I brought my elderly mom here for a delicious lunch, but we almost didn’t make it in. The entrance is challenging for someone using a walker because you have to circle wide around to use a ramp, then navigate a cluster of couches and chairs to reach the door. Surprisingly, the hostess was clueless about what to do with a walker(this *is Naples, with millions of old people) but I just had her take away a chair and put the walker in its place. Enough about that. The crab cakes were excellent, with very little breading, the ahi tuna burger was amazing, and the fresh English peas were too good to pass up. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. It is very loud in there, but I’ll definitely be back!

I have been eating at Bricktops for many years when visiting my parents in Naples. It has really seemed to have undergone some changes for the better over time and has been really good(with one caveat mentioned below) as of late. Bricktops has a fairly eclectic menu, ranging from flatbreads to burgers to fish, steak, and even some sushi rolls. Food quality is high, but the current $$ rating on Unilocal is a joke. Sushi rolls are $ 12 – 18, most starters well above $ 10, and entrees start in the high $ 20’s with many in the low-to-mid $ 30s. Tack on a drink of anything but tap water and you will be well into the $$$ range at Bricktops. A recent meal comprising one lobster bisque, one bloody mary, and one Hollywood roll topped out at $ 35. On my most recent trip to Naples I had a Sunday brunch/lunch with a friend at the bar. Bar tender was professional and attentive and the drinks(bloody marys) were really good. I ordered the lobster bisque and Hollywood roll, both of which were amazing. My friend had the spicy tuna roll which he said was also great. Despite being extremely busy food came out quickly and the bar tender was always ready to help in case we needed anything. After the great brunch, I returned for dinner with my parents later in the week. Like the bartender at brunch, our server was personable, attentive, and professional. Drinkwise, I gave the moscow mule a try this time– not bad(but $ 12). Draught list is really disappointing– the closest thing to «craft» was Jai alai and blue moon. For food, we started with the margherita flatbread. It has changed from years past from what was a large, rectangular flatbread to now a very small, basically personal pizza. They really seemed to skimp on the mozzarella but overall it was still very good. I got the lobster bisque again which was as amazing as the first time as well as another hollywood roll. In fact I liked the hollywood roll so much I ordered one to go for lunch the next day. Overall this was a four star experience until I took out the to-go hollywood roll(which was either $ 16 or $ 18 – I can’t remember – but pricey regardless) I ordered for lunch the next day. As soon as I opened the plastic cover I noticed a 4″ black hair sitting atop one of the rolls. There is no way this could have come anywhere but the kitchen since the lid hadn’t been opened since the server brought it to our table. Needless to say I think I’ve lost my appetite for Bricktops for a while and probably won’t be returning any time soon.

Came here for a business lunch. Service was very good and waiter generous with ice tea refills Ordered two flattop pizza plain and veggie for apps and they were good. Entrée was grouper with quinoa salad and it was excellent. Very fresh and grilled

Amazing Key Lime Pie. If you can find a parking space in busy Waterside Shops, run in and order a slice to go from the bartender. You won’t regret it. Not your ordinary crumb crust, truly tart filling, clouds of whipped cream.

Went in late December for lunch. Tried the $ 15.00 flat bread, lured by burrata topping. Well, it was a small, round child’s pizza covered in lots of bland tomato sauce, then oregano(so that it might not look so much like the kids pizza!) and tiny mounds(about 3) of cheese, so little you couldn’t tell if it was actually burrata or not. If so, they treat it like caviar– you’re just getting a spoonful. Everything else was ok, but we had asked the server if this item was good, and she gushed that«oh, yes, it’s soooo good. «. Be truthful and suggest something else!

I was visiting Naples for the Christmas holidays with my girlfriend to see her family. And we decided to check out bricktop’s because of the reviews. We just left Church service with her family and it was a little late. But we were starving and decided to stop in and grab a bite to eat. I was hesitant at first because it was close to closing time and thought that we might get turned away and/or bad service because we would have been” those people” that show up at the last minute. But I was wrong about both. we were greeted by a friendly hostess and waitress. Our server was Marie 769. She was very friendly helpful and professional she answered any questions we had. Our order consisted of the veggie burger, blueberry martini and myself the meatloaf, mac and cheese and Key West sunset ale. Our food and drinks where very! good. The meatloaf could have had a little bit more fat in it. It was little to lean for meatloaf but that’s just my personal opinion. it was still very very good. Definitely will be back next time we’re in town

I go here because of the consistently good service and great food. That’s it, the restaurant delivers every time.

