Although my wife and I were there during the off season(early fall) we appreciated the professional service and the extra care they showed us. The the food was perfect and our waitress suggested the perfect white wine for our meals. The manager came to our table and talked to us which was very nice! It was 20 years ago when my wife and I sat in Cloydes and we both agree that it was just as good. Thanks and hope to see you again soon.

Had NY strip which was pretty good. My wife which is very picking about her steaks absolutely loved her filet and lobster.

Great service and delicious food. Difficult to choose from so many awesome choices, but can never go wrong with the steak choices. Add the great view and you are set for a wonderful dining experience.

Wonderful ambiance. Love their onion rings but their steak is unbelievable. My favorite place in naples to eat, get a great view of the bay. 5 star food, 5 star service.

NEWOWNERS, NEWNAME. The place is now called T. Michael’s. We have eaten here before(under previous owners) and it was decent but not great. Tonight it was great! Way better menu selection with much more choices. Nice views, great service and the food was very good! I didn’t give it 5stars because I felt it was too pricey. We live in Naples and we understand high prices but I think the prices are a bit steep. The Lobster deal is the best and quite yummy, so get that! The new owner has great plans to build a dock for the boats to pull up, an outdoor patio and an indoor, in between the bar and restaurant standing room for drinks and mingling(great for people watching). Great ideas and it’s all exciting for this place to have a new facelift, that will bring a younger crowd and keep us coming.(We are in our 40’s)

I made reservations at Cloydes based on the reviews a couple of weeks ago. I am so glad, I went to Unilocal. Our dining experience was spectacular. The food was great, even though they were out of a couple of entrees which would have been my initial order. However, I ended eating the Lemon Herb Chicken and it was moist and tender. My wife was pleasantly pleased with her Tilapia. Additionally, the stream beans were cooked to perfection. Most four or five star restaurants I visit seem to mess up the stream beams. We had molten chocolate cake for dessert and the cocktails were good as well. Additionally, the décor and ambiance was great. We had a great view of the Gulf and my wife truly enjoyed herself. The server could have been a little more attentive but I overlooked it because he appeared to be nervous/anxious for some reason. However, the owner really went out of her to make sure we had a great view and dining experience.

I’ve been to cloydes four times to date. We have eaten in the bar area which is nice and cozy and less formal. We recently ate in the dining room right next to the water. The food was fantastic. We started with a Caesar salad which was to die for. Our server however was a little cool. When she saw we were looking a red wines she ran and brought a $ 70 bottle of wine to our table. We did not ask for any help and did not appreciate that gesture. We chose another wine and she was less than friendly the rest of the meal. We had to ask for water refills several times. The food was fantastic, we had sea bass and crab cakes and both were wonderful. We will go back the next time we are in naples.

We used here which I didn’t think was used very often, but it seemed like the majority of the tables next to me used it to. It was a plus, but it does not say it on the voucher, they automatically add a 19% gratuity so just make sure you know that the tip is already there. We had a grilled ribeye with baked potato and asparagus and a salmon with a dill crème sauce and carrots and asparagus. All along with the bread was amazing. The prices are pretty high, but the food is good and the servings are quite large. The service is good, the view is very pretty. The clientele is quite old so know that, but it doesn’t matter bc everything else is wonderful. The manager walked around making sure everyone was happy. that’s a very special touch. I am happy we went here. The value and quality were wonderful. Valet parking is free. This is located in the villages of Venetian bay so you can walk around shops before or after, and be able to see the view on the bay.

Here’s where all the old money in Naples goes for dinner. It had been about ten years since my wife and I dined at Cloyde’s. We were pleased with the service and the food but not overly so. We visit Naples several times each year and try all different places for dinner. Cloyde’s is always a good choice because of the beautiful view and the location in Venetian Village. It’s the same as it was ten years ago as we recall. Very good but not spectacular. There are a lot of choices in the Naples area and this place surely pleases the old guard but new younger diners that want to spend a tidy some for dinner just might choose someplace else. We would probably sit in the bar area next time as it’s a little younger crowd.

