We were greeted by a very unfriendly hostess who was filing her nails. The restaurant is stuffy with dirty carpets. The waitress was quick to dismiss us from the restaurant and as for the food… well… The snapper was the absolute worst. The crispy mahi was delicious, but that snapper is still haunting my dreams(looked and tasted like a brown paper bag). When we asked about desert, we were told to go down stairs to the bathroom because she wasn’t listening to what we were asking. Oh and how could I forget… we asked to move tables and the hostess replied«you can move yourself.» GREATEXPERIENCE!

Went for lunch with friends. Enjoyed the grouper. A little too heavy on the breaking for my taste but fish was fresh. View and service were some of the best in Naples.

Every server I’ve had on my three visits has been polite and pleasant. Some more welcoming that others. The view is marvelous. I love the white tablecloths. The food and prices are satisfactory. I’ll return soon because my weekly dining group is accommodated graciously.

Went for a party of 2. Service was excellent .Had the shrimp cock tail as app, Tried the snapper and grouper for entrée both excellent, at the end I used a credit card(120), crossed out the tip in the receipt, I left a generous cash tip(over 20%). .looked at the credit card statement online it was charged with tip(145) meanwhile I had crossed it off and left cash. Called the restaurant was told that the waitress left for the night and that she will call me back and they couldn’t do anything about it. No response or call back. I had to wind up disputing the charge . 3 stars in my book for overall 4 – 5 stars for food

Beautiful views — we sat out the outside patio and the scenery was amazing. Our group tried the spring rolls and calamari for apps after a few beverages from the bar. Everything was really good, minus the mojito which wasn’t muddled appropriately if you know what I mean. Dinner we had a few mahi dishes, the tuna special, coconut shrimp and lobster mashed potatoes. Don’t judge us we were hungry LOL! All good, one mahi was slightly over cooked. The food runner also dropped a plate on the way to our table so one meal was late to arrive. Quick apology but not really from the server. Dessert we had the coconut cake(light and rum soaked) and the flourless chocolate cake(rich and fudgy). All and all a good and satisfying dinner. As you can see we ate a lot and the bill was about $ 250 for four people. Kind of expensive but worth it. I would definitely go back and try some other menu items.

Can’t beat the view and ambience, especially out on the upper level deck. Crispy mahi mahi was fantastic, as was the teriyaki salmon. The outdoor bar is a great place to relax and unwind with a stellar view.

The manager and bartender were flippant, rude and food was old and rotten. They brought my friend the wrong order then simply replied with«well that’s what you got»… Completely rude and treated us like tourists when in fact we live here. We and everyone we know will never step foot in this sad excuse for a restaurant.

Here with family. Our first time here for lunch. Have this great table on the 2nd floor overlooking the waterways. Very pretty sea and restaurant. Have taken picture through a mirror to capture the room. Service and ambiance and time in between servings was very comfortable. We all enjoyed what we ordered. Crunchy Fish and Chips, Grilled Mahi Gyro on Pita bread, Monte Cristo sandwich, Grilled Chicken Caesar wrap, Beer Battered Onion rings. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy the food and the panoramic view below! Back for another lunch in April. More great dishes.(Added pictures) Blackened Mahi on a wrap Tuna Sandwich and NE Chowder Crunchy Fried Grouper Onion Rings Cuban Black Bean Soup

Don’t usually do these, but I don’t usually get food poisoning. The crab and shrimp pasta was way better the first time.

Great view. Great food. Mediocre service. One thing I can’t stand is bad service. My experience wasn’t terrible but not worth coming back for. Had to wait a long time for drinks, clean up, no return or check up on food after it was served, and did I mentioned how slow the service was. Yeah…

The view gets 3 stars on its own. I’ve been twice, on 2 separate trips to Naples. Dined overlooking water both times. Cocktails are spot on. Gazpacho was good, as was the Caesar. Service seems pretty consistent — great to walk around the Village after lunch, too.

Best view in Naples and the food isn’t ½ bad either! They even have live music some evenings on the rooftop patio. Bayside is a great place to grab a drink or a bite. The food is very good if you order at a normal dinner/lunch time, but if you come for happy hour when they only offer the bar menu, I would say don’t bother. I guess it’s not that bad if your starving, but it’s not good.(You have been warned!) That being said, it’s worth pointing out that this is one of the only water view restaurants in Naples that doesn’t fully close between lunch and dinner, so it’s nice to know you can come for a midday cocktail at your leisure. If you haven’t tried Bayside, I would say it’s time to give it a whirl! It’s definitely top of the list in Venetian village, and with all those awesome restaurants nearby, that’s saying a lot!

Thanksgiving Dinner food was good but service was awful… Had a reservation, got nice table by the window, ordered the rack of lamb when it did arrived no bread not mint jelly no refill on tea had to ask more than once then had to wait to receive items… Meal was cooked perfect. Then had to ask for dessert and coffee got dessert it was terrible never got coffee waited to get bill only to find the 20% tip had automatically been added well that answered the bad service question he did not have to make an effort. Those around me got the same bad treatment Will not make an effort to return.

Our evening at Bayside consisted of a beautiful rooftop dining area with great music on a warm, moonlit night. The restaurant is spacious inside and out — the décor was slightly dated but comfortable. On the rooftop, you had access to a beautiful water view — not much to see at night but I would imagine is spectacular during the day. The service was a bit spotty — while friendly and somewhat attentive they didn’t seem to be too knowledgeable about the menu and when we asked for things, they needed reminding before we actually got what we requested. We started with wine, cocktails and some coconut shrimp which was excellent, crisp and full of flavor — we got three large ones for a table for four(which we split). It would have been nice if the server recommended ordering an additional shrimp so we could each have our own. We also ordered the blue crab spring rolls and they were very good too. For dinner we had a variety of items ranging from Bouillabaisse to Miso Glazed Sea Bass to Grouper and we enjoyed them all. We ordered dessert but I didn’t have any and don’t remember what it was. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the experience at Bayside but it was really the quality of the food that put it over the top. We’ll eagerly add this place to our list of «go to» places in Naples.

The Good: The lobster bites appetizer was exceptional. Service was perfect. Views were great. All meals were great. The Bad: nothing about the restaurant. However, we arrived an hour early so our party of ten could enjoy the shops in the area and learned that they all closed at 6pm or earlier, despite a posted 7:00 closing time. Restaurant accommodated us early. The Rest: Everything was very good, from the lamb to the seafood! Even my martini was made perfect. Nice wine selection. The crème brûlée for desert was very good as well. On my list of places for a revisit!

Went here on a Saturday night. Off season so not super busy. Had a reservation upstairs. Nice view of the bay. Live music. Got and old fashioned. Very well made. Not a great beer selection. Only four on draft, not a great variety. Blue crab rolls and calamari apps. Very good. Calamari was in an oily broth with peppers. Tender and flavorful. Blackened grouper entrée with green beans and mustard aioli. Small portion but cooked extremely well. Good place. A little pricey for the entrees but high quality and nice atmosphere.