The service was great, but our seabass was oily and the stir fry veggies were overcooked. The deviled eggs were really good.

Having been to this restaurant at least 50 times, after tonight’s experience, I will no longer. Neither the hostess nor the server told us they instituted a corkage fee a few weeks ago, after years of not having one. Only after opening our own wine, did the server mention the $ 20 corkage fee. Had I known that, I would have put my own bottle away and ordered from the menu. When we asked to speak with a manager(Mike), he wouldn’t waive the fee, and handled the situation very poorly. On top of having poor service(35 minutes to get a server to take our order), it feels like the restaurant changed owners. And it’s not the Bricktops that we’ve enjoyed for many years. As a matter of principle, we will not be going back to this restaurant. There are too many other great places(i, e. KC American Bistro, Bleu Provence, etc) that value their customers. And I will support them.

I met a friend for lunch at Bricktops today — hadn’t been there for a long time, and had forgotten just how good this place is. We ordered salads — the presentation on the Cobb salad was unique and the salad itself was delicious. Loaded with bacon and chicken, and served with a light seasoned oil dressing. My friend chose a barbecued chicken salad which was large and more traditionally presented. Oddly, neither salad was served with bread. However, we still had plenty to eat! Service was polite and prompt. The ambience was quiet and conducive to conversation, with a contemporary clean décor. Definitely put Bricktops on your list for your next trip to Waterside Shops!

We had lunch here today, and it was great ! I, not hungry, had the special deviled egg & bacon dish with a Stella Artois draft. Wife had the crab cake salad. We are both Gulf Coast natives & live in New Orleans; «hard to please», but were both very happy here. Great parking, indoor/outdoor bars, nice décor, competent wait-staff. This place came highly recommended by a Physician-Colleague who had lived in Naples. We owe Her for this ! Don’t miss this ! We’re going back. Rick

Came back again on vacation this year! I went with my standard sushi and salad. The menu states side salads can only be ordered with main entrees which might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Our server wasn’t sure if sushi counted so she asked and thankfully it did. To me that just seems like a way to nickel and dime your customers. Our server was nice, we encountered slow service here again. Even my friend commented on it and thought it must be a southern thing. She got a flatbread and while she liked it, she did end up getting sick later. I don’t think she would go back. My sister again got the BBQ chicken salad and she said it was good. My mom got the Parmesan chicken and loved it. We ended with the cookie sundae for dessert which was amazing! I’m sure we would go back again, but the whole experience felt a little less impressive than our last visit.

Worst meal I have had in a restaurant in years. Slow service. Awful food. Not a single redeeming quality. I can’t believe people go there. No wonder there was no wait! Save your time and money and go somewhere else! You’ll thank me!

Give heed to all you wonderful business-luncheoners! I would deem Bricktops to be an excellent venue for those that need a place to talk business. With its elegant, masculine club-like ambiance, it’s the perfect place to enjoy food to impress, and intimate conversation without the distractions of the outside world. This restaurant is at Waterside, and we all know that this place is a zoo in season. However, Bricktops among a few restaurant neighbors, share free valet services right in front of the restaurant. This girl right here had to use valet before to make life just a bit easier. The ambiance boasts dark wood at the bar, and and delineate the booths. It’s a white linen establishment which makes everything look classy. Inside, the light is quite intimate, but they have a decent patio area that’s adjacent to the bar. If you sit near the far end of the patio, there’s a huge window that peeks into the inner workings of the kitchen. The food is just how you want it. Simple, elegant, fresh and traditional. This place understands the concept of doing something well that’s so simple. I’ve had everything from fish tacos, cheeseburgers, Palm Beach salad, Maryland style crab cake, Scottish salmon, filet, and their cast iron roasted chicken. I’m a huge fan of whatever vegetables they use to accompany their dishes which change on a daily basis(?). If there are ever roasted vegetables, there’s a nice char and earthiness to it. Even this pea-hater enjoys their peas. Their portions can be quite rich and decadent, so I would stay away from adding to the heaviness by ordering a rich side. The salads are beautifully substantial as well. If you can save room for dessert, their key lime pie is heaven, and I never have enough room for their bread pudding. I can’t recount the service, and maybe it’s a good thing when you have wait staff invisible when you want them to be, and they’re available when you need something. It may be a different case when you’re not engaged in detailed conversation and just waiting for the first course. Bricktops is definitely a treasured win in my books, and seems to be a favorite for most Neapolitans. 26 – 2015

