Had lunch there today and sat near the back and there was an awful odor. An odor of urine. In almost got up but I was with three others and thought it would be rude. My food came and it was good but I had lost my appetite with this odor.

It is strange to find good places to eat much less inside a store but the café bistros at nordstroms are great. The menu is simple and it is good for on the go or just seat and relax after shopping. The deserts are amazing as well. I always come for the salmon salad which never disappoints. Service is great as well.

Nordstrom café has conquered the title for my ideal lunch, not just on a shop ’til you drop day at Waterside, but every day. Each Nordstrom café has a different spin on the ordering process, but at this location, you order at the entrance and take a seat where you wish. I have enjoyed everything I have ever eaten here, but I have gotten into a particular habit. I start with the tomato soup with an extra crostini for dipping. How unfortunate that the tomato soup is only served on Saturdays here but it is my absolute favorite.(If you start serving it every day, I will even come up with a 6th star – wink, wink!) Another tidbit for ordering… the salads can be ordered in a half size, although they don’t advertise it on the menu. The salads are monstrous at full size, so the half is perfect. They make their dressings from scratch… I think I could drink the cilantro lime dressing for the Cilantro Lime shrimp salad! Crisp, acidic, smooth. My other go-to salad is a classic… the Chicken Caesar with a Parmesan crisp and homemade croutons(the kind I wish I could always have on my salads). If you aren’t in the mood for soup and salad, they have crafty sandwiches, simple pastas, flatbreads, tender roasted chicken or salmon. After a delightful meal, those mint chocolate sticks are always a fantastic little treat… I wish I could stick about 20 of those in my purse to-go! Lol.
