not a typical Naperville bar.

Was there last Friday night. Had to drag my wife in but I knew where I wanted to go(there). My kind of place. Kinda divey-ish(like someone else said), just the way I like it. The beef taco I had was awesome! A+. Had a couple of PBR’s and a good time overall. Nice place to just sit back and kill an hour or two. Just asked the wife how the amaretto stone sours were that she ordered and she said«excellent» Will be back.

I had the misfortune of having to take the train out to Naperville from my South Loop abode every weekday for nine weeks last winter. I had the good fortune that the Naperville Metra/Amtrak station stays open late(another story ); since I had to wait for the 8:30 pm train every night to go home. But once in a while, I needed a good stiff drink, and I hung-out at Orazio. The good news is that they serve food. Basic bar food of basic quality, but it was there when I needed it. They have the basics: I just needed a Jack on the rocks to take the edge off. They also have help-yourself popcorn, which is always a good touch in my book. The bad news is that I never felt especially welcome there, though I didn’t take it personally: I just needed a cold drink and a warm room. Still, it seemed that you had to be a regular to get a smile and friendly service from the women behind the bar; though they got the job done. It’s a dive, but a decent dive: it certainly served my purpose. I wasn’t there to linger.

I’ve been here a few times. Always feeling welcome. Friendly staff, good food, and comfy place to chill for a bit after a busy day at work or meeting with friends near the neighborhood. With 5 tvs, I bet you won’t miss the game :) Also, they have a pinball, a golf arcade and a touchscreen video game console… spend some time playing especialy when you are waiting for the metra train. On the weekends metra runs late sometimes, so grab yourself a couple beers or coctails and yeah don’t forget the free popcorn. If you are not into drinking, grab some food. Great prices for good food. Soup is a plus since the cold days have arrived. Pizza and sandwiches are delicious. Agh Chicago area and its bipolar weather. Different bands playing on Saturdays as well. Sunday funday good times to hang out with friends or locals and talk about the games. They have an outdoor patio… so early summer to mid october it s a cool spot to hang out. Plus, free parking :)

little fringe townie bar… regulars get good service. all others are treated pretty cold. nice patio and good location for train commuters though. food is terrible. also if you fart in the wrong direction you get banned for life.

I only visited Orazio Pub for drinks while waiting for the train, but I have no complaints! I think it is in a really great location where it could really get a lot of customers, being that it is right across from the train station. It is a small bar on the inside(as you can see from the pictures), but it looked like there was also patio seating out back. The bartender was extremely nice and provided excellent customer service. It was also very clean on the inside and had a lot of Marine Corps memorabilia. Oohrah! The prices were great for draft beers and they have specials going on through out the week. I didn’t order anything to eat, but I did take a look at the menu. It was made up mostly of bar food(burgers, fries, wings, nachos, sandwiches, etc) but that’s my favorite kind! I will most certainly be back and can’t wait to update my review once I have tried the food.

I love this place! It’s a tiny little dive right by the train station. It’s clean but dark, the bartenders are all awesome, there’s free popcorn, great and greasy food, and the patrons are lovely. Always a good crowd here, and it’s easy to strike up a conversation and make some new friends. I came here once when I actually had some work to do and I whipped out my laptop and notes to write my brief right at the bar counter and no one cared or gave me dirty looks. A couple guys did periodically buy me drinks if I agreed to turn off the computer and talk to them so that was a nice break, LOL.

Orazios is the place to be for a low-maintenance night out. Decide you want to go home after a few? Well hey, you can buy a case of beer to go too! It’s got kind of that dive look to it, with a long bar and a few tables. If you’re local, you’re probably going to run into someone you didn’t expect(or maybe want) to see here. But they’ll probably be in their pajamas like you are. Free popcorn is a nice perk, and the bathroom is a fun surprise– Candy is Dandy, but Liquor is Quicker!

Orazio’s is not the bar to visit if you want to: drink martini’s, dress up, barhop. It is the place to go if you enjoy: free(amazing!) popcorn, bedazzled bathrooms(single stall), good eats & drinks and a low maintenance crowd. I love this place. Not that I don’t love a barhopping, frilly night in downtown Naperville every once in a while, but there’s something more home-y and comforting about a bar with a few tables and just a step off the Metra stop. I literally visited this bar in pajamas once and didn’t feel out of place. The only caveat is that the prices are not exactly what you would expect for such a small, off-the-wall place. Not that they’re high… they aren’t. Just don’t expect a cheap bill if liquor is your drink of choice.

I sat and enjoyed two bottles of Rolling Rock(my favorite beer) while waiting for the Metra to come whisk us back in the direction of the city. I might make this a thing. It’s kind of fun to sit there and do that, and what a genius idea to have a bar sitting right adjacent to the train tracks! I totally want to go on a pub crawl of bars that are in close proximity to train stations. This needs to be a thing, and I’ll bet that it probably already is. There were a couple of other dudes in there, one younger hipster type drinking his PBR and then an older dude drinking a Rolling Rock(cheers!), both casually watching some sort of sports game. Very laid back. I wish there was a place like this in Forest Park. I don’t like crowds, I don’t like drunk and obnixous douchebags(even if they want to buy me a drink) and I don’t like excessive loudness. They sell beer to go, I didn’t take them up on it though because I’d already had two and had to work the next day. I am somewhat responsible that way.

Owen(the owner) is the BEST. This place is awesome next to the train station, but you must stop for the pizza. So friendly and comfortable, great drinks and cold beers. Winner!!!

«Here’s what were going to do: We’re going to take the Metra out to this bar in Naperville, that none of us have ever been to, and have a shot competition. Every one has to create a shot using whatever booze will be available at this bar… and you can bring your own condiments.» These are the things that my crazy friends come up with and this is what brought me to Orazio Pub with a syringe full of peanut butter in my purse. Upon first glance, Orazio Pub looks like a total dive. My first impression was that it reminded me of the little townie bars near the various lakes in Wisconsin. A place where everyone knows you and you’ll always find a friend, good conversation, and an ice cold beer. In other words, this was my kind of place. The inside was cute. The service was great and we were immediately greeted and served a few pitchers of beer. But what about the shot competition?! I started to panic as my original idea included Chambord. Would this dive bar have it? Yes. Yes, they did. So, even though this place feels like a dive, they stock a variety of liqueurs. Plus the pub grub is pretty good and they have Big Buck Hunter. If you stop in, be sure to check out the bathrooms. The men’s room is decorated like the bowels of hell while the women’s room is bedazzled.

Warning: This is not a «Naperville» bar. Great place to grab a beer before heading to the city or a brown-bagged 6-pack. Steps from the Metra station Orazio’s is the kind of bar you’d expect to find in a rural area, not Naperville. It has a divey, townie, chill, neighborhood bar feel. Most, if not all the patrons on any given week day evening are male and seem to be regulars — cursing, playing cards and giving anyone hell who holds the door open too long. Free popcorn is always on tap and the ladies behind the bar are attentive and friendly. The inside is dark, the blinds are always closed the bar extends almost the entire length of one side of the building with a few TV’s above the bar. If this tells you anything about the bar. .. on the inside of the door of the women’s restroom you’ll find the saying: «candy is dandy but liquor is quicker.» The only caution I have for this place is, beware, when you leave you’ll be smelling like fried food, but hey, it’s a small price to pay for the convenience.