Bricktops has delicious well-seasoned food and a delightful strong drinks! They have a cute little patio and beautiful bar area, but I have never actually been inside the restaurant or ever used the facilities here. I certainly would though! It’s lovely and clean design, a bit reminiscent to the dining room at seasons 52. It is located in the busy Waterside shoppes, so parking can be difficult. However, they do offer complimentary valet. Only downside is that you have to wait for the valets :) They have great food, a bit simple, but elegant American food menu. The grilled artichokes are great, but very messy to eat. Definitely wouldn’t get it for a date! I usually like to start with a sushi roll. All the rolls are yummy and they will even make it gluten free if you ask. This most recent visit, I had the Palm beach salad and my bf got the veggie burger. Veggie burger was awesome! Smokey tempeh, rice, beans, definitely homemade and unique! It reminded me of a recipe Melissa Clark published in the New York Times a while back. It was the full set up with cheese and a teriyaki type sauce(the teriyaki we didn’t care for– too sweet!) The Palm beach salad has a beautiful presentation, but too much«stuff»(crab salad, shrimp salad, tomatoes, mashed avocado) and not enough greens. The crab also had a bit too much mayo so had to add lots of black pepper to cut it! Just a few nit-picky things plus a bit expensive for lunch, but overall pretty high quality dining experience for a traditional american food type meal. Definitely recommend a try!

I came here for lunch on a Friday INSEASON. The place was fairly empty which was nice. The weather allowed for me to enjoy sitting outside which is beautiful in comparison to the dark dining room. This is the first time I had ever been to the restaurant and my overall experience was great. I pretty much just got every specialty they had. The deviled eggs were delicious and quite the surprise considering I’m not typically a fan of deviled eggs nor would that be something I would really ever order off the menu. I had their prickly pear margarita which was absolutely up my alley, quite tasty. The meatloaf and macaroni were ok. The meatloaf was flavorful but almost TOO flavorful to the point of being repugnant. The ma and cheese was the star of the dish. I didn’t have enough room in my belly to have dessert, but that’s just another reason to go back :)

This place is magically delicious! First, it’s located in a beautiful shopping area. Our server was very funny and quick. He was friendly and offered great suggestions, since it was our first time there. They didn’t have moscato, so we each ordered a glass of champagne. Bubbly goodness! For an appetizer, we ordered the deviled eggs. Honestly– they were better than my grandmothers! AND they came with a few thick pieces of maple sugar dipped and rolled in brown sugar BACON! Yes. Heaven. You must order this!!! I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken. I couldn’t eat another bite– and yet I did because it was that good! I even took leftovers home and had it for lunch the next day:) Key lime pie for dessert was perfect! I love this place and will be back– with friends :)

We come here so often; consistent is the most important thing I can say… it’s always tasty. It’s always a little over priced but always tasty. SEASON is now here in naples and prices have increased $ 5-$ 8 per dish, new menu and service lousy. So unfortunate as we come here weekly as our safe spot for kids and parents to have a great dinner and drink experience. Will not be back until April. :/ 2nd post ~ Then… Our server got lost, our food took over and hour(2 cheeseburgers) and then our burgers came and we’re not prepared properly… UNBELIEVABLE! Truly bad management. Figured at worst we wouldn’t be charged for a crap experience — but nope, full tilt on the bill. Horrible … Truly horrible.
