I called in an order for multiple gift baskets very last minute that I was hoping to have 2 days later. To my surprise all of my baskets were completed and packed the same day! Melanie the owner is so sweet and offers the absolute best customer service. Very pleased with how adorable my gift baskets turned out.

How can you NOT like RMCF?! Every time I go I get an apple. So far I’ve tried the worms & dirt, apple pie and cheesecake. All are delicious but I find myself going back to the apple pie. The last time I went I was given a sample of their peanut butter and vanilla fudge. Oh my goodness! It was so good I walked out with a half a pound. The employees are super nice and the service is always good. The only downfall is that it can be a bit pricey.

I come here quite often to pick up chocolate for my dad. Not too many chocolate store, unless they’re a specialty store, have a large variety of sugar-free dark chocolate(That’s actually good!). They are always extremely friendly. I always ask them to box my candy, which I would recommended. There is no extra charge, but it keeps what you get fresh for a longer period time, which would not happen if they just put it in a regular paper bag. Not all Rocky Mountain’s offer the same stuff because some are corporate owned and some are franchisee. The franchisee stores are usually better because they offer different stuff, whereas, the corporate stores have a strict set menu. Enjoy :)

I love chocolate. I’m kind of an exper when it comes to chocolate. Just a few nights ago, I stopped at this strip mall to hit up Penzey’s and since they were closed and I was already parked in the lot, I chose to check out RMCF. I walked into a well stock, empty store with one young employee and about 1500 lbs. of chocolate in their display cases. You would think that they would offer some samples of their treats to try to upsell the people that actually walk in their door, but nope! I guess here they think the name will sell itself. I’m not very familiar with their treats, so I would have loved to have tried something out but nothing. The young lady behind the counter was less than helpful. She turned her back on my several times as if she had something more important to tend to. Maybe SHE was writing a Unilocal review or a Facebook post about how bored she was at her job? I asked for some guidance from her to see what she would recommend by asking what was her favorite and whats the most popular but she pointed at 2 items, the bears and the toffee and said they sell a lot of these items and people seem to like them. Hmmmm… nice sales pitch. I ended up leaving with one of each and $ 8 later, I was on my way. Not impressed.

«CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE! ACK!» I recently started a diet, so it PAINSME to write this review because it’s making me crave chocolate so bad.(God, I’m such a fucking cliché.) I stopped in a couple weeks ago to pick up a couple custom gift boxes of truffles for some friends of mine. At $ 2.50 a truffle, it’s not exactly cheap, but truffles are always expensive. They had a nice selection of truffle flavors, and all of them were just so damn CUTE; I kind of had fun putting my boxes together!(And my friends later confirmed that the truffles were just as delicious as they looked.) The lady at the register was super-friendly and offered us some sample fudge and white chocolate-pumpkin-flavored pretzels. She also wrapped my boxes up with pretty ribbons, which was a nice touch. Oh, and as this trip was pre-diet, I obviously picked up something for myself. It was difficult deciding WHAT exactly I wanted, since everything looked so delicious(and their fancy caramel apples were extremely enticing), but I went with an old standby: English toffee! It. Was. Wonnnnnderful. My boyfriend tried an Avalanche Bar, which consisted of… I don’t even remember, since I was too busy snarfing my toffee. But he said it was good. I do remember that they had a variety of sugar-free chocolate items… perhaps there’s room for chocolate on a diet after all?

Visited in April, 2010. Okay, I’ve been to RMCF’s in various different locations(Denver, Salt Lake City, Chicago, etc.) and they all seem to have decent chocolate. Don’t expect anything insanely delicious, however.

CARAMELAPPLES!!! They have all the other candy store stuff too: fudge, chocolate covered bits of orange peel, peanut butter«buckets»(essentially outsized pb cups), basically anything you can cover in chocolate. But today they ushered in fall for me with the first caramel apple of the season. And it was good. I just got plain peanut + caramel, but they have all kinds of varieties, with crazy chocolate shells, toffee, multiple nut varieties, and so forth. They’re across the street from Barnes and Noble, nestled in near a handful of restaurants. Nice spot for a sweet treat.

One of the best for chocolate. Too bad they got rid off some of the chocolate covered fruits, but when I was pregnant the owner made choc covered pineapple special for me. Try the covered pretzels and the mint truffles — a favorite of my husband! I hear the ice cream is delicious also.

Oooh… a specialty chocolate store in Naperville! What’s there not to like? An indulgent afternoon would be scoring some chocolate covered apricots, heading to B&N, and then wandering to the Riverwalk.

I do enjoy chocolate — you could say I eat so much chocolate that it’s amazing I have time to write reviews on Unilocal.Yet my kids don’t know it exists, we’ll see how long that lasts. They sell a lot of gifts and homemade fudge. Some of the gifts are the cheesy pre-packaged in basket variety, others are more original. A divine way to get a stomache ache.
