I just moved to River Run this month(July). My family loves this place… the staff is extremely friendly. Any issues I have had in this short time have been resolved quickly and professionally by everyone.

I have been living at River Run at Naperville Apartments since February of 2015. In every turn they have been accommodating and helpful. Recently there was leak in the apartment above me during the renovation of that apartment. It came down into my closet in the Master Bedroom. I immediately called the emergency line they have available for service, and they had their maintenance guys there in 10 minutes. Upon inspecting the problem, they solved the leak issue, and then within 30 minutes had a team of guys to come in, remove my things from the closet, setup dryers and dehumidifiers to get the process going. They had excellent follow up, and came back, repaired the ceiling in the the closet, painted and removed all the equipment, quickly and efficiently. I am so glad that I had chosen to move here back in February. It has quickly become my new home. I gladly recommend River Run to anyone looking to rent an apartment and wants to have trouble free living.

I love my apartment, my boyfriend and I chose a town house style which is really nice. The people who live here are friendly and we enjoy the pool and clubhouse. The location is also very nice, located in Naperville and close to stores, restaurants… etc. As much as we love our apartment and the river run community there are a few things that stand out above all else. I am not satisfied with the response time of the staff. The woman that leased us our apartment is always very hard to get a hold of. I almost feel as if she is avoiding us at times. I would email her and never receive a response. I also tried calling her and left messages and never got a response. That is a huge turn off… Also, we were promised a TV on the day that we moved in. That was part of a promotion that they were doing at the time of our lease, If you signed a lease within 48 hrs of your visit then you could pick either a new TV, laptop or an iPad that was promised to be waiting for you in your apartment on your move in date. After many calls/visits to the leasing office I was told that we should receive it today, we will see… it has been pushed off for quite a while. The pet fee’s here are very outrageous. I brought my cat with me, he is front paw de-clawed and neutered. there is a non-refundable $ 400 dollar pet fee due at move in… along with $ 35 dollars per month(per pet) in pet rent. I understand a security deposit of $ 400 dollars; if your pet ruins something in the apartment then use the $ 400 to fix it, but if there is nothing ruined then why not give the $ 400 back? Why non refundable? Bottom line is… this is a great community and there are many nice apartment styles to choose from. Don’t get me wrong, I do like living here there are just some things that future renters should be aware of. Don’t expect much from the leasing staff. They are your best friend at first, but once you become a resident or the next«sale» then you are put on the back burner.

River Run at Naperville is located in Neuqua Valley school district-voted best in the county. The apartments are huge with attached garages. We were excited with the large kitchens and the large walk-in closets. Unlike some of the other apartments in the area, River Run doesn’t feel as if it was built in the middle of a cornfield. There’s lush landscaping everywhere making it feel very inviting and helping to cut the wind in the winter and the hot sun in the summer. The staff is friendly and responsive. The pool and the gym are great!