After checking out Cloyde’s online I’ll have to say the view is what won me over, so I made some reservations. We arrived to a packed house, and were seated immediately at a window table with a great view. I’ve been in the process of trying out new restaurants in town, so I’ve been making sure to try a variety of menu items. We ordered some crab stuffed mushrooms and Oysters Rockefeller. The crab stuffed mushrooms were literally a mushroom with a big chunk of crab meat, no fillers here, they were fantastic. The Oysters Rockefeller were also very good, plenty of cheese and spinach and tasty oysters. We also shared a cup of French Onion Soup, I’ve always been a fan, but it was the first time for my date, who doesn’t like onions, she loved it and so did I. Lots of bubbly cheese on top with a very savory soup underneath. For our entrees we ordered Prime Rib for me and the sea bass with lobster cream sauce for her. I’ve been on a Prime Rib and Sea Bass kick recently and both were great, the sea bass more so than the prime rib. The sea bass is as good as any place I’ve tried, and the lobster cream sauce is a nice change from the usual Miso. The prime rib was also very good and cooked perfect, but I can’t help to compare it to some prime rib I had last week, you can figure out which review it is, I don’t like to promote other restaurants in reviews. The food was great, our service was not so great. But I do prefer good food over good service, and I would like to point out that every other server in the restaurant seemed to be friendly and very attentive with their customers. I’m thinking maybe our server was having a bad night, she just wasn’t very attentive, and would disappear for long periods of time. I would also like to point out that online they have a larger menu, with seasonal menu items, so I was a little disappointed to be limited to their normal selections. Also a tip for all steak houses, serve some of your drinks is nice heavy lowball rocks glass. I like a stiff drink with a steak, but I don’t like it in a highball glass. Over all great food, and from what I observed but didn’t experience, great service, and a fantastic location and view.

Very nice place to have dinner in the evening looking out at the Venitian Bay. There were 3 in my party for dinner. The mussel appetizer was outstanding probably the best mussels I have had. We also had the tenderloin beef tips for an appetizer they were done to perfection and came in a pipping hot cast iron skillet. I had the 16 oz NY strip cooked rare ordered the baked sweet potato and a side of mushrooms. The steak was outstanding and cooked perfect. I am from the Midwest and this steak ranked right up there. The sweet potato was good but not a highlight for me. The others in my party had 22oz Bone in ribeye awesome steak cooked medium rare spot on. The other party member had prime rib cooked medium rare I tasted the prime rib and it was tender and had the best flavor. The only thing the place was lacking was a dessert menu nothing exciting at all vanilla bean ice cream with toasted coconut topping and hot fudge I can get that at DQ. And the mushrooms kind of tasted like they were out of the can. Other than that if you are looking for a good steak and an nice atmosphere this is the place.

Absolutely beautiful view of the Village on Venitian Bay, reminds you of Venice Italy. I suggest to just focus on the steak as my Scampi Ravioli is mediocre. service is just Ok.

Pretty views and good food. Not as good as some of the NY steakhouses we go to but definitely a good meal with attentive staff.

I’m glad the food at Cloyde’s is really good, because it’s really expensive. The prime rib was tender and perfectly cooked. The lobster bisque was tasty and had just the right sherry bite. Steaks were just right. The cauliflower mash was the perfect alternative to mashed potatoes while the baked sweet potato was done with skill. No one had lobster because it required a second mortgage to pay for it.

My family and friends decided to have our New Years dinner at Cloyde’s this weekend and what a great choice; we had a great time. Although it was a bit on the pricey side, but what can you expect from a steak and lobster house on the 31st of December. Other then the price the food was great, I ordered their Center Cut Filet Mignon with a baked potato. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, but what topped it off was their truly sweet temptations. :D

I would have given it 2⁄12 if i could. We went there to have a couple of drinks and several APP’s. apparently this place is HUGE for the early bird crowd. The bar was packed with 60 – 70 somethings. So we ended up getting a table. I told the server our plans ahead of time(app’s and drinks) and he went through the motions, but was obviously not pleased. I think they whee busier than they expected to be and the teamwork thing does not seem to be part of the training there. Anyway: Don’t get the mussels, the shrimp cocktail was good and the Lobster bisque was good. We had received a $ 30 groupon for the restaurant as a gift, at first they tried to not let us use it because we ordered off their happy hour menu but i asked them why we could not use it toward our drinks(about $ 25 Worth) The server went back to the manager and they allowed it. So they gave us $ 25 for our $ 30 groupon(what a gip) They add gratuity to Groupon users, which is not smart in my case, i still added an extra $ 10 but the server lost out on about $ 5 extra dollars on top of that. The manager never came by the table at all and looks like he is out of his league… so in a nut shell this place has a good view and that’s about it, i will not go back.

This placed used to be a solid 4 star but has recently changed hands. Really, at this point, it is way overpriced(like almost steakhouse prices) for food that is mediocre at best. Thankfully, we had a groupon which saved some $. The swordfish was a tiny portion and tasted fishy and old for $ 28. The Chilean sea bass was ok but poorly seasoned for $ 31. The prime rib(can‘t rememeber price) was 16 oz of fat. The presentation is nearly absent-just slapped on the plate Although I realize that is kind of a steak house thing. The baked potatoes were average-kinda seemed like they had been sitting around awhile. The salad was limp! Unfortunately, bartender, Robin was off that night. He may be the omly remaining glimmer of hope for this place. This place had many regulars from the neighborhood and I can‘t imagine they will stay in business if they do not get their kitchen act together. The regs will not come back. They do occupy a wonderful location in the Naples Park Shore neighborhood on Venetian Bay. The atmosphere is nice and the valets are friendly and do a heck of a job.
